About: Hi! I'm Ilaria, originally from Italy and recently moved to Fort Lauderdale with a regular working visa. I'm currently in maternity leave and focused on take care of my family, which gives me the time and flexibility to look after not just my own dog, but also other four-legged friends. I've always grown up surrounded by animals. Over the years, I've had two Dobermans, two French Bulldogs, two cats, a hamster, and several tortoises. I now live with Watson, my friendly and social French Bulldog, who loves meeting new people and pets. I’m responsible, caring, and genuinely passionate about animals. I understand their needs and enjoy spending quality time with them—whether it’s going for walks, playing, or simply offering cuddles and company. Your pet will be in loving and experienced hands with me! Please note: due to my husband’s allergy, I’m unfortunately unable to care for cats. Thank you for your understanding. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I offer pet sitting at my home every day of the week, including weekends. Your pet will never be alone: my husband Gabriele, who will take care of your pet with me, works from home. One of us is always around to provide company and care. We have a designated dog area in our residential complex, which makes potty breaks and playtime easy and convenient. The neighborhood is also ideal for walks—it's very green, quiet, and shaded by trees, making strolls comfortable even on warmer days.

About: I've been looking after dogs and cats for almost everyone I know since I was twelve and I've wanted to be a veterinarian since I was very young. Currently, I'm saving for vet school, but before finding Rover I worked in veterinary offices and boarding kennels where I was responsible for everything from filing medical records and booking appointments to group enrichment and food and medication administration (including subcutaneous fluids). I have also trained dogs professionally (mostly puppies, but some older dogs as well) and fostered for the county shelter. These experiences have made me comfortable with medical and behavioral challenges with animals of any size and I am confident in my ability to care for your fur babies as well as I do mine. Lastly, dietary restrictions excluded of course, don't forget the treats and toys! I am very big on enrichment and positive reinforcement and I'm yet to meet an animal who didn't want a little spoiling. I'm excited to meet you and your pets and hope to foster a long and trusting relationship with both. I am home almost every day that I am not out on Rover jobs. This allows me the flexibility to work with multiple pet families and meet everyone's needs. As all pets are different, I am happy to discuss care plans with pet parents to make sure I can provide what is both needed and wanted, but my schedule is flexible enough to accommodate the vast majority of requests. I do request at least 4 hours notice (including service confirmation) for walks, 2 days notice for drop ins, and a week's notice for house sitting. This is to ensure that I can meet the needs of all clients adequately as well as schedule my non-pet care obligations appropriately. If you are in need of services on shorter notice than the above, I will do my best to accomodate but services will be subject to a 40% upcharge as a rush fee. I am active on Rover throughout the day from about 9am to 8pm (unless I am actively with client animals in which case I remain accessible to said client minus times I am indisposed). I am happy to walk/drop-in on pets several times a day. Administering food and medication during these times is something I am completely comfortable with as I do so for my own animals regularly. Scooping litter boxes is also well within my wheelhouse (though my cat is particularly picky and has a self-scooping one for his comfort). I am used to active/playful dogs and cats as I have one of each myself and I am happy to take some long walks and/or get a good play session going depending on what is most appropriate for the animals in my care. With permission (and the appropriate safety gear) I am also happy to take dogs to their local dog park for socialization and peer play.

About: I grew up in an animal loving household. I have had dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and ferrets. Raised my girl from 8 weeks old and she’ll be turning 9 yrs this year. I was also a foster mom for my local shelter where I provided a safe place for over 15 dogs, puppies, kittens, and cats I work from home, so I can provide multiple walks a day for dogs as well as provide a watchful eye while boarding your baby. My dog is my baby, so the couch and bed is her lounge place. I have a spare bedroom that will be a perfect getaway for your baby. Providing them with their own safe place.
