I also know how to handle to ones who are harder to give medications. I have worked with many types of dogs. I have learned how to properly tell if a dog is comfortable or nervous. I have worked with many puppies. I am very good with cats. I have 3 of my own. I have worked with many shy cats and know to take my time and to be patience. I am currently work on fear free course for my shelter job but hope to bring that to my sitter jobs. To help make a dog or cat comfortable. I also am familiar with rabbits and guinea pigs. I am also willing to work with any other type of animals that you need caring for. I currently work at my shelter job on Thursday and Fridays. I am a stay at home mom who has a little more flexibility to do two to three drop in visits during the day. The days I work I would only be able to drop in twice a day. When I visit clients pets: ●I will make sure their water dishes are full ●Feed or refill automatic feeders ●Let the dogs outside to be able to stretch and use the bathroom ●Clean litter boxes daily or every other day depending on amount of cats ●Spend time with the animals, from playing to cuddling of animal allows. ●Give medications if needed ●Make sure I count for each animal before I leave.

About: I have worked and been around animals since I was born. I use to work for a reserve rehabilitator and animal shop owner. I have worked with many breeds of cats and dogs and understand each one can be uniquely different. What works for one may not always work for another. I’m retired navy so I have all day to work with your animals. I can do drop ins throughout the day to check on them to let them out or take on a walk. Pretty flexible schedule. In my home I have a 5 year old husky who has been raised around cats and puppies. He is good at helping correct puppies. He has had one litter of his own pups. I do not have a fenced yard, but can take them on leash in the yard and live in a nice neighborhood to walk your animal. If you want crate training I have a couple already here at the house

Once they’re done I will play with them enough to tire them out so they have a nice long nap before I return to visit them again :)
