“I’m SO happy to have found Ruben on Rover! I left my pup with Ruben for doggy dare care for 3 days and my shy, introverted, Jack Russell mix was eager to see him each day. She’s typically anxious and afraid when we drop her off with a sitter, but not with Ruben! He has a lovely golden retriever named August, who is the perfect companion for any dog. He also has a fenced in patio where the two dogs enjoyed the sun during the day. Each day, they went on a different adventure for their walk. South point park, the beach, and the dog park. Ruben was extremely responsive, always messaging back within a minute or two, and he even sent reminder texts in the morning, since I had to drop Luna off at 6am. I highly recommend Ruben! We can’t wait to book with him in the future.”

“Emilie provided day care for Jack, our 10-month-old labradoodle while we were on vacation in Fort Lauderdale. Being on vacation, our schedule was somewhat hectic. Emilie was always quick to respond to our requests and was flexible and accommodating with drop-off and pick-up times. -Something we really appreciated. Jack received lots of attention and affection from both Emilie and Jimmie. They have a great back yard where the dogs can run around and play. They took Jack on walks, so he got plenty of exercise when he was with them. Emilie and Jimmie are super nice people, and it is evident they enjoy caring for dogs. -Jack was eager to see them each time we dropped him off. We will definitely contact Emilie for dog care when we are in Fort Lauderdale.”

“My dog was VERY happy staying with Linda. She was so sweet she made arrangements for another 5 pound dog to come for a visit so my energetic puppy could play with someone exactly her size! She noticed my fur baby was hungry and she texted to make sure it was ok to feed her( she’s a picky eater) and even sent food home for her to try again. Since the pandemic, we usually just stay home and he is very attached to me. I needn't have worried. He had a ball with Edith and his new girlfriend, Coco. Edith sent me pictures of them and progress reports during that day. A great weight has been lifted off my shoulders by finding Edith. She instills trust and is very knowledgeable about doggie behavior. Her home is well equipped for taking care of our most beloved members of the family. Although it still may not be too often, I can, now, schedule trips without worry. I thank Edith from the bottom of my heart.”

I always have spare time to walk dogs! I also live in a complex with a lot of outdoor space, so it is ideal for overnight dog boarding. I provide dog walking services and dog boarding in Broward county, and I love to walk and be outdoors, so it is a great fit for me and my everyday life. I keep dogs hydrated and happy during walks. All I want is to make their day, or week, whatever you'll allow me to do, I'm there! I was proud mom to a 16 year old American Staffordshire Terrier, who was a passionate & loyal companion. Trueno passed of old age just before the holidays in 2016. He shared our home with Kimo, a Labrador & American Staffordshire Terrier mix, and Katniss, a Bull Mastiff, Labrador & American Pitbull Terrier mix, for over half of his life. I had all 3 in my home for a bit over 2 years and know exactly what it's like to be owned by these 4 legged lovers! I am honored to be a able to spend time with your loved one & I very much look forward to our friendship! I work part time from home & am flexible with my daily schedule. This helps keep me available to special needs & allows me to take breaks away from work when needed. I have a nice size fenced yard & live on a quiet street where per walking or time outdoors is very peaceful & safe. If per sitting in your home, I will always follow your lead to ensure your pet has all they are accustomed to while you are away.
