About: I grew up having a yellow lab and a chocolate lab. My mom used to breed yellow labs and I would help care for them. I bought myself a “covid” puppy. He turned two in September and is my best friend. He loves to play with his ball and other doggos. I take care of my sisters dog as well as my dads dogs when they are out of town. I’m an early childhood special education teacher, my availability right now is weekends only. I may be able to do some drop in visits after 4pm if needed. I have a big fenced in back yard. I can walk your dog if you would like. Pretty flexible and willing to do whatever you request.
About: I’m here to help make sure your pet(s) are cared for when you have a busy day or week. Can’t take your furry friend on vacation? No problem! I can help you out :) If your pet has special requirements, just let me know & I will make sure they feel supported. I have been caring for animals since I can remember... and in the past 15 years started caring for the pets of family, friends, and clients. I have experience with both large and small breeds. Caring for pets fits well with my lifestyle; I enjoy taking pups for walks outside. It’s also a fun break in the day to drop in for a care visit & give your pets some time and attention. When house sitting, I like to make sure your pet gets exercise earlier in the day. This helps improve their mood, appetite, and overall behavior while their usual human is away. We’ll stick to the house rules like mealtimes & furniture preferences, but I mighttt sneak an extra treat in here and there (unless you request I refrain from spoiling.)
“Reliable, punctual, and professional. My dog returned calm and content after each walk, and I appreciated the clear communication and updates. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a trustworthy and attentive dog walker.”

About: I've looked after pets of all kinds including, cats, dogs, pigs, chickens and ducks to name a few. I have a good 7.5 years of experience under my belt and I have a high attention to detail to make sure that your fuzzy member of the family is getting top quality care. I am available Saturday through Tuesday, as those are my current days off. A typical day with your pet would include walks as many times a day as necessary, meals whenever they are typically had and plenty of play and relaxation throughout the day. If I have a meeting/appointment or need to leave the house for a bit, your pet won't be left alone for more than four hours. When I come to stay with your pet, I'll make it seem as though you never left. I'll do my absolute best to ensure they can continue their daily routines as they always do without skipping a beat. They will receive all the love and care I can muster, including snuggles and hugs a plenty. Making sure they are fed and clean so you can come home to a healthy pet.

I thought this would be a great way to start. I love pets and am willing to extend that love to others pets. Please make sure that your dogs get along with other dogs. As you know I have one small dog. I do not cage dogs unless the client wants their pet crated. All dogs and cats sleep inside. My home is very clean so I am constantly cleaning after the pets. I am currently working from home, so I am home all day to take care of your fur babies and I will take them out every two-three hours. About: I am an animal lover that has been pet sitting for years. Through experience with my own pup and other animals, I have learned how to make pets feel loved, happy, and comfortable. I have spent over 200 hours volunteering with dogs and cats in the animal shelter as well as a veterinary internship where I learned the medical side of pet care. I have also taken my dog through various training courses with Canine Connection and other organizations. I would love to hangout with your animals and care for them as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routing because I have a very flexible schedule and love spending time with animals. I plan my days to make sure pets get the exercise, attention, and love they need. I live in an apartment and only offer care in my clients home. This often helps the animal feel more comfortable as their environment does not change from what they are used to.

About: I’ve cared for seniors, puppies, post surgeries, mischievous kitties and extra needy pets of all kinds ☺️ years of working with horses, living with my anxious chihuahua mix, and helping to raise the chunky pitties in my life has prepared me for almost every situation. I’ll keep a cool head and stick to your instructions while showering lots of love on your furry family member. I grew up around cats, dogs, horses, and birds! My love for animals knows no bounds, and I’m always the one getting distracted by a cute dog on the sidewalk (or TikTok). I’ve had great experiences booking care for my own dog through Rover, and I understand how hard it can be to find and trust the right person when we have to be away from them! My hope is that we can work together and create the best plan for keeping your furry kids happy and safe. I keep communication open and often so that we are all comfortable and on the same page. I pay attention and meet your pet where they’re at so we can build our own trusting and loving bond. I work remotely from home, so I can be flexible to meet your needs. My partner and I work together to ensure our own dogs are cared for, comfortable, and get lots of sniffing time outside. I’d love to speak with you about the best way to accommodate your schedule. I prefer to meet with you and your pet before scheduling a service to ensure that everyone is comfortable. I like to take the opportunity to ask any clarifying questions and walk through expectations so that there are no gray areas about the best ways to care for your pet and keep them safe.

About: About Me Hi! My name is Jalyssa, and I’m a 19-year-old Animal Science major currently in college with a huge passion for animal care and wellbeing. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages. I’ve had my own dog for 15 years, where I was actively involved in daily care, training, feeding, walking, grooming, and making sure all of their needs were met. Along with caring for my own pets, I also have experience pet sitting for others and helping raise puppies and kittens, so I’m comfortable with animals that need extra patience, attention, and routine. As someone studying Animal Science, I genuinely love learning about animal health and behavior, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or just someone reliable to keep them company, I’m dedicated to making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. As a college student currently on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m looking for something productive that keeps me busy while also allowing me to do something I genuinely enjoy — spending time with and caring for animals. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I make sure pets are always supervised, kept in a safe environment, and cared for according to their specific routines and needs. I pay close attention during walks, feeding times, playtime, and interactions to ensure your pet stays happy, healthy, and stress-free. I also understand how important communication is, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life. I’ve had a number of pets including small, medium, and large dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. From dog sitting while my parents were on vacation, to helping my girlfriend with pet sitting through Rover, I enjoy caring for dogs and showing them compassion. Animals usually warm up to me quickly. I think it’s the beard. My friends and family call me the animal whisperer, but I just really enjoy caring for animals. I work for the Post Office. I am usually working Monday-Saturday with the average hours being around 5-8 a day. Some days I am off by early afternoon, leaving the day open for me. I have a girlfriend who loves animals as well. She has the weekends off and can be home before most evenings. We take pride in our care.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
