“Sandy was absolutely amazing with Cali! She’s our new doggie auntie! She was super fast with communication and sent multiple pictures both morning and night. I cannot recommend her enough! Cali was super comfortable and immediately felt at home with her.”

“Elen is amazing to work with! She has the calmest, sweetest nature that instantly put both myself and our pup at ease. Our dog loved playing with her dog, received lots of exercise and loving care. We appreciated the pictures and video that she was thoughtful enough to send. When our pick up time was delayed due to bad traffic she was more than accommodating. And her gone and yard are clean, warm and welcoming. Our dog loved his stay. We will be using her again in the future!”

“Charles was a fantastic sitter for my dog Carter during our weekend trip to Waveland, MS. He kept us updated with photos throughout the stay, which gave us peace of mind. Carter got plenty of fresh air with daily walks through Charles’ wooded neighborhood and even a fun outing to the local farmers market. We’ll definitely be booking with Charles again if we come to town.”

“Lynsi is my favorite dog sitter and who I use everytime I need my babies watched. Her whole family is amazing!! Definitely recommend her if you want to know your fur babies are in great hands!!”

“Pamela has taken care of Sebastian three times and he has been happy as a clam whenever we pick him up. She is great! Sebastian is a senior dog with medication and needs extra attention so to have someone that has the patience for him is very comforting. We really appreciate her. We will be booking with Pamela until we leave Gulfport!”

About: Pets (and working animals) have always been in my life. Currently I do have dogs of my own and always have. Moved to the city and sure do miss my goats, chickens and most of all my potbellies that couldn't come 😭 My father was an animal scientist and I've been around animals of all sorts since the day I was born. I'm a stay at home mom with my youngest at 11 years old. My entire day is free! If I'm not caring or playing with a four legged friend or two webbed feet I'm not having fun! Safety for your pet is most important. Playtime would be wherever you request whether it be your own backyard, walked on a leash, dog park or inside playtime. Your pet will be treated with the utmost care with lots of fun with the safety of him/her always in mind.
“Lexie was amazing. My furbaby loved her so much, she gained an extra guard dog during his stay with her & her family 🥹! She was very communicative & responsive. Thank you again, Lexie 🐾💕”

“Cierra was fantastic! She sent me daily pictures of Mulata our dog and was very communicative. Very easy going and I highly recommend Cierra. Mulata got a long great with her puppy too so everything was great!”

“Wonderful over all experience! Sierra had excellent communication with me the entire time. She kept me informed on how Max was doing throughout the day and sent lots of pictures.”

“Mylayah was absolutely awesome. She accommodated my schedule without hesitation with being from out of town. My dog Xena loved the stay and was very well cared for. I would recommend Mylayah to anyone visiting or living in the Biloxi area as well as my next visit I will be hiring her again. Thank you.”

“We booked with Lindsey last minute after an unexpected change of plans. Lindsey was so accommodating, she adjusted her schedule to meet our needs! Lindsey treated our lil guy like a Prince. She was very attentive to his needs and habits. Lindsey kept us updated with pics and texts and a doggy report card :). Overall great experience! Lindsey is AWESOME! A true lover of fur babies, for sure! Thanks for being so sweet! We will definitely call on Lindsey for future needs!”

About: I have always had animals in my life. In my past I have raised, trained and shown Dobermans. I have raised Persian cats. I have owned horses, raised quail, raised other game birds, owned a cockatoo (Goffin), kept fish (reef tank), saltwater and freshwater, had a koi pond, raised geckos and chameleons, and currently have a small flock chickens, 3 cats and one Dobie. My dog and cats get along with others. I am comfortable with all kinds. Can keep some in my home or come to yours. I have often pet sit for friends and family and decided to join Rover. I work during the day Monday through Friday until 430. I can come home during lunch or go to your home for a potty break or walk. I walk my own dog in the morning and evening and sometimes a third time before bed. I have a fenced yard and I do regular walks daily. I can look after your furbabies in the evening hours after work and can come in the morning before work, with a visit during lunch break.
“Claudia and family were great, I have a dog that needs a bit of extra attention and they kept me updated daily with pictures. My dog seemed so content with staying or leaving that I’ll definitely be using them in the future. Thank you again so much!”

“Donna was amazing with my girl. I have an older Shiba and they can be particular little dogs. She kept her entertained and comfortable the entire time. Regular picture updates and a very happy dog when I came home. 10/10”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
