About: I have 3 dogs small and large. All super well taken care of and walk atleast a mile everyday. I also groom my own pets every month. I make sure that all my pups and me get our daily exercise together by taking walks or runs. I always plan my schedules for the week around my dogs and the time I need with them. I give them so much love and get all the exercise and energy they need in the day out. They are my number 1 priority

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs ever since I got my puppy at 14 years old. Aside from that, I have taken care of family members animals for weeks at a time! I love animals (dogs especially) and love going on walks with them and playing inside/outside! I will take amazing care of any dog no matter the size or age. I don’t currently work full time so I would be very flexible and easy to communicate with! Working with your schedule specifically would be very easy for me! I don’t have the amenities to care for a dog overnight at my house because I have a small yard. But I would love to care for them at your house, or just go on walks!

About: I've loved taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up I would help around with the neighborhood dogs. I have helped potty train and socialize puppies. I've also learned over the years to help with medication and treatments for dogs. I'm currently working from home so I have all the time possibly needed to spend with the dogs and give them the needed attention and care. I have 2 friendly dog making the house entirely pet friendly full of toys and lots of love to give, as well as a fenced yard and a dog park nearby. We have a baby gate to keep the pups from going into areas where they aren't supposed and if needed I can always use a crate.

About: Animals truly make my day! I’ve had dogs, cats, pigs, horses, cows — basically the whole farm — since I was little, so caring for animals is second nature to me. I’m currently a proud pup mom to a Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix, so I understand high energy, smart breeds, and the importance of structure and love. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like my own — with lots of affection, playtime, and safe, dependable care. Whether your baby needs long walks, belly rubs, or just a calm, reassuring presence, I’m your girl! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to plan my day around walks, drop-ins, feeding schedules, and playtime without feeling rushed. Being home also means pets in my care get plenty of attention, supervision, and consistency throughout the day. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a midday walk, or overnight care, I can easily adjust my schedule to make sure each pet gets the time and love they deserve. I care for pets the same way I care for my own — with structure, attentiveness, and lots of love. In my home, pets receive a safe, clean, and calm environment with supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, walks, feeding on their normal schedule, and plenty of affection. I’m mindful of energy levels and personalities, whether they need extra exercise or a cozy, quiet space. In a client’s home, I prioritize keeping your pet’s routine consistent to reduce stress. I follow feeding instructions carefully, refresh water bowls, provide walks and enrichment, clean up after them, and give updates with photos so you feel connected and confident while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel secure, cared for, and completely at ease.

About: Hi! My name is Lianna and caring for dogs is truly something I love. I have over 5 years of experience fostering and working with dogs, and I’m also comfortable with basic training and handling dogs with different personalities. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes—from tiny 5 lb pups to large 100+ lb dogs—and I’m comfortable with all breeds. Because of my fostering experience, I’m used to reading dog body language and helping dogs feel safe, calm, and comfortable in new environments. When your dog is with me they will get: • Lots of love and attention • Safe, attentive care • Plenty of playtime and potty breaks • A calm and comfortable environment I treat every dog like they are my own, and my goal is always to make sure both you and your pup feel happy and stress-free while you’re away. Your baby will be in caring and experienced hands with me! Since we recently moved here for my husband’s military assignment, I’m currently home full-time, which allows me to give dogs my full attention throughout the day. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine, and your pup will never feel like they’re being squeezed in between other commitments. I live in a large, dog-friendly two-bedroom apartment with a dog park right downstairs, as well as a large park and walking trail just up the street. This makes it easy to give dogs plenty of exercise, potty breaks, and fresh air. Throughout the day I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playtime, and (with your permission) trips to the dog park so they can burn off energy and have fun. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to provide consistent care, attention, and companionship, making sure your dog feels comfortable and happy while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. With over 5 years of experience fostering and working with dogs of all sizes and breeds, I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and making sure each dog feels calm and secure in a new environment. My home is a clean, calm, and pet-friendly space where dogs can relax and feel at home. I’m attentive about supervision, safe walks, and proper introductions with other dogs if we visit the dog park. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully—whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, training routines, or special needs. I also believe communication is important, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident and relaxed knowing your pup is in good hands.

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
