Tara was extremely flexible with our changing schedule and ensured she gave extra attention to our kiddos when she came over and provided thorough report cards lol. We even found a box of treats that she had brought over for the pups! I felt confident about everything and didn’t worry about anything at all. Thank you, Tara!”

About: I’m the go to sitter in my family. I’ve had dogs in the past but due to age they had to put them down. 😭 Due to my husband’s illness it’s no longer ideal for us to have dogs of our own. I love hanging out with dogs, even the hyper ones like my fur-nephew . I am very familiar with weekend long “drop-in’s” walking schedules, feeding and Disbursing of medicine. I’ve not had to give shots, but would be willing to learn if needed. I work during the weekdays but I am available until 8am, then an hour around 2:30 and after 5pm. Weekends I’m usually home. Will keep calendar updated. I live in the city but have a decent yard for the downtown area and it’s a fenced space! I also live near a park, and the river greenway and enjoy walks.

“Leah and Clint are AMAZING!! They take such good care of our baby girl and are very attentive! They sent updated everyday to let me know what was going on. HIGHLY recommend!!”

About: I, Carter and my mother Mindy, have been pet owners our entire lives. We have experience with young, adult, and senior dogs. Along with experience in administering certain types of medications, and our house is blind dog friendly thanks to indoor gates and a fenced in and safe backyard. We’ve recently lost our last dog and don’t plan to get another animal companion, but we love to help people care for their furry companions temporarily as a way to give back to the same people who did such for us when we were pet owners. Mindy works from home and loves to work outside in her garden, which would mean a lot of outside time for your pet in our fenced in backyard. Carter is around more in the mornings and nights meaning if your animal is a “night owl” they shall still be cared for round the clock. We have a designated area for food and water in our house, along with many toys and bones from throughout the years. We are in a very safe neighborhood with a fenced in backyard and lots of room to run. Any animals living with us will always be treated with kindness and a sense of belonging no matter the duration of their stay!

I can come to your house if your animal(s) is/are nervous or gets anxious easily or even if they simply prefer home or their usual walking route. I will care for them and can do any tasks needed to fulfill your pet's needs!
About: A home away from home for your pet children. Think of it as "GrandMa & Paws Paws" Bed & Breakfast. I've been blessed to retire early after an extensive career in different areas, one being prior work experience in the pet industry. I had plenty of experience with veterinarian offices throughout NE Indiana. But, the favorite titles I wear proudly are mom and dog mom and wife to my husband. Throughout the years I've had my heart full of animals -dogs being my speciality and of all sizes, breeds and characteristics. I am dependable, reliable and honest. And I’m easy to communicate with. I have been blessed to retire early after an extensive career in different areas, one being prior work in the pet care industry with plenty of trainings with several veterinarian clinics throughout NE Indiana. Your pet kid will be monitored 24/7 inside my home and outside of my home. As I do this with my own pet children. Throughout the years I've had my heart full of animals - dogs being my speciality of all sizes and breeds. While, also having some of the best cats in the mix of my dogs I care for them with all my background knowledge I've learned over the years of caring for and loving my dog babies. My home is always nice and tidy and so is my backyard. I keep their environment very tidy. I have a fenced in yard. My two dogs are never unsupervised during rain, snow or heat. I guess you would call me a helicopter pet parent. I do have nice kennels with bedding.

About: We are new to Rover, and ready to meet your furry family member! I’ve spent my life around dogs and had the privilege of raising my own from puppyhood to his senior years — 14 amazing years together. While I’m not looking to bring a new dog into my home full-time right now, I still genuinely enjoy being around them. I tailor care to each dog’s needs and personality. Whether your pup is full of energy or prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to match their rhythm — from active walks to quiet downtime. My husband and I work full-time, and we work together to care for your dog during early afternoons through the evenings on weekdays, as well as full days on weekends. We team up to provide consistent, loving attention for your dog. Safety and trust mean a lot to us. Our girls have grown up around dogs and always show so much love and care — they’ll stop every dog we see just to say hi, give hugs, and plenty of belly rubs. We have a fenced yard where dogs can safely play, and no other dogs in our home, so your pup will have plenty of space and attention. We always follow the owner’s instructions to keep up with their usual routine — activity, meals, naps, and all — to make sure your dog feels comfortable and at home. We know dogs need both chill time and playtime, so we make sure there’s plenty of space to relax and feel comfortable, plus lots of chances to get active and use their energy. As a family, we work together to give your dog the best care possible, treating them like one of our own.

About: Let me treat your fur baby as you do your own. Leaving your pet behind can be stressful for you and your dog. Let me ease that experience by pampering your pup and treat them like family! I have a very comfortable home and do not take more than one client at a time so your pup will receive my full attention. Please feel free to let me know if there is anything I can do (routines etc) with your pet so I can make the experience extra special.:) Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have a very open and flexible schedule! I’m available for daytime walks, drop-ins, overnights, and weekend boarding. I love being able to devote my time and energy to making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. A typical day includes plenty of playtime, outdoor walks, cuddle sessions, and enrichment activities like puzzle toys or training games (if your pet enjoys those!). I tailor every day to your pet’s energy level—whether that means a relaxing day with naps or a more active one filled with fetch and adventures.
