Tulum is shy with strangers, but he looked happy and comfortable, especially with a toy he borrowed during his stay. Right before pickup, Tulum got a tiny cut from a bush, and the sitter was very straightforward about it and told us immediately when we arrived. About: I've been looking after dogs and cats for almost everyone I know since I was twelve and I've wanted to be a veterinarian since I was very young. Currently, I'm saving for vet school, but before finding Rover I worked in veterinary offices and boarding kennels where I was responsible for everything from filing medical records and booking appointments to group enrichment and food and medication administration (including subcutaneous fluids). I have also trained dogs professionally (mostly puppies, but some older dogs as well) and fostered for the county shelter. These experiences have made me comfortable with medical and behavioral challenges with animals of any size and I am confident in my ability to care for your fur babies as well as I do mine. Lastly, dietary restrictions excluded of course, don't forget the treats and toys! I am very big on enrichment and positive reinforcement and I'm yet to meet an animal who didn't want a little spoiling. I'm excited to meet you and your pets and hope to foster a long and trusting relationship with both. I am home almost every day that I am not out on Rover jobs. This allows me the flexibility to work with multiple pet families and meet everyone's needs. As all pets are different, I am happy to discuss care plans with pet parents to make sure I can provide what is both needed and wanted, but my schedule is flexible enough to accommodate the vast majority of requests. I do request at least 4 hours notice (including service confirmation) for walks, 2 days notice for drop ins, and a week's notice for house sitting. This is to ensure that I can meet the needs of all clients adequately as well as schedule my non-pet care obligations appropriately. If you are in need of services on shorter notice than the above, I will do my best to accomodate but services will be subject to a 40% upcharge as a rush fee. I am active on Rover throughout the day from about 9am to 8pm (unless I am actively with client animals in which case I remain accessible to said client minus times I am indisposed). I am happy to walk/drop-in on pets several times a day. Administering food and medication during these times is something I am completely comfortable with as I do so for my own animals regularly. Scooping litter boxes is also well within my wheelhouse (though my cat is particularly picky and has a self-scooping one for his comfort). I am used to active/playful dogs and cats as I have one of each myself and I am happy to take some long walks and/or get a good play session going depending on what is most appropriate for the animals in my care. With permission (and the appropriate safety gear) I am also happy to take dogs to their local dog park for socialization and peer play.

“We had a great experience with Gregory. He was friendly and showed us where Tulum would be staying, which helped us feel comfortable leaving him there. He was also very communicative throughout the stay and sent us pictures, which we really appreciated. Tulum is shy with strangers, but he looked happy and comfortable, especially with a toy he borrowed during his stay. Right before pickup, Tulum got a tiny cut from a bush, and the sitter was very straightforward about it and told us immediately when we arrived. It looked minor and Tulum seemed totally fine, and we really appreciated his honesty. Overall, we felt Gregory was attentive and thoughtful, we would definitely use him again.”

She constantly sent me photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind and made me feel like I was right there with them. I had a really bad experience with a previous sitter where my dog actually went missing on the first day of babysitting and was gone for 24 hours. 😔 Because of that experience, I was honestly nervous about trusting someone with my puppy again. But Maria completely changed that experience for me. She was caring, responsible, attentive, and made sure I always knew how my puppy was doing. Her home was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and she was so friendly and welcoming. “I went out of town for about 12 days and used Rover for the first time to board my 2 cats since it was too long to leave them alone. I found Kristi to be a very understanding person despite some mishaps with the dropoff timing and that one of the cats peed on the bed 2 days after the dropoff, likely due to being scared of the new surroundings. Kristi did a great job with adapting to difficulties with the cats like putting gates on the bed. I picked up my cats and they were in great condition. I would definitely board my cats with Kristi again.”

“Antonio looked after our Shiba Inu for 10 days and from the initial meet and greet to collecting our boy today, the experience has been amazing. Antonio is super friendly and professional. “Judy and her family are so nice! She sent us so many pictures of our dogs and kept us updated daily. She was so sweet and loving to our dogs. She sent them home with new toys which was such a sweet gesture. You could tell the puppies loved her and her family and they had a great time with them. I highly recommend her!”

“Jennifer was fantastic! I had a last minute work trip come up and needed someone to watch my buddy on short notice. Jennifer was very responsive and easy to work with; friendly yet efficient in all interactions. We arranged a quick meet and greet to make sure my dog and he dog got along and everything worked out perfect. You can tell Jennifer loves animals and she has a great little fenced in back yard on a quiet street - perfect if your dog likes to sunbathe or chase lizards. She appears to live an active lifestyle and I had no concerns that my dog would not receive enough exercise/attention. Jennifer sent several updates and pictures throughout and I knew my dog was well cared for. 100% recommend.”
