“Absolutely went above and beyond to make sure my pet was comfortable and had a wonderful time while I was away for the weekend. I appreciated all the photo and video updates as well.”

“Grace was amazing. She came to meet me and Priya before my vacation, coordinated with another friend to be there when Priya was getting dropped off, was super responsive, and sent a ton of pictures. I'm confident Priya has a great time while I was out of town!!”

“Nora was absolutely fantastic! She stayed in our home for a week and took care of both our pup and home so well. We had a lot of specific requests and she went above and beyond meeting all of them. She was incredibly trustworthy and caring. She communicated frequently and sent lots of good update pics of our pup. I hope she will stay with our pup again in the future! If Nora is available, book her quick!”

“Lisa was an amazing dog sitter and house sitter! She gave us daily updates and photos of our doggo. Seeing that she was with Fonsi throughout the day, playing and snuggling, put our hearts at ease while we were traveling. During the two weeks that we were gone Lisa helped water our plants and even called the city when there was an unexpected sewer problem. She really put her heart into caring for our doggy and our home. We were super lucky to have found her and will definitely be using her again!”

“AnnMarie is a kind and caring sitter. Whether she’s walking our dog, or doing overnight stays with our pets, she’s uber-reliable, easy to work with and our pets love her. We just returned from an overnight trip and our pets were calm and happy; and our home was immaculate. You can trust AnnMarie. She’s great”

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. If you ever need in-my-home care in the future (pending landlord approval!), my goal would be to provide a cozy, stress-free space that’s clean, safe, and set up to meet your pet’s unique needs.

“Dylan is reliable, friendly and has a great rapport with all our pets, both feline and canine. They give loving attention to all, and we come home to a relaxed, unstressed crew.”

“Celeste took absolutely fantastic care of my dog and cat, sent lots of pictures and updates. Rate was reasonable and care was top tier. My house looked the same or better as I left it and I will definitely try to book Celeste next time I need pet/house sitting. Highly highly recommended!”

“Lindsey was wonderful!! She provided consistent updates on our fur babies and went above and beyond for us especially because Chewie developed some big hot spots right before our trip and Lindsey provided extra care for him, making sure they were cleaned and applied medication. She also gave Chewie a nice bath and groomed him when we got home and he was a nice clean handsome boy.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for around nine years, I have experience with walking, feeding, keeping an eye on, and generally caring for pets. I have experience working with small puppies and large dogs. At the moment, I work part time in town and will have plenty availability to care for your pets. Usually I work about one day on the weekend so I will be available at all other times. At my home, I have experience handling my two standard poodles in a small enclosed backyard, I would be comfortable taking care of your dog in an enclosed environment or while on a leash.

“David’s great ! Dependable and good communication. He has a fair rate and took very good care of our needy dogs ! We have two seniors that follow a strict separation protocol due to intrahousehold aggression. David gave equal time and love to both keeps and kept them safe from one another. They also both have some medication and David followed it all to a T. Would highly recommend !”

About: Hey! Glad to see you here! My name is Morgan, and while I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to animal care. You can see my past experience on the IG account I’m currently building @morgansnugglesyourdog 🐾 If you want someone who aims to understand your pets, respects their routines, is intentional, and takes a thoughtful, behavior-focused approach to care — welcome! I’m a calm, capable sitter who tailors care to your pet’s unique needs, energy level, and emotional comfort. Whether your dog is a mellow senior, a wild child in training, or just your average well-behaved snugglebug, I offer structure, enrichment, affection, and the kind of consistency pets thrive on. I believe all animals deserve to be heard and deserve intentional care and structure. ❌ Things I don’t do: • Dog parks • Chaotic group situations • Handing out treats “just because” • Pushing past an animal’s comfort zone • Ignoring or minimizing behavioral needs ✅ Things I do: • Personalized, temperament-based care • Adventures (if your pet is up for it!) • Daily enrichment and mental stimulation • Intentional structure and calm routines • Respecting your pet’s boundaries and setting healthy ones • All the snuggles (when invited!) I also have hands-on experience with cats, small animals (like guinea pigs and rats), reptiles, and even farm animals like pigs and ducks. If it has paws, claws, hooves, or scales — chances are, I’ve cared for it. When it’s a good fit, I love incorporating dogs into my daily life — whether that’s a nature walk, a car ride to town, or just relaxing outside. But I never take dogs to dog parks or chaotic spaces. If something feels too stimulating or simply isn’t right for your pet, we skip it — no pressure, no push. And if your pup is the stay-home-and-cuddle type? That works for me too. I always ask about behavior, routines, and preferences ahead of time and spend the first day or two getting a read on what your pet is capable of and comfortable with. My goal is to help every animal feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for in a way that honors who they are. I work from home full time! I have several clients but the type of work allows me to be extremely flexible for your pets! I know while some pets can just hang out while I work, others may need more care, enrichment or a closer eye - I can and will accommodate accordingly. Just let me know what your pet needs ❤️ When sitting at your home I prefer to stick to the spaces your pets are most comfortable in or used to as well as stick to a similar routine. I find this helps with separation anxiety and any confusion the pets may have since their favorite human is gone! If possible, I like to take dogs for a longer walk on the first day to help us bond and help me learn how they behave. For other pets, this may look more like a longer playtime, enrichment activity, etc. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible with me in their space so that first day is important to me!

About: I'm well-versed in litterboxes, cleaning up messes and throw up, interacting with hyper active animals until they wear themselves out, and gaining the trust of skittish animals. I work with kids, I find pets are much easier. I'm a full time student at UCSC and a runner which is perfect because I can study while petting a cat or take your hyperactive dog for a fun run. I'm also a lifeguard during the summers so I'm well versed with the beach and the sea and for the dogs who like to swim or paddleboard, I can show them an amazing day. I make sure the home is as clean if not cleaner than when I got there. I make sure to gain a pets trust before anything else, prioritizing eye contact and belly rubs. I'm very adaptable and can work with older and young, hyper animals.

About: i've grown up surrounded by animals, and always had a knack for taking care of them. i've worked with everything from a service dog in training to grumpy senior cats, and loved all of it. there's no odd request (like doing a dance before dinner), unique problems (like wobbly cats), or basic challenges i can't handle. i'll treat your pets like my own im currently a full time student which give me tons of flexibility in scheduling. generally speaking im available ever weekday after noon but if needed i can always make time for your furry friend! I have a passion for dog training so i would love to work with your pup on whatever you would like. i can also do some light house cleaning if you want!
