About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 13. I walk mine and my sisters dogs frequently. I have done overnights with dogs. I let dogs out during the day and feed them for meal times. I am a nursing student at Hartwick college and can easily work about my schedule to take care of pets. I am unavailable on Thursdays, but every other day works depending on my schedule. In my clients home I use any equipment that they recommend and use. I have taken dogs for rides in my car and roll the windows down for them to see out.

We needed a sitter last minute for our two dogs during our wedding - we wanted them to be there, but didn’t want to leave them alone when we were getting ready, dancing, etc. When she arrived I immediately felt comfortable leaving the pups with her, so I could focus on everything else. She came midday Saturday and stayed until after our wedding; she was comfortable hanging out with us while we got ready, and just making sure the dogs were taken care of. She walked them around the grounds and kept them within arms reach, if necessary, throughout the reception. And then fed them and watched TV with them as it got dark. Her presence allowed us to really enjoy our day! We’re so thankful.”

About: I have been "adopting" pets on a short term basis for over 20 years. I give them all the same attention that you would as their parents and possibly spoil them a bit so that they stay happy when you are gone and are even happier to see you on your return. I strive to stick to the life they are accustomed to and give them whatever care that is required. Walks, shots, medicine, special diets, grooming etc... Unless I am traveling, I am available 24/7 if needed. I will send updates/photos/videos as often as you like and can provide excellent references. About: I grew up in the woods surrounded by a constant menagerie of beloved animals, from kittens and hamsters and goldfish to an energetic black lab and her tumbling litter of puppies, to parakeets and cockatiels and the wild baby hawks my mother rescued. Though I never had a snake growing up, I lived with two ball pythons in college and learned about reptiles petsitting for iguanas. Because I travel regularly, I’m not in a position to have pets of my own, and so petsitting is not only a way to earn extra income, but also to fulfill my longing to connect with animals. Life is better with creature friends! I’ve been petsitting for 21 years, and I have experience with a wide variety of animal, both long- and short-term stays, and with boarding cats, dogs, and snakes at my home for weeks at a time. I’ve provided long-term care for kitties and pooches who need diabetes injections twice a day, and I’m no stranger to following *very specific protocols* to get an aged friend to take their daily pills. I’ve cared for nervous nellies and pandemonius puppies and cats who need to chase lots of things in order to stay sane. I enjoy learning your pets’ favorite games to play, and I’m also experienced with supporting any training and boundaries you’re working on with them. I understand that when I’m petsitting, it’s like nannying children (which I’ve also done for over a decade!) I’m committed to providing your pets with safety and care, as well as showing them love, energy, and attention while helping them navigate what it’s like to miss their favorite human. I treat petsitting as a great responsibility, not only regarding practical logistics, but also for your pets’ enrichment and quality of life! I work primarily as a grant writer and non-profit consultant, and so I have a flexible daily schedule. I often work from home, which means I’m able to spend time with your pets throughout the day! I love walking pets and giving them (and me!) exercise, and I’m able to do so as often as your pet requires. I’m a professional musician and I have performances from time to time in the evenings or brunch time, but I’m able to plan my schedule around your pets’ needs. Since I’m flexible with time, I’m not overwhelmed by complex feeding schedules or rituals. I love the psychological richness of caring for new and different types of animals, and I’m a quick study to learn new protocols. I’m happy to learn your pets’ rhythms, and match their routines as closely as possible while I’m with them. I have many years of experience with overnight gigs in other people’s homes, and I deeply respect the responsibility of caring for someone else’s space. Since I’ve been petsitting for so long, I’m very familiar with keeping a small footprint and cleaning up thoroughly after myself. I also have experience caring for plants and other home maintenance needs while petsitting, anything that will put your mind at ease while you travel.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, from big to small. Friends and family have frequently called on me to watch and love their pets while they are out of town- and I don’t know who enjoys it more- the fur folks or me! I also volunteer with a farm animal sanctuary and have a lot of farming experience with a larger diversity of animals. I do work full time, but I have fairly flexible hours and work remotely at times. My primary times of availability would be in the mornings before 10 am and after 5pm until bedtime. I will assess the pet’s or pets’ needs and figure out a schedule that will work best for them to ensure seem-less care and stress reduction while their owners are away. I give love very freely and love a good snuggle! I want to make your fur kids feel as happy as possible while you’re away.

In your home, I'll follow your care instructions closely, keep your space clean and respectful, and make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. During walks, I stay aware of our surroundings, keep pets securely leashed unless instructed otherwise in a safe enclosed area, and prioritize their well-being at all times. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

We are going to be back Open June 2025 after being closed down for a few months for the birth of our daughter! I can’t wait to start back up, we will be doing this slowly and based on our family needs. I’ve been taking care of dogs/cats all my life to small animals to big animals I love them all! I am available anytime throughout the day and will always be home! This is my full time job! Your pets will love the fenced in yard and all the yard to run around! This is my full time job! So I have all the time to take care of your pup! We have a fenced in yard so your dog will have plenty of room to burn their energy off. We can take the dogs on walks as well. We have 3 very friendly pets Daisy, Toby, and Gracie they will help socialize with your animal and will love playing! All dogs will be boarded in my house and are allowed on the couch or bed! Also we can crate if needed. I wake up around 8a, let the dogs out then I separate the dogs for feeding time, after they ate I’ll let them out and they have all day to play. I offer Apple air tags as well for an extra measure of safety. For house sitting I offer daily check ups, I do not offer overnights.
