About: I have grown up with animals my whole life and have absolutely loved everything single animal single animal I’ve met more than anything! I have had neighbors, friends, and family trust me walking and taking care of their pet while they’re gone my whole life. I currently am doing school online, so I am able to make time throughout the day for feeding, playtime, walks, check-ins, and giving pets the attention they need! I care for every pet as if they were my own. In a client’s home, I follow their usual routine and instructions closely, including feeding, playtime, walks, medication if needed, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I also make sure they have a safe, comfortable, and clean environment while they’re in my care. I know every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.
“Kassidy🌸 has been great she took lots of pictures and I know my pup had a good time with her. She showed up on time and kept me informed. Will be setting up future dog walks with her🌼”

“It has been a sound piece of minding knowing my puppy will be walked while I'm gone. Neige has done a spectacular job! She sends pics and locations while walking. And always locks up the house before she leaves. I highly recommend selecting her for your fur babies!”

“Lucas is super friendly, patient, dependable and great with our pups. He takes his time walking them, and goes the extra mile with their care. He gives us great updates and communication. We don’t worry about the pups on work days anymore. :-)”

“Atlas adores Luke. Luke did very well with him on his walks, and even a run at one point. He is dependable and flexible, I couldn't have asked for a better professional dog walker. Thank you so much Luke.”

About: Hi! I’m Gracie and i’m 18 years old. I’m a dependable and caring person who genuinely loves being around animals! I’ve had dogs and have been around dogs ever since I was little! I know every pet is different, and I’m happy to take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel comfortable with me. I’m patient with shy or nervous pets and always want them to feel safe and cared for while their owners are away! I’m happy to follow any instructions you leave for me, whether that means going on walks, playing, giving them lots of attention, or simply keeping them company. My goal is to make your pets feel as happy and comfortable as possible while you’re away! Other than me working on Thursdays, I have a flexible schedule and can make time for pet care throughout the week days. I’m happy to work around each pet’s routine and make sure they get the attention, care, and exercise they need! I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ll follow the owner’s instructions, keep their home clean and secure, and always pay close attention to their pets and surroundings!
About: I have 6+ years of professional pet care experience. I have training in administering medication, bathing, nail trims, and teeth cleaning. I adore all pets and have personally owned dogs, fish, snakes, lizards, frogs, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, and ducks! I have also taken care of cats, parrots/parakeets, and sheep. I have experience taking care of animals ages 8 weeks all the way up to 20 years! I am available 7 out of 7 days of the week! I get how chaotic life can be! That’s why my scheduling times are flexible to meet your and your pets needs. Safety is the top priority! My services and activities will be customized to the outdoor conditions (too hot or too cold = shorter walks outside and more indoor play time). As a pet parent, my house stays pet proof: no loose wires, batteries, sharp objects, etc. I have a 6ft privacy fence and use no chemicals in the yard. I am certified in animal first aid and CPR.
About: I bathe the dogs, water/feed, play/go on walk or running, take them outside to use the bathroom after they get done eating there supper. If they need medicine before or after eating there meal, I can do that because I had to do it with my German Shepherd once. Animals give me pride, joy, and make me feel special inside and stress is gone. Animals should be treated like a family member in your home. Someone will always be home that you meet during the meet n greet to ensure your animals are taken care of. It fits my schedule Tuesday through Friday I work 7:30am to 2pm sometimes done before that. Daughters are at school during the day. I will make sure that fences are shut, doors are shut as well as making sure theres no holes in the fences for them to squeeze through.
“Kayla is wonderful with our Dottie girl! Dottie is so excited to see her. She is a new pup and Kayla is so patient, kind and playful with her! Kayla is incredibly communicative, she is always timely and gives us such peace of mind knowing our Dottie is in great hands! We feel so fortunate to get to work with Kayla!”

About: I’m 23 and I live with my fiancé, Brooke, who is a stay at home mom and will also help provide care for the animals and walk them. I currently have three dogs, Echo, Ryleigh, Graham as well as three cats. I’ve been raised around animals basically my whole life. I do have a fenced in yard and I do walk my own dogs multiple times a day and go on walks. I do also have a few runners and tie ups I can set out. Growing up I had multiple animals, a dog, bearded dragon, leopard gecko, cats and fish of course. I have plenty experience in taking care of and providing care for all types of animals. I only work a couple days out of the week and I'm working on getting a work from home job to have more time at home. I have four dogs at home and they are top priority to me. I love caring for all types of animals, I've grown up around almost every kind of animal and wish I would of taken up a career in the animal field. I am able to take your dogs for walks and you not have to worry about them and of course provide them with all the love they could ever need and want. I'm currently in between jobs so I'm available all day and able to provide care full time. My wife is a stay at home mom and is always home and avlaibalw also. My animals are walked a couple times a day with them being older they don't require bathroom breaks as often but they play outside when they do for 30 minutes to an hour at a time. They get fed at night time and get a mix of dog food as well as rice and chicken when available.
About: I have owned dogs throughout my life and have watched the dogs of friends often! I am experienced in caring for their basic needs, and I enjoy giving them a memorable and fun experience by going to the dog park, engaging in play, or simply chilling on the couch! I also know how to do basic grooming, such as bathing and nail trimming, but not hair trimming. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, and know how to administer medication and am adaptable to any other accommodations they may require. Rover has been a part time gig for me for the past year, but I have found a passion for taking care of Nashville's fuzzy friends and I am looking to devote more time towards accomodating new and returning clients! My schedule is wide open, so I can accomodate prettys much any schedule! When caring for your pets at my home, I am always home to supervise! My dog, Ruby, is a very sweet girl who loves to meet new friends, but I'm very aware that dogs can be fickle, so I am always on the lookout for any concerning behavior for everyone's safety. While I do not have a fenced in yard, I am more than happy to take pups to Two Rivers Dog Park, with permission of course! At your home, I take the time to become familiar with your animal's preferences, and I pay close attention to the details that a dedicated pet owner only knows about! Have a special food, bed time, or play routine? I'll stick to it like superglue! Allowing me in your home requires a significant amount of trust that I do not take lightly- I make it a point to treat your home with the same level of respect as I treat mine. I value communication and keep myself within's an arm's reach of my phone in case any questions, concerns, last minute requests, or emergencies occur. I pride myself on keeping your home tidier than you left it, providing my own food/necessities myself, and following any and all house rules.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
