“Kristi is amazing! I will definitely be asking her to sit for me again. She was extremely friendly and accommodating. My fur babies love her, and she gave me so much peace of mind.”

About: I have many years of experience pet sitting for family, friends, & neighbors. Growing up, I’ve had at least one dog, among other animals. What can I say? I’m an animal lover! I currently have one dog & one bunny, so I am fully aware of all the different accomadations each pet may require. Rest assured, your fur babies, or other pets, will be treated with the same love & care as my own! Currently, I am a student-athlete. I do 90% of my coursework online, making me available quite often! I love getting out & taking the dogs with me for a stroll! I have a large fenced in yard, that is great for playing, & two pups to keep yours company, Monday-Friday. Your pups safety is my number one concern, as I know how much they mean to us! I can accommodate all pet needs, just ask!
“Summer went above and beyond to make sure Louie was comfortable and happy. There’s nothing better than feeling safe knowing your baby will be cared for by someone who loves animals as much as you!!”

About: I have experience caring for my own three dogs, which gave me a strong understanding of daily pet care and responsibility. I handled feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, administering basic medications when needed, and making sure they received plenty of attention and exercise. Caring for multiple dogs also taught me how to recognize different personalities and behaviors, stay patient, and provide a safe, loving environment. I’m committed to treating every dog in my care like they’re my own. I currently work full time as a probation officer, my schedule is flexible. I’m available most weekends and can come over to feed/walk your pets. I can easily follow your rules and how to properly take care of your dogs. I will love and care your pets like they are mine

About: I’ve been looking after my grandmas Doberman and Husky/German Shepherd mix for about two years as well as other friends’ dogs from Golden Retrievers to Cavaliers. My household also has a Doberman and my own Cavalier. I’ve raised 3 of my dog’s Cavalier puppies until about 3 months old. I know my way around big and little dogs, I am athletic and willing to walk for extended periods of time, and I have much experience around animals of all kinds. I work a small job from Tuesdays through Thursdays in the afternoon. Tuesdays I’m not available after 3:00, Wednesdays I work only an hour around 5-6, Thursdays are 6-8. I have a fenced area for when animals need to be taken out. I’m very comfortable crating or keeping dogs out, whatever the client prefers. I’m also very comfortable around big dogs, and have no problem handling any dog that seems too strong or uncontrollable.

About: I’ve had dogs all life and I have taken care of dogs since I was 15. I had and trained 3 dogs all by myself. I’m currently working 3 12s so I have a very flexible schedule. My schedule is different days every other week. When you book with me I will let you know what days I work that week. I will clean all the messes made and make sure your dog is well taken care of like they were my own. I will treat your animals as if they were my own.

About: I've always had pets and I grew up on a dairy farm. I've bottle fed calves and lambs, raised dogs and leash trained them, cared for horses, chickens, almost always had cats, and even kept pet rats! I worked at a dog kennel and groomer at one time briefly, although the environment of a kennel leaves much to be desired as animals kept as pets are best kept in a home environment where possible. My 20 years is just an estimate of collective time with animals really, I am 33 years old. I have commitments to my church every Wednesday and Saturday evening and Sunday mornings. But during the days and even after services I can make time for potty visits or litter care etc. I am courteous of others' belongings and if I am doing a house call I will be diligent to leave things in good order, even in an improved state if possible.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
