About: Fun fact: I began dog walking/sitting at just the age of 15 in Los Angeles, where I’m originally from. The old school way: pinning flyers around my neighborhood. My first client: a Great Dane as big as me. We soon became best friends. I am attentive and adapt easily to all sorts of pets — I know when it’s time to play, time to eat, and time to mellow out. I ensure all fur babies never feel like they are alone ~ In some way, we exchange. Whether it be through conversation, music, toy time, cuddles, and more. One of my proudest moments: An extremely shy black cat who rarely allows to be touched, laid on my tummy and napped for a couple of hours, at the third sitting call. I’m currently transitioning jobs (completely remote) and have ample free time to tap into all of my side gigs. Essentially, I am super flexible at this point in time. I, naturally, am active and will take long walks daily - and I’m sure your dog does too! If your dog enjoys running, we can do that together as well! As for cats, I love cuddles and purrs - my touch is soft, and I know cat play. I am naturally very observant and detail-oriented - meaning I will adapt according to your fur baby’s comfort level, preferences, and passions. Should your pet require a smaller, enclosed space, I will pick up on that! I am attentive to needs and ensuring water is filled up, and bellies are full when the time comes. I am also aware of keeping things out of reach when I am not around.

“Jasmine was a fantastic dog sitter! She took care of our 10 month old shepherd-mix puppy, Nova, while we were away for the weekend. She stayed at our apartment for 3 nights to keep our anxious puppy company and make sure she had food, water, walks, and love while we were gone! Jasmine handled our anxious and reactive puppy like a champ and showed extreme patience until Nova warmed up to her over time. Jasmine also left our apartment exactly as we left it and even cleaned up the room she stayed in. She was wonderful and we would highly recommend her to others.”

I can’t wait to start back up, we will be doing this slowly and based on our family needs. I’ve been taking care of dogs/cats all my life to small animals to big animals I love them all! I am available anytime throughout the day and will always be home! This is my full time job! Your pets will love the fenced in yard and all the yard to run around! This is my full time job! So I have all the time to take care of your pup! We have a fenced in yard so your dog will have plenty of room to burn their energy off. We can take the dogs on walks as well. We have 3 very friendly pets Daisy, Toby, and Gracie they will help socialize with your animal and will love playing! All dogs will be boarded in my house and are allowed on the couch or bed! Also we can crate if needed. I wake up around 8a, let the dogs out then I separate the dogs for feeding time, after they ate I’ll let them out and they have all day to play. I offer Apple air tags as well for an extra measure of safety. For house sitting I offer daily check ups, I do not offer overnights.

About: I grew up in the woods surrounded by a constant menagerie of beloved animals, from kittens and hamsters and goldfish to an energetic black lab and her tumbling litter of puppies, to parakeets and cockatiels and the wild baby hawks my mother rescued. Though I never had a snake growing up, I lived with two ball pythons in college and learned about reptiles petsitting for iguanas. Because I travel regularly, I’m not in a position to have pets of my own, and so petsitting is not only a way to earn extra income, but also to fulfill my longing to connect with animals. Life is better with creature friends! I’ve been petsitting for 21 years, and I have experience with a wide variety of animal, both long- and short-term stays, and with boarding cats, dogs, and snakes at my home for weeks at a time. I’ve provided long-term care for kitties and pooches who need diabetes injections twice a day, and I’m no stranger to following *very specific protocols* to get an aged friend to take their daily pills. I’ve cared for nervous nellies and pandemonius puppies and cats who need to chase lots of things in order to stay sane. I enjoy learning your pets’ favorite games to play, and I’m also experienced with supporting any training and boundaries you’re working on with them. I understand that when I’m petsitting, it’s like nannying children (which I’ve also done for over a decade!) I’m committed to providing your pets with safety and care, as well as showing them love, energy, and attention while helping them navigate what it’s like to miss their favorite human. I treat petsitting as a great responsibility, not only regarding practical logistics, but also for your pets’ enrichment and quality of life! I work primarily as a grant writer and non-profit consultant, and so I have a flexible daily schedule. I often work from home, which means I’m able to spend time with your pets throughout the day! I love walking pets and giving them (and me!) exercise, and I’m able to do so as often as your pet requires. I’m a professional musician and I have performances from time to time in the evenings or brunch time, but I’m able to plan my schedule around your pets’ needs. Since I’m flexible with time, I’m not overwhelmed by complex feeding schedules or rituals. I love the psychological richness of caring for new and different types of animals, and I’m a quick study to learn new protocols. I’m happy to learn your pets’ rhythms, and match their routines as closely as possible while I’m with them. I have many years of experience with overnight gigs in other people’s homes, and I deeply respect the responsibility of caring for someone else’s space. Since I’ve been petsitting for so long, I’m very familiar with keeping a small footprint and cleaning up thoroughly after myself. I also have experience caring for plants and other home maintenance needs while petsitting, anything that will put your mind at ease while you travel.
