About: I have cared for 6 of my own dogs over the last 24 years, and currently have 4. All pups have full access to our home and are allowed on furniture. I will take care of your pups like they are my own. I am retired therefore have availability most days and timesframes to come to your home to care for your pup/s. I look forward to meeting you and your wiggle butt! During my visit, I look forward to playing with your dog/s, taking walks with them, giving them lots of cuddles along with a treat or 2! We will discuss any other needs that your dog/s may have, including; daily medication, assistance standing up, climbing stairs.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for 27 years and have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. As a nurse and lifelong animal lover, I am attentive, dependable, and comfortable administering medications when needed. I currently have a 4 year old lab mix who is nervous around strangers, but he loves to play with other dogs. My daughter is currently 13 months old, so if your pet will be in my home, all I ask is that they are potty trained and can be good/gentle with kids, for my daughter’s safety. Our dog is an indoor/outdoor dog. He spends most of his time inside, but he likes to play outside in our fenced in yard during the day as long as the weather is good. We have a screened-in porch with a fan for him to rest in while he is outside, too. He is free to go in and out of it as he pleases. Our dog is free-fed, but we are also used to following feeding schedules from caring for our elderly dog who recently passed, as well as my family’s dogs. I provide a safe, supervised, and loving home environment with consistent care and attention. If desired, I can offer daily walks, whether your pets are boarding with me or receiving drop-in visits. I can also play fetch and provide medication administration, as I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Every dog deserves companionship and care. I can ensure they receive plenty of affection, attention, and individualized care from myself, my husband, and my daughter. She is very gentle with animals and absolutely loves interacting with them—it’s truly sweet to watch. I offer flexible care options to accommodate different routines and needs, whether your pet requires simple visits or more structured boarding care.

I treat every pet like they’re my own. I own a dog, two cats, a snake, bearded dragon, leopard gecko, and a betta fish, and that’s after I rehomed 5 animals lol. Caring for so many different animals has made taking care of pets a natural part of my daily routine. 🐾💕 I do not have a fenced-in backyard, so I wouldn’t have a private area to let your dog out, but we can always go somewhere public or use your yard if your home offers one. I also have a crate available if needed! I care for every animal with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pets. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets are comfortable, safe, fed, exercised, and given plenty of love and attention while sticking to their normal routines.

About: I have always been around a lot of dogs, cats, horses, chickens you name it, growing up on a farm gave me much discipline needed for pet care. My schedule is open! I am a student at UTC and have classes during the week 9-5ish but free in evenings and on weekends. About: I used to volunteer at a local animal shelter. I took a course on animal handling, how to decrease frustration, anxiety and stress (FAS) for animals in the shelter, body language, how emotional health impacts an animal’s physical health, etc. I have a certificate in keeping a shelter Fear Free. My family and friends have relied on me in the past to dogsit their fur-babies. I have a large extended family with pets of all kinds, from German Shepard’s, Labradors and Cocker Spaniels, to mixed breeds and Tabby cats. Five of them are shelter rescues and one chihuahua-dashscund. For all of the animals I have taken care of, I came to their home so that the animals remained comfortable. I love all of my fur-babies, and I’m thankful that my family trusts me enough to take care of them while they’re away on vacation. Important Note: If you’re wanting to do more “meet and greets” after the first one in order for your pet to get more comfortable around me, I will be charging the same price as it would be for a drop-in (about $15 depending on the pet care). Another Important Note: I can give oral medication by putting it into their food. I can not, however, give it to the pet straight. My work schedule varies every week. However, I usually work from either 8:30 AM or 10 AM to 4 or 5 PM. I wouldn’t mind discussing the details in-person. My living situation does not allow me to petsit in my own home, however, I am able to petsit in my clients’ homes. When it comes to animals, I am very responsible. I take my job as a pet-sitter very seriously. I am able to give them any medications if needed at certain days and times, walk them, feed them, etc.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
