“I was a bit anxious at first leaving Bubba with a complete stranger, but Scott was great during our meet and greet with him and I knew they would get along fine and Scott would take good care of him. Scott was conscientious about taking notes on how much to feed and when, potty habits, quirks I thought he needed to know. He provided me pictures everyday and I was pleased to see that Bubba got plenty of exercise while I was gone. I definitely plan to use Scott again. Thanks for a great experience.”

“Finn had a wonderful time staying with Kristin- she was very responsive, sent pictures and updates daily, her home is set up well to keep dogs in a safe and fun environment.”

“Dannah was absolutely wonderful! She cared for our two dogs (one puppy ?) for two weeks and never failed to send pictures and keep us updated. She made us feel very comfortable that our pups were taken care of while we were traveling.”

“Sierra and Andrew were wonderful!! Sierra took such good care of our girls, and sent us many daily photos and updates. Our pups had such a blast playing in their yard, and they didn't want to leave when we picked them up! Highly recommend booking with Sierra - they are amazing dog sitters :)”
“Sarah was great at watching our two dogs over Christmas, even our large one with anxiety. She also didn't have a problem keeping them on such short notice. Definitely recommend.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Sandy and how amazing she was with our dog Maceo. Her techniques to make dogs feel comfortable are well educated and are great for all breeds. She is a pro, she has a high priority on safety, her place is very nice, clean, well organized and perfect for pups. Our dog LOVED playing with her very friendly sweet dog Minnie, her dog is submissive and Just the kindest dog that just wants to have fun! Awesome dog and awesome owner :) And the photos and videos she sent us every day, multiple times a day put us st ease, she put our dog first, she is so knowledgeable and kind, we will definable be back, we will recommend her to friends, and would be happy to talk to future clients about our wonderful experience. I would give her 10 stars if the rating system would let me!!! Only very positive things to say about Sandy!!!”

“My pug, Peppermint Pattie, had the BEST time with Jayme!! Jayme sent us pictures and videos each day. Jayme also came to our home to do a meet and greet with us and Pepper. Thank you, Jayme!”

“Robin was great! She took great care of our sweet boy! Our pup had a great time and made lots of friends. She paid special attention to our dogs hip since he’s getting older. We will definitely have our boy stay here again!”

“Charles was a fantastic sitter for my dog Carter during our weekend trip to Waveland, MS. He kept us updated with photos throughout the stay, which gave us peace of mind. Carter got plenty of fresh air with daily walks through Charles’ wooded neighborhood and even a fun outing to the local farmers market. We’ll definitely be booking with Charles again if we come to town.”

“KADIE IS INCREDIBLEEEEEEEE!!!!! We just recently moved to Tampa in the last few months and already had a terrible experience with a new sitter so we did our due diligence for this one and it was very well worth it! She sent amazing photos every single day (some that I honestly want to frame) of all three babies, asked great questions to make sure she had the care instructions correct, made sure to accommodate the comfort of our cat. We will be coming back again and again for trip after trip as long as she'll have us. Thanks so much, Kadie! Figgy is counting down the days until next time, I'm sure. lol”
“Pamela goes above and beyond, my pups love her! She has great communication and always keeps us updated through messages and daily photos. We are so grateful for her attentiveness and care and for Pamela being so accommodating for a last minute request. We look forward to our pups next visit with her 🐾”

“Elen is amazing to work with! She has the calmest, sweetest nature that instantly put both myself and our pup at ease. Our dog loved playing with her dog, received lots of exercise and loving care. We appreciated the pictures and video that she was thoughtful enough to send. When our pick up time was delayed due to bad traffic she was more than accommodating. And her gone and yard are clean, warm and welcoming. Our dog loved his stay. We will be using her again in the future!”

“Danielle did an excellent job with Missy. She stayed in contact with me and answered every text that I sent her about Missy. She sent photos of Missy daily, .the photos helped me to be able to see with my own eyes that Missy was being well cared for. When I came for Missy she was clean, happy and I saw no signs of neglect. Thank you Danielle for your hard work and dedication.”

“Donna was amazing with my girl. I have an older Shiba and they can be particular little dogs. She kept her entertained and comfortable the entire time. Regular picture updates and a very happy dog when I came home. 10/10”

“Angie was truly wonderful! She kept me up to date with so many pictures, I never had to ask, she was on top of it! She took such good care of our fur baby and we felt like we were in good hands! You won’t regret choosing Angie to care and love your fur baby as her own! Thank you Angie!”

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
