“Amanda is an amazing pet sitter! She was friendly, reliable, and very flexible with her visiting schedule when it came to the care of my fur babies. I have two cats, one of which required a strict feeding schedule due to being overweight. While I was on an extended business trip, Amanda promptly came to the house three times a day to feed my chubby fur ball while making sure my other cat did not eat the “diet food”. She cleaned the litter boxes and kept my kitties entertained with play time. Amanda sent me photo and video updates of my cats each visit so that I knew they were being well cared for, too. I have referred her to my close friends for dog watching/walking and they have said she is just as great working with their dogs! I will definitely be asking her to pet sit again for me in the future!”

From the very beginning, she was reassuring, communicative, and genuinely caring. Knowing she has dogs of her own gave us that extra peace of mind—she’s a true dog lover, and it shows. We felt confident she would treat our pups like her own, and she absolutely did. She kept us in the loop daily with updates and gave us a heads-up on any schedule changes. One moment that really showed her dedication: I forgot to leave her a key (oops!), and she kindly waited while I rushed home from work—no complaints, just understanding and kindness. Lyric made sure both of our dogs got the attention they needed—whether it was high-energy play for one or gentle bonding time for the other. One of our boys takes a while to warm up to people, but her patience and gentle nature won him over. Now, he lights up every week when she visits! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. About: Forever a dog person! Grew up with all animals from dogs, cats, reptiles, and rodents! Grew up in Seguin on a ranch and have loved animals with a desire to care for each one’s specific needs. I also supported my past girlfriends Rover experience throughout the pandemic. If she was away, I would also care for pets in our home so I’m acclimated to many kinds of pets in my home! Depending on your pets age, needs, and required attention I’m very flexible when it comes to stepping away from my main responsibilities to care for pets. I do micromanage time based on your pets schedule. As a full time work from home employee I’m able to make on demand adjustments. If your pet had a unique schedule, I’ll be happy to match those requirements! My home: my apartment is very spacious. I allow most pets the freedom to roam and play to their desire. My current pet, Yuuki is a 8 year old who is shy at first, but does enjoy being social as well. Puppies can be crated (based on family suggestion). If a pet is reactionary or has trouble sharing spaces with my pet - a further discussion and potential meet and greet is highly recommended. Your home: As a WFH worker I’m able to take my work with me wherever I can. I can stay at your home or make frequent visits between mine and yours. I can follow clear and concise instructions on how you would like for me to care for your pet and home.
