About: Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, and even horses. Growing up in a home where animals were part of everyday life (my dad worked in horse racing!), caring for pets has always come naturally. Though I’m new to professional dog walking, I’ve been a dedicated dog dad for over 20 years, always having two dogs by my side. I walk my own pups every day and make all of their food from scratch—yes, they’re very loved (and very spoiled!). I’ve also regularly pet sat for friends and family and am confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I used to have a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix, so handling large or giant breeds is second nature to me. Whether you’ve got a gentle giant or a feisty little pup, I’ll treat them like one of my own—with love, patience, and lots of behind-the-ear scritchins! Let me help your dog get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and always happy to customize walks to your dog’s needs and energy level. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! My schedule varies a bit from day to day, but it’s consistent from week to week. I work some mornings and some evenings, but those shifts rarely change, so when you and your pup love me, it will be easy enough to work out a schedule that works for everyone! I am always off on Fridays and Sundays. I do not offer boarding in my own home, but I am always happy drop in to your place for play or potty breaks. Also, as my pups are cared for when I’m not around, I am also available to stay at your home for short trips!

About: Having been raised around dogs and cats my entire childhood, as well as raising my own pets since adulthood, I am more than excited to take care of yours! I am wide open during summertime, but work school hours during the school year. I have open availability on the weekends and after school for both overnights and walks. During the day, I would be able to take your pup out in the am, at lunch and afterschool. My friends joke that my dog is my fourth child and they are definitely correct. I believe in routines first, of course, but also letting a dog guide you as the day goes on.

“Ella is an exceptional dogsitter & person, and that was evident within mere hours of meeting her! Ella came over to get to know my dogs before a couple weekday walks and it was clear that she is a true dog lover at heart. I have one dog who is a total lover and another who’s a bit moody, but she was able to connect with both of them right away. She was attentive, kind, and I could tell she really cared about doing a great job and providing the best possible care for my pets. When I left town a few days later, I reached out to her in a panic when I needed someone local to come help out with an issue unrelated to dogsitting. She had yet to even complete our first booking, but since I knew she lived nearby I texted her in a last ditch effort. She responded instantly and literally saved the day by stepping in to help out when she absolutely did not need to. She was gracious and kind, and I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without her! Since then, she’s created a close bond with both my pets and become a household name we speak of fondly. She goes above and beyond in everything she does and I feel so lucky to have found her.”

About: I live in Mill Valley and have two dogs of my own— both are pity type mixes that were rescued. I know what it means to take good care of beloved pets. I have many years of experience, both dog sitting and housesitting. I love taking dogs for walks and hikes and spend quite a bit of time with my own dogs up on Mount Tam. I’m currently not working so I have lots of available time for dog walks, sitting and house sitting. I do not do group dog walking so your dog will get the best one on one attention. I’m happy to support special needs as well. I prefer to take care of dogs in their own home as I find this is most comfortable for them. I like to deeply understand the owners preferences and needs so that I can make sure the dogs are happy.
