“I was a bit anxious at first leaving Bubba with a complete stranger, but Scott was great during our meet and greet with him and I knew they would get along fine and Scott would take good care of him. Scott was conscientious about taking notes on how much to feed and when, potty habits, quirks I thought he needed to know. He provided me pictures everyday and I was pleased to see that Bubba got plenty of exercise while I was gone. I definitely plan to use Scott again. Thanks for a great experience.”

“Sandy was so amazing with our dog Cooper! He stayed with her for five nights and I don't think he wanted to leave - it was like summer camp for him. After dropping him off at her house and meeting her dog I felt more than comfortable leaving him there. Sandy sent us updates with pictures every day, and Cooper looked like he was having a great time and made himself right at home. We will definitely be rebooking with Sandy again!”

“Kristin was great with my fur babies! She treated them like her own and I could tell they were completely comfortable with her! I love that she sent me pictures of them and kept me informed on how they were doing!”

“Lynsi is my favorite dog sitter and who I use everytime I need my babies watched. Her whole family is amazing!! Definitely recommend her if you want to know your fur babies are in great hands!!”

“Sierra and Andrew were wonderful!! Sierra took such good care of our girls, and sent us many daily photos and updates. Our pups had such a blast playing in their yard, and they didn't want to leave when we picked them up! Highly recommend booking with Sierra - they are amazing dog sitters :)”

“Elen is great with Ony. This is the second time Ony has stayed with Elen and she just loves Elen. Ony is definitely looking forward to staying with her again. Such good care. Sent pictures and videos to me through out her stay there.”

“Left my Axel with her and she sent daily updates every morning. We had a conversation about some health before our trip and she took those well into consideration. She went as far as to help me solve some issues he had been having. Will be rebooking next vacation!”

“Another great sitting with Dannah! Jackson made some new friends and was well taken care of. Dannah picked up Jack soon after I left and dropped him off right before I got home making sure he had fresh water and food so I wouldn’t need to mess with this when I got home. She does a great job providing progress reports. I often travel for work a week at a time, monthly, and have no worries about leaving Jackson with Dannah. I know he will always be well cared for as he has for the last 18 months.”
“Donna was amazing with my girl. I have an older Shiba and they can be particular little dogs. She kept her entertained and comfortable the entire time. Regular picture updates and a very happy dog when I came home. 10/10”

“Sarah was great at watching our two dogs over Christmas, even our large one with anxiety. She also didn't have a problem keeping them on such short notice. Definitely recommend.”

“Pamela goes above and beyond, my pups love her! She has great communication and always keeps us updated through messages and daily photos. We are so grateful for her attentiveness and care and for Pamela being so accommodating for a last minute request. We look forward to our pups next visit with her 🐾”

“Robin is my normal petsitter for my fur baby. Repeat customers say a lot about a pet sitter. Our pets are our babies and we want to be able to trust someone to know they are getting great care and being loved. Robin does that. She loves every dog as if they were her own. She sends pictures every morning and tells you how you're pet is doing and she will also tell you if she's having any issues or questions or concern regarding your pit. Robin is a very good communicator and goes the extra mile for her clients.”

“Charles was a fantastic sitter for my dog Carter during our weekend trip to Waveland, MS. He kept us updated with photos throughout the stay, which gave us peace of mind. Carter got plenty of fresh air with daily walks through Charles’ wooded neighborhood and even a fun outing to the local farmers market. We’ll definitely be booking with Charles again if we come to town.”

About: Pets (and working animals) have always been in my life. Currently I do have dogs of my own and always have. Moved to the city and sure do miss my goats, chickens and most of all my potbellies that couldn't come 😭 My father was an animal scientist and I've been around animals of all sorts since the day I was born. I'm a stay at home mom with my youngest at 11 years old. My entire day is free! If I'm not caring or playing with a four legged friend or two webbed feet I'm not having fun! Safety for your pet is most important. Playtime would be wherever you request whether it be your own backyard, walked on a leash, dog park or inside playtime. Your pet will be treated with the utmost care with lots of fun with the safety of him/her always in mind.
“Jayme is the absolute best ! My boy loved his stay w/ her & her family . She will definitely be our go to pup sitter from here on out . Also I didn’t even have to ask for any updates on him, she kept me posted on everything . Thank you Jayme for caring for my baby, we truly appreciate you so much 💙💙”

“Cierra was awesome - very quick to respond to the request for booking, even though it was very "last minute". She was very friendly and professional and obviously took very good care of our dog while we were away. Cierra kept us updated frequently on our dog throughout the weekend with texts and photos. She was also very flexible with the scheduling. Overall, we HIGHLY recommend Cierra D. and will be calling on her again in the future!!”
“Danielle handled a tough situation with grace and generosity. My dog was having some anxiety in his new environment, and she stuck it out! She sent photos throughout his visit.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
