About: I have had my home base business for over 20 years and I'm looking to try something new. I have been a dog owner my entire life. I currently have 3 small dogs. I have ample time and desire to be a pet/house sitter on Rover. I love all pets, especially dogs and cats. Not a big fan of snakes. Please reach out to me, lets chat. My work is seasonal, meaning I mostly work from Spring to Fall. WIth my season coming to an end, I am looking to branch out and try something new. I have always loved animals so Rover seems like a great fit. I have a lot of free time heading into the winter. I have a 4 wheel drive vehicle so snow and ice wont stop me. I have 3 dogs. One is 13, one is 2 and the baby is 11 months. I also have 2 grown children who live at home. When I am at home working, my dogs are the shop with me. My shop is a 2 car garage and a fenced in yard. They stay outside with me most of the day with 2 breaks for naps in their private room. In the summer, they have a pool and plenty of shade. Their safely and comfort is important to me as is their need for play time, walks and lots of hugs and scratches. I am used to having a puppy around and cleaning up messes. As your pet sitter, I will never bring my dogs along with me. They have a dad at home to take care of them. My schedule is very flexible and I understand the need for help with pets. My seasonal job requires me to travel in the summer and getting pet sitters is sometimes tricky. I guess I should say, getting a trust worthy pet sitter who is going to deliver on her promises can be tricky.
About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and I got my first dog at 16. My dog is a mastiff mix, who was unfortunately a covid puppy, leaving her with little socialisation, causing her to be reactive around other animals. We have both been learning from each other everyday and I have been working with and training her since she was a puppy. Throughout the years she has gotten much more confident in herself; even having dog friends now and a younger puppy sister. I have also worked with senior dogs, adminstering medication as needed and helping assist with activities. I have worked with other animals as well, of all different sizes, so I am confident in my ability to read body language and take care of the dogs as needed I am a full-time college student, who is working part-time, and with a chaotic schedule, finding a job for a business is difficult due to my availibilty. I have several animals of my own, making spending time and taking care of them the highlight of my day. I love and treat animals just as the family they are, so when working with others animals, it feels like more of a reward than a job, which I feel is crucial when being a full-time college student and trying to make a living. “This was my second time having Terry care for my pack, and she is truly amazing. I have two dogs, Cooper and Max, and two cats, Bella and Lucky. Cooper has epilepsy and requires medication and some extra attention, so having someone I completely trust with him is incredibly important to me. Terry sent me videos and quick updates every day to let me know how everyone was doing, with extra attention to how Cooper was doing. Being able to see that everyone was happy and well cared for gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She also pays attention to the little things. When I came home, she had left lights on and music playing for them because she knows that's what I do when I'm away. My hardwood floors looked spotless and shiny, and she even left me a beautiful candle as a gift. It was such a thoughtful way to come home. Most importantly, I came home to four happy, relaxed pets who had clearly received excellent care. Terry is incredibly caring, dependable, thoughtful, and trustworthy. I work from home full time as an Auditor and I have the flexibility to drop in for walks during regular working hours on my lunch break, I am super reliable and readily available! I will respect your home and your pup (as they are your family) and can assist with other duties as needed. I have a BIG soft spot for rescues, I do have experience administering medications to pups. About: I have taken care of dogs, my whole life whether they were my own or somebody else’s I absolutely love animals your animal will always be safe in my care and have the best time. I’m currently a stay at home mom so if I leave the house, I only leave to go to the grocery store or to grab the little one something to eat if they want it I have a huge backyard my house backs up against the woods. We are not close to the road at all. You’re dog would never be let outside alone my kids would run around in the backyard with them 💕
