Elise does a wonderful job taking care of our girl! She has a great attention to detail and sends the best photos of our dog at each visit. She has also let me know if anything in the house seems out of place (ex: one day we accidentally left one of the doors unlocked). I hope to have Elise come do a home stay when we travel because we trust her to take care of our house and dog!

Vanessa does a wonderful job and takes great care with my Great Pyrenees. (Cooper). She is a life saver in that while I am at work she comes by and spends time walking him during the middle of the day. She provides pictures, updates, and looking at them Cooper looks very happy. I would recommend to anyone,

About: My skill sets range from watching 10 week old puppies to raising our family dog who is now an 80lb husky. I also am very comfortable with caring for cats as I grew up with my family cat for many years. I genuinely enjoy spending time with fur babies of all kinds, even though I don’t have any of my own. I am very experienced in overnight stays, walks, and just drop-ins as needed. Even though I currently do not have any pets of my own, I have lived with multiple past roommates who had pets. I work from home with a very flexible schedule making my availability extremely open on a daily and weekly basis. I do occasionally travel for work, but that will be communicated well in advance. Even though I do not have any pets of my own, my current living situation does not allow for me to watch your pets in my own home. However, I am more than willing to do overnight stays with your fur baby. I am extremely respectful of your expectations (home, belongings, etc.) and will ensure your pet and space are treated with the utmost care and respect!

About: I have been a lifelong pet owner and have over 15 years of professional experience working with animals. My journey began as a volunteer at an animal shelter and grew into roles as a pet groomer and veterinary technician. Currently, I am pursuing a double master’s degree with a focus on animal ethics, welfare, and conservation. In my free time, I dedicate myself to supporting local conservation initiatives and caring for animals of all kinds. With the flexibility of graduate school, I now have the opportunity to expand my pet sitting and dog walking services. I am currently providing cat sitting and dog walking for several clients in the West Ashley area and am excited to expand my services to West Ashley, John’s Island, Ravenel, Hollywood, and downtown Charleston. I love caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and other small animals. In addition to pet sitting and dog walking, I am trained to administer medications thanks to my veterinary technician background. I also offer baths and nail trims for both cats and dogs. While I am retired from full grooming, I provide “mini-makeover” services such as teeth cleaning, ear cleaning, and paw pad shave-outs. Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’d love to help care for your pets! I am currently a double masters student and a TA part time. I also have private cat sitting and dog walking clients. I have plenty of time to take on new clients as my main school schedule is twice a week in the evening. I do teach downtown three days a week for 3 hour blocks but have plenty of free time otherwise. I promise transparency, trust and commitment to taking care of any pet or animal under my supervision. As a double masters student with a focus on animal ethics, welfare and conservation, I promise the best care for your pets. Pets are family and should be treats as so. I am experienced with giving oral and intravenous medication for animals. I have previous experience as a vet technician and 15 plus years of animal husbandry skills.

Please reach out! I am available every day for mornings, afternoon and night visits, walls and boarding! I am also available for last minute check ins late at night. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have experience with both younger and older pets. This past summer, I cared for two dogs and two cats for a week, handling feeding, walks, and daily routines. I also helped train my two puppies in 2024, so I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs and basic training. In addition, I’ve helped care for my grandparents’ older dog, so I understand the patience and attention senior pets need. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. My boyfriend and I moved to Charleston this summer! He has an internship from 10-6:30 during the week, and my internship is from home. I also have a part time job, but I will be home during the week a lot. We also are home pretty much every evening. We both love dogs! I have two dogs back home and both have experience taking care of dogs of all ages. Our apartment area has a really nice spot to walk dogs. I always prioritize safety and making pets feel comfortable in their environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific needs. I’m attentive, patient, and make sure pets feel relaxed and cared for whether I’m in your home, they’re in mine or I’m checking in on them.

About: I bring the magic where ever I go, especially to visit the dogs and cats of Charleston. I love to take them on adventures to Hampton park, Magnolia Plantation, the island beaches, or around Colonial Lake. Some of my regulars include the 2 cutest Dachsunds downtown. I’m experienced with all breed and sizes! I am a local contractor so my schedule is very flexible. I can do mid day walks or drop ins as long as I don’t have a job to do! I will always take your dog on regular walks and play with younger dogs or any who have the energy. I know how to pet the grumpiest of cats without them walking away! About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 8 years, including my own who has chronic pancreatitis. I’m comfortable with special diets, medication, and senior dog care. I treat every dog like family—patient, loving, and attentive to their individual needs. Whether your pup is high-energy or needs a gentler pace, I’ll provide safe, thoughtful care tailored just for them. Before getting my own dog at 19, I grew up in a home that always had two dogs. Helping care for them was a constant part of my life and taught me the responsibility, empathy, and joy that comes with loving animals. Additionally, I’ve been volunteering at Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary, which has deepened my experience with dogs of all breeds and backgrounds. I'm currently in graduate school, which gives me a flexible schedule to care for your pups! I'm available for walks and in-home visits on Tuesdays, Fridays, and some weekends (just ask about weekend availability). I make pet care a priority and will always treat your dog with the same love and attention I give my own. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize safety, routine, and comfort. I follow all instructions closely—from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes—and make sure your pup feels secure while you're away. I always respect your space, keep things clean, and treat your home and pet with care and kindness. My goal is to maintain a calm, trustworthy presence so your dog stays happy and stress-free in their familiar environment.

About: I have been a vet tech for 14 years now and I absolutely love the work I do. Unfortunately, being a single mother doesn't allow me to fully commit to veterinary clinic hours. I am starting up my own mobile pet service business called Pampered Pet. I provide excellent pet care along with other services such as nail trims, sanitary and paw shave, baths and more. I will give your fur-baby lots of love and attention so you can rest your mind knowing your pet is in great hands. If there happens to be an emergency situation while I am there, I know what steps to take and have veterinarian contacts on hand. I am committed to all my clients and their fur-babies. Please contact me with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your fur-baby. I currently run my own business so I will have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention and loving they deserve while you are away. We are working on a fence at the moment. Your pup will love playing with my sweet yellow lab. If needed, I can always put my dog in his kennel. I do not foresee that happening though.
