She was accommodating with our booking last minute (even though I had inquired a week earlier, we were unsure if we were going to leave our Kobe while on vacation or take him with us). Unfortunately, dogs aren't allowed in a lot of areas of hikes in Yosemite, so we decided to just see if Melissa would still be up for taking him in. She was transparent right away with her having two other dogs in her care, which we were fine with. When I dropped Kobe off, she was helpful in doing introductions with each dog she had, and Kobe ended up hitting it off with both of the other dogs right away. She followed the few instructions we had in regards to his eating habits. Other than that, I truly felt comfortable right away and felt she knew what she was doing, so I told her whatever she wanted I'm sure he would be fine with daily activities, sleeping arrangements, etc. She updated me daily with texts, photos, and videos. She spoiled him and he looked like he was having a blast. We will definitely be using Melissa again. Thank you so much, Melissa!!”

Our days revolve around pets, from snuggles in bed with our pup and cats to fun adventures in our spacious yard. We treat every dog like part of our family and would be thrilled to welcome your fur baby into our home. Note: We prefer dogs under 25 pounds but are happy to consider the perfect fit of any size! I’m a retired public school teacher and lifelong animal lover, home most of the day to shower your furry friend with love and attention. Quick errands or a workout? Never more than 2–3 hours away. Your pet will be cared for exactly the way you like—safe, happy, and spoiled with affection. My husband, Frank, a full-time special education teacher, and I can’t wait to welcome your four-legged family member into our warm, loving home. Your pups will be right at home with us, enjoying supervised playtime in the sunshine and plenty of room to romp and explore. They’ll be part of our family during their stay—cuddles, belly rubs, and all! Every dog in our care is treated like one of our own, with love, attention, and plenty of happy tail wags.
