Nervous about leaving our baby in the care of a stranger, I took comfort in reading other people’s reviews so I hope this helps. As a new transplant to Fort Wayne from Brooklyn New York, things are very different. Our 2 year old poodle isn’t use to the new routine or people yet and Tracy was patient, communicative and caring. I felt comfortable letting him into our home and loved getting the photos of our happy - despite Super nervous- pup with his tail up trotting along. Tracy is a game changer for us in our new schedule and I would trust him with our pooch in our home or in his.

About: Dogs have always been part of my life, and I truly enjoy caring for them. I currently have two dogs of my own—a 2.5-year-old Goldendoodle and a 15-year-old Shih Tzu—so I’m very familiar with both high-energy dogs and senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I understand how important routine, exercise, and attention are for dogs, and I always take the time to learn each pet’s personality and needs. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company while you’re away, I treat every dog like they’re my own. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, and I’m happy to send updates and photos so you have peace of mind. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy and make time for in my routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent visits, walks, feeding, and attention so pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I always prioritize safety, routine, and communication when caring for pets. I carefully follow any instructions provided and take the time to make sure pets feel comfortable in their environment. I’m respectful of clients’ homes and happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I think what sets me apart from other individuals is my patience and love to pets. I’m a genuine guy with plenty of time in my schedule to take great and attentive care of any beloved animal. I’m free as a bird. I’m always looking to help others. Right now, that includes relieving animal owners of the anxiety of not having a great care taker. I’m down for a walk snow or rain. I’m also brilliant with keeping routine. I get along great with all animals. Building trust with a loved pet can be such a reward. It’s truly soul bonding. While I’m not in the position to currently house my own cat or dog doesn’t mean I’m not passionate about taking care of other furry friends.

About: My name is Marissa and I am an elementary school teacher. When I’m not at school with my students, I am at home relaxing. I am available for watching pets in my own home while you are away for your weekend trips or even week long vacations. I am also able for drop in visits at your home and dog walking. My availability for drop in visits and dog walking is more open during school breaks and the summer. I only pet sit for one family at a time. I will watch multiple pets if they are from the same family. My house is one story, is in a safe neighborhood, and has a fenced in back yard. I have grown up around dogs and am very comfortable caring and playing with them. I grew up with my family dog Samson, a shih tzu and bichon mix, and my sister’s dog Max, a black lab mix. Your animals will be in great and loving hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry loved ones! I work full time during the school year and will be gone for about 8 hours a day. After work I come home, do things around the house, and relax. I would love to snuggle with your pet after I get home from work. On weekend and during the summer, I don’t have a set schedule. If I have to leave it’s typically no longer than 4-5 hours at a time. I try my best to keep things similar at my home as they would be at your home. I am comfortable with dogs having free range of the house if that is what they are familiar with and they are well trained. If your dog is used to staying in a crate while you are gone, please bring a crate when you drop them off. Pets are welcomed on the couch and bed. I also highly suggest bringing food/water bowls, toys, a blanket, and anything else that would be beneficial for your pet to feel more comfortable in a new place.

About: Animals have always had a special place in my heart. Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by creatures big and small—everything from conures to bison. From an early age, I learned not just how to care for animals, but how to truly respect them. That foundation deepened over the years into a lifelong appreciation for the bond we share with our animal companions. Adopting my dog Uschi was life-changing—she taught me about unconditional love, loyal companionship, and even nudged me toward a healthier lifestyle. That experience reinforced my commitment to providing pets with the same love and care I give my own. I understand how important it is to feel confident when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. That’s why I prioritize consistency, comfort, and safety. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely, respect any dietary needs, and make sure they feel calm and cared for every step of the way. I can’t wait to run, play, and give your sweet baby the love they deserve! I currently work remote at my own pace, so I have full availability any time of day, morning or over night. Complete flexibility to your schedule. My overnight stays are flexible and can be tailored to your pet’s specific needs. I’m happy to take care of small home tasks like bringing in the mail or taking out the trash—just let me know what you'd like. We can also go over feeding schedules, walk routines, and note any areas that are off-limits to ensure everything runs smoothly. I understand that separation anxiety is common, and I approach each visit with patience, empathy, and a calming presence. Your pet’s comfort and emotional well-being are my top priority, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, seen, and cared for in your absence. I’m also very mindful of pet nutrition—no treats or dietary changes will be made without your clear consent. I’m available for a wide range of time frames and am happy to adapt to your pet’s rhythm and routine, providing consistency, comfort, and a little extra love while you're away.

About: Hi! I’m Alicia. I’m a second grade teacher and lifelong Fort Wayne resident. I’ve had pets my entire life, but currently have none of my own, so I’m looking forward to babying yours this summer! I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to offer them a quiet, kid-free, pet-free, low-stress environment to settle into while you’re away. I’m extremely reliable, caring, and patient. Whether your pet needs medication, a consistent routine, or extra time to warm up to someone, I’m happy to adjust to whatever works best for them (and for you). Whether I’m with them for a drop-in or overnight stay, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Plus, I love to take pictures and document our adventures, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you’re away. Feel free to reach out to set up a time to chat or schedule a meet and greet! As a teacher, my summers are especially flexible for drop-ins, daycare, and overnight stays. When school starts (August-May), I’m limited to before and after school drop-ins, but always open to schedule overnight stays at your house or mine especially on weekends or holidays! At my house, your pets will be the only pets in the home, so they’ll get all of the attention they deserve! My house is pet-proofed and I’m very committed to ensuring your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 8-9 years old. I grew up with dogs of all breeds, and dog sat for neighbors, and family members. I don't just watch dogs; I build trust with them. Take the time to learn each dog's personality, routines, and quirks so they feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I'm currently a stay-at-home dog mom who's working on building a coffee business/doggy daycare. I'm usually free from Monday-Friday, I'm flexible with scheduling! About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, from helping with my grandma’s pup to raising my own three miniature dachshunds. My childhood dog, a white Lab-Husky mix, sparked my lifelong love for animals. With years of hands-on experience, I treat every pet like family. Taking care of pets is just part of my everyday life. I’m always up early to let the dogs run around the back yard. Walks, playtime, and cuddles with my own dogs is so important. So adding another furry friend is easy. I love keeping them happy, comfy, and feeling at home. Our dogs have a huge fenced in yard with toys everywhere. In the summers they love swimming and being outside. I have 3 dogs so walks are always interesting but since they have been getting bigger they are understanding better.

About: Big walks, slow strolls, and plenty of sniff breaks—I meet dogs where they’re at and make every walk a good one. Your dog gets care like they’re my own. I take tons of photos and videos along the way! I work remotely so I am always home and available to help your pet get the attention they need and deserve. Next to Chestnut Hills Golf Course, there are plenty of nearby walks and good smells. I live in Fort Wayne and I am happy to visit your location With two dogs of my own, I have a fenced yard, many toys, and access to good walks and hikes. Pet care can easily join into my current routine with my pets, or be tailored to the pet's needs. While my dogs love to play, they can be kept separated or eased into our routine (for boarding/day-care). I am especially good with high energy dogs and puppies. For walks, I love to get outdoors with the casual sniffers, the runners, and even the leash-pullers. I have lots of equipment I can share if needed (spring leashes, running harnesses for larger dogs, retractable leashes and more).
