Her Boston Terrier plays very nicely with others. Our Lab got lots of love and attention from Sophie, including regular walks in the low-traffic neighborhood near Dominican U. It is abundantly clear that Sophie, an energetic college student trying to earn some money on Rover, could not be more motivated to take phenomenal care of your cherished companion. “We are SO grateful we found Luna! Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). Communication was flawless, kind, and reassuring the whole time. We felt completely at ease, which is priceless. About: I've loved being around animals for as long as I can remember. Since middle school, I've helped take care of dogs by walking them, bathing them, feeding them, playing with them, and giving them lots of attention. Being around pets has always been something I enjoy, and I treat every animal like they're my own. If you're looking for a personalized boarding experience where your pet gets excellent care and comes back as happy-tired as after a full day at the dog park, I’m your gal. I love taking dogs on hikes near Mount Tam and to the beach when we're on our turf and I firmly believe in the importance of treats and scratchies. I live in an apartment by a dog-friendly beach so we’ll definitely be playing at the playa. I follow your rules so your pet has the same high caliber of care here as at their home. I offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times from 8 am to 8 pm. I take my pup on a daily walk and play with him pretty much constantly whenever he’s not snoozing. Please keep in mind, I only board pups over a year old and cannot board dogs who are not fully potty trained or who need to be taken out more frequently than every 3 hours to potty. I like to follow the rules you've established for your pets - if they aren't allowed on furniture, I’ll make sure that stays. If they are, they're welcome to snuggle on the couch with us. I work from home and take my dog to the beach daily as well as on frequent walks and hikes. We are pretty flexible around here! In my home, we follow your rules. Potato is used to snuggling on rye couch during movie night and on the bed overnight. We welcome snuggle buddies! I am home most of the day working so pets get LOTS of attention and love.

I have fostered for years with Marin Humane and Milo as well as professionally pet sitting through Trusted House Sitters and Home Exchange in addition to Rover. My home is warm, safe, child and animal friendly. My yard is fenced and my children (ages 8 and 14) love share in the caring of animals. We all care deeply about animals and will give yours all the love they need. We would love to have your dogs join our pack for awhile! I am an educator and off for the summer. I have plenty of time to care for your pets along with my own. My kids and I stay local and have adventures and relaxing downtime all summer long. I have a large, fenced yard that includes hill side. My house is warm, cozy, pet and kid friendly. My dogs sleep on my bed and I'm fine if yours want to also. We love neighborhood walks and throwing balls in the backyard.

About: I've loved being around animals for as long as I can remember. Since middle school, I've helped take care of dogs by walking them, bathing them, feeding them, playing with them, and giving them lots of attention. Being around pets has always been something I enjoy, and I treat every animal like they're my own. Right now I live with two dogs, Taco and Balu, so taking care of dogs is part of my everyday routine. I know every dog has their own personality and needs, and I always try to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their family is away. Pet care fits very well into my routine. I’m currently unemployed because the restaurant I worked at unexpectedly closed, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets the attention and care they deserve. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’m able to be fully present and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Whether I'm caring for a pet in my home or in a client's home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I always follow the owner's instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific routines. I know that pets are happiest when they can stick to what they're used to. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and fresh water throughout the day. I'll treat your home with respect and keep it clean while you're away. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy and well cared for, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands.

“Julie and Adam are truly dog lovers who helped our Mollie tremendously with her anxiety issues. Mollie is a rescue pup who takes time to warm up to new people and surroundings, but Julie and Adam did a great job making her comfortable and engaging Mollie in activities. Mollie is a half Husky so she does need lots of exercise and activity. We will be having Molly stay again with Julie and Adam as when we picked her up we could tell that Molly felt very much at home!”

Kara was prompt and responsive in setting up a meet & greet where she got to talk with us and get to know Petunia a little bit. We were nervous as it was our first time leaving her, but she warmed up to Kara, Val and their adorable daughter Mae quite quickly! Kara was great about sending updates and photos and made us feel secure, at ease and able to enjoy our time away. Cannot recommend them enough 🐶😁”
