About: What sets me apart is that I really take the time to get to know each pet and their individual personality. I know that every dog has different needs, routines, and comfort levels, so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Whether your pup is energetic and loves long walks, a little shy and needs time to warm up, or simply wants some extra attention and cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs of different ages and energy levels and understand that puppies and senior dogs may need a little extra patience and attention. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own and keep you updated so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 🐾💕 I have lots of availability throughout the week to care for pets and can be flexible with different schedules and routines. I’m able to make plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, and giving each pet the attention and care they need. I enjoy spending time with animals and would love to make pet care a regular part of my week! 🐾💕 I take great care of my own dog at home, so I understand how important it is to make sure pets are happy, comfortable, safe, and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I’ll give them plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, fresh water, and any meals or treats they’re supposed to have. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you leave for your pet and will take the time to get to know their personality and needs. I’ll also make sure everything is clean and secure before I leave and keep you updated on how your pet is doing. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. 🐾💕

About: What sets me apart is the level of attention and experience I bring to every dog I care for. I don’t have pets of my own right now, which means your pup gets my full, undivided focus. I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and my family fostered French and English Bulldogs growing up, so I’m very familiar with breeds that need extra care and medical attention. Whether your dog needs medication, a little extra patience, or just tons of cuddles, I’m here to make their stay safe, comfortable, and full of love. My schedule is very pet‑friendly. I’m currently attending college, and during the fall semester I’ll be in class full‑time on Mondays and Wednesdays, and for half a day on Fridays. Outside of those class times, I’m home the majority of the day and able to give your pet plenty of attention, supervision, and affection. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends, I’m generally around most of the day as well. I do step out occasionally for errands or a gym class, but I’m still home far more often than not, making my schedule great for dogs who enjoy company and a consistent routine. I care for pets in a calm, clean 2‑bedroom apartment where they get my full attention. I live alone and don’t have pets of my own right now, so your dog gets all the love, supervision, and cuddles they want. My home has easy access to outdoor areas and a walking pathway, making potty breaks and sunshine time simple and enjoyable. I follow your routines closely, and since I’m only away for a short class each day, pets are rarely left alone.

About: Hi! My name is Aiden, and I’ve been caring for dogs for about 7 years now. I started pet sitting and dog walking when I was around 12 years old, and over the years I’ve gained experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I regularly care for my cousin’s dog, Scout, whenever they go out of town, and I also frequently watch Raya, one of my family friends’ dogs, during vacations and trips. Because of this, I’m very familiar with overnight care, keeping dogs comfortable in a home environment, maintaining routines, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I’ve also spent summers walking dogs for families in my area, which helped me become comfortable handling different personalities, sticking to feeding and walking schedules, and making sure every dog gets the attention and exercise they need. I’ve had a dog of my own as well, so I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I truly love animals and treat every dog like they’re part of the family. I currently have a very open and flexible schedule, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, daytime care, and overnight stays in your home. I do work a part-time job, but my shifts are typically only around 6 hours during the day. Outside of that, I’m fully available to spend time with your pets and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and keeping your pet’s routine as normal as possible. I also make communication a priority and will happily send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands! I always make it a priority to keep pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free while caring for them in their home. I understand how important routines are for animals, so I do my best to follow your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and bedtime to help them feel secure while you’re away. I’m very respectful of both your home and your pet’s space, and I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure to keep your pet safe at all times. I also pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and needs so they receive the right level of care, attention, and exercise. My goal is to create a calm, loving, and trustworthy environment where both you and your pet feel completely comfortable and confident while you’re away.

About: Animals truly make my day! I’ve had dogs, cats, pigs, horses, cows — basically the whole farm — since I was little, so caring for animals is second nature to me. I’m currently a proud pup mom to a Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix, so I understand high energy, smart breeds, and the importance of structure and love. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like my own — with lots of affection, playtime, and safe, dependable care. Whether your baby needs long walks, belly rubs, or just a calm, reassuring presence, I’m your girl! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to plan my day around walks, drop-ins, feeding schedules, and playtime without feeling rushed. Being home also means pets in my care get plenty of attention, supervision, and consistency throughout the day. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a midday walk, or overnight care, I can easily adjust my schedule to make sure each pet gets the time and love they deserve. I care for pets the same way I care for my own — with structure, attentiveness, and lots of love. In my home, pets receive a safe, clean, and calm environment with supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, walks, feeding on their normal schedule, and plenty of affection. I’m mindful of energy levels and personalities, whether they need extra exercise or a cozy, quiet space. In a client’s home, I prioritize keeping your pet’s routine consistent to reduce stress. I follow feeding instructions carefully, refresh water bowls, provide walks and enrichment, clean up after them, and give updates with photos so you feel connected and confident while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel secure, cared for, and completely at ease.

About: I am an animal lover who has had dogs and cats my whole life. Currently, I have 1 large pup and a cat and I enjoy those floofs with all my heart. I am a very active person and I work from home, so your loved one would not be left unattended for very long, if at all during their stay. I'm currently working part time, so I have plenty of time in my schedule to love on your fur babies. I enjoy all animals, even fish and birds! I have a large single family home with a fenced yard and regular host doggy play dates with my Belgian Malinois, Hugo. I also have a large park nearby that is walkable.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
