However, we had an absolutely awesome experience with Kate! The communication was outstanding! In the morning, I received an update with how he did overnight as well as a video showing him eating his breakfast. Our home includes myself, my husband, and our friendly female bernese mountain dog Berkeley. No kids or other pets. We are comfortable with dogs of all breeds and activity levels. We only host one dog at a time so your dog will get all the attention. There is a fenced yard in a calm/quiet neighborhood. About: My grandparents and mom were professional boarders, breeders, and handlers. I literally grew up on an ex-pen. Once my grandparents retired my mom opened a shop in 2006 and I joined as her certified bather and brusher in 2012. We have had our business ever since.. Taking care of dogs are literlly is in my DNA. I've also worked at a different grooming salon where I was also a bather and brusher. They loved me there because I always made their dogs feel warmed and welcomed by singing to them or giving them a nickname. I personally understand dogs better than humans. “It was with great trepidation that I booked an overnight for our wonder dog Xylo. You see he had never been left with a stranger before and I was very nervous about leaving him. However, we had an absolutely awesome experience with Kate! The communication was outstanding! When I sent a text to ask about him (within a hour after dropping him off) she replied within minutes with pictures. In the morning, I received an update with how he did overnight as well as a video showing him eating his breakfast. Xylo was happy and relaxed the entire stay and we were thrilled with the care that he received!”

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.
