“Kyle was great for our young blue heeler Shadow! Our dog needs time to warm up to new people, and Kyle was very comfortable with that process. Upon first meeting, Shadow growled at him and snapped at the air a bit but Kyle was not bothered and knew to ignore Shadow at first. After some time, Shadow was asking him for belly rubs. Before leaving Shadow with Kyle we arranged two visits between him and the dog to make sure they were friends. Kyle was very accommodating and happy to take that extra time out of his day. I really appreciated his willingness to do that. During their time together, Kyle sent photos and updates every day. Right away from the photos we could see that our pup was relaxed and settling into spending time with his new human friend in the house and on walks. Shadow even got to sleep in bed and sit on couches (like he does at home...) Knowing everything was OK for both of them really helped us enjoy our trip. Big thanks to Kyle!”
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that since I was eight years old I have been taking care of cats, dogs, reptiles, and rodents. I have 25 rescue cats back home in California in which I work with rescues for free vaccines and neutering and spaying. Lots of the cats I take care of have special needs or require administering medication. I also have experience with dogs with special needs such as being spoonfed. I work part-time over the winter and will spend most days indoors studying for LSAT. I go for walks on breaks and usually give attention to my pets and others between breaks or as needed! My house has spare rooms where I can house pets if they are not comfortable with my cats! My cats can remain on third floor if needed with free roam acccess around house for cats and for dogs it varies on a case by case basis.

My grand puppies are two Huskys, a black lab and two mix breed dogs who I have partially help raise. All in all I love these animals as family members. I would do the same for yours. About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.

About: I have raised and cared for my families dogs as well as my own personal pets since I was a child. From puppy days to senior life, I have experienced it all and have enjoyed every moment of it. For me, having dogs around is a must! I currently work 4 days a week at a brewery in Rochester. I am available for walks and check-ins Tuesday/Wed all day, Thursday-Friday 8am-11am. Sunday's are open and negotiable as well! I enjoy spending time outside (park, trails, yard) with the active dogs, and talked to/petting the lazy/sleepy ones while they lounge inside. I then got my own dogs that I do all care for. I started fostering with a local rescue in 2022. I’ve cared for dogs with medical issues. Anywhere from Seizure disorders, parasites and other various medical issues. I treat every dog that I care for as if they’re my own. I currently work full time, M-F 730a-330p. I am able to check in, walk, feed, etc, dogs before work, during my lunch and after work. I have 2 dogs of my own. We live in a 3 bedroom house. Unfortunately, I don’t have a fenced in yard. I do take my dogs on multiple walks everyday along with utilizing a tie out (if they want to stay out longer), and would do the same with yours, so they get some outside time.

About: I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. It works out well because I’m a very active person who likes to get outside as much as possible—hiking when the weather permits and bringing him along with me. This is in part due to my ever-changing, flexible schedule. I have a few set shifts during the week, but for the most part I make my own hours and I have time to be available pretty much whenever I am needed!

About: I’ve had dogs in the family my entire life. My parents currently have 3 Lab/Australian Shepard mixes that I care for often. About: I've only looked after our family friend's 2 dogs Skully and Hanna for 2 separate weeks, but it made me want to get a dog myself even more. My first time dog sitting with 2 pups was a success, and it was honestly really fun getting them each a pup cup from Starbucks one of the days, and spoiling them with treats and fruits safe for dogs like blueberries and mangoes. Hanging out with them in general was also a blast. This is something I'm really looking forward to doing in the future. I'm working full time for fairport schools starting this Monday, but should be available in the mornings and after school, which ends at 2:40. I'm also a musician and I have gigs from time to time in Rochester, but it's nothing I can't work my schedule around. The last time I dog sat, the routine went like this: Get up at 7:30 to let the dogs out, then feed them the 1.5 cups each of dog food, let them out to go potty again. Then we would hang out, rest, or start the day until about 2 when we would go on a big walk either throughout the block or to a path on the canal. After that, we would go back again and hang out until about 5:30 when I would let them out, feed them, and let them out again. Then, I would let them out once more for the night before bed. That schedule basically repeated, then I also did some cool extraneous things with them like watching the show about the dog from "Up" on Disney Plus, throwing them sticks and a ball to play fetch with outside, letting them sleep on the beds if the owner says they can, feeding them treats, etc. Also made sure I cleaned up and left the clients home looking exactly how it was when I got there. I like to Febreeze too for some reason to make the house smell good. Looking forward to doing more of this.
About: I have worked with mostly dogs with walking and some training. I have also worked with cats, lizards, birds, and guinea pigs. Any kind of animal works for me. Pet care fits in most of my schedule. I work a 3-11 shift but am able to fit sitting in when not at work. I love animals and enjoy their company. I love walking and hiking and animals make the time even more relaxing. I cannot have pets in my home but can travel to your home to watch your pets in their environment where they can be more comfortable. I can walk or care for them any way that is needed. I'm a fast learner.

“Kyle was great for our young blue heeler Shadow! Our dog needs time to warm up to new people, and Kyle was very comfortable with that process. Upon first meeting, Shadow growled at him and snapped at the air a bit but Kyle was not bothered and knew to ignore Shadow at first. After some time, Shadow was asking him for belly rubs. Before leaving Shadow with Kyle we arranged two visits between him and the dog to make sure they were friends. Kyle was very accommodating and happy to take that extra time out of his day. I really appreciated his willingness to do that. During their time together, Kyle sent photos and updates every day. Right away from the photos we could see that our pup was relaxed and settling into spending time with his new human friend in the house and on walks. About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.
