“We knew Alexis from a local animal hospital so asking her to care for our fur babies was an easy no-brainer. Her love for animals coupled with her veterinary skills makes her a natural! She is incredibly warm and sincere. One of our very shy kitties actually came out and connected with her! They say animals are the best judge of people, and my babies love her! Alexis is at the top of our list.”

“Erin did a great job dropping in to visit and feed our 2 cats while we were out of town. She had great communication and provided a thorough recap of her visits. I really appreciated that she also met with us prior to us leaving town so she could meet the cats and learn where everything was located in the house. Would definitely recommend!”

“Callie was very good with our cat, Shadow. She sent lots of pictures and made sure that all his needs were met and also made sure to keep us updated throughout his stay. Definitely would recommend to anyone who needs a sitter!”

“Alexis took excellent care of my cat while I was away for a family wedding!!! I had just recently moved, and my cat is still traumatized by the move. Alexis ensured that he was eating and drinking. And she provided continuous updates, which helped my anxiety about leaving him. Thanks to Alexis I was able to enjoy the wedding!! I won’t hesitate to reach out to Alexis if I need a sitter again.”

“Christine sent excellent photos of the cats and their food, water and litter box with each visit. She was also very flexible, making an extra visit for us even after a late plane flight, bringing in packages and checking for damage after a storm. We'll happily book her again!”

About: I’ve had a family dog for over 6 years and have helped to train her and take care of her! I also have dog sat for neighbors and friends all throughout high-school and a few times so far in college! I’m currently in school but my schedule does allow for daily drop-ins or staying overnight! I would love to be able to accommodate requests to the best of my abilities! Anything that is asked of a pet parent I am willing to do for the care of your animal! I can take walks, simply check in with your pet, or stay overnight if you’re away!

About: I haven’t been taking care of dogs that long I probably started when I was 16. I would help take care of my dog and my best friends dogs when she needed me to. I am currently working part-time in the afternoon but I only work 3 days so I can do early mornings, around noon and sometimes at night. I am very patient and loveable to dogs that just need a little more attention than others. I would also make sure to keep the dog on a leash and protect them from other dogs as well.

About: I work at Shaggy Hound where we treat your dogs just like our own. I take care of dogs from 3 months to 17 years old. I can administer medications and keep them on a regular schedule. I can also start training your dog basic commands while they are in my care. I believe what sets me apart from other people is my knowledge and experience. I used to work at a vet clinic for four years and now I work as a Kennel Tech. I have gained so much confidence in my ability to handle and work with animals. Pet care fits into my routine because it’s what I do for work, i work with dogs and then I come home and get to spoil my own dog and cats. I have a passion for caring for animals because they can’t do it for themselves. Your pets depend on you and that is my motivation to be better for them everyday. I care for other people’s animals with the same genuine love as I do my own. Pets are apart of the family and deserve to see love and respect always.

“Britney took very good care of my kitty while I was gone. My cat is very skittish when it comes to new people, so she tends to hide. Britney went the extra mile to make sure she atleast heard her in the house. She also made sure she had food, water and cleaned her kitty box. I would highly recommend her to take care of your pets!”

About: For a summer I worked at a dog boarding/daycare facility where I feed, gave medication, and walked the dogs. I am also in a club at my university where I am raising and training a future guide/service dog! I’m currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to take care of your furry friend! Im available to do walks and check ins anytime of the week as long as I’m available! If there are any special requirements your furry friend needs I please ask you share them! Such as when I walk them, if their is a certain area they do not like or other pets I will do my best to avoid them!

“Very pleased with Sara’s care for our senior dog. She was very thoughtful when she did her drop in and got him all set up on the couch with his ramp and some HGTV. Will definitely use Sara again!”

About: Hello! I have been a volunteer with the Humane Society since 2018 and have experience doing all sorts of things! I have overseen meet and greets with new owners, fed/watered dogs on a schedule, cleaned yards, walked dogs, watched over playtime in the yards with multiple dogs, dealt with puppies, trained puppies, handled senior dogs, and handled cats as well. I went through orientation and training in order to be in this position at the shelter, so I have a good understanding of animal behavior and treatment. I also have two dogs of my own back at home and have been around dogs my whole life. (I’m okay with snakes too, I’ve had one of my own). I have been a pet sitter for family friends as well and have been told that they love the way I care for their babies! I am an avid animal lover and plan to become a veterinary surgeon. I am currently at Mississippi State University in the pre-vet concentration of my animal and dairy sciences major! I am home from college for the summer, so my schedule is super open! I work part-time and shifts are only about 4 hours, so that leaves me plenty of time to give your pets the quality time that they deserve! I will be very dedicated to giving your fur babies the best care possible. My own dog is super active and she gets walked for an hour in the mornings, another shorter walk mid-day (weather permitting), and then another hour long walk in the evenings with plenty of play time in between! I will send daily updates and photos if you are away from home and I am doing drop in visits! I know that when pet parents are away, pets can become lonely and feel left out but I am here to make sure that they have fun and have a happy time! I have such a great passion for helping pets and will treat your babies like they’re my own!

About: I’ve taken care of many animals, but my preference is cats due to having much more experience with them. I have taken care of plenty of cats that vary in all ages. I currently work a full time job, but can be available before and after work. I also am free majority of most weekends and holidays. With cats, I understand the importance of being a safe place & not rushing into a trusting relationship until your cat has come out of their shell. With that being said, I am perfect to keep your cat company while also maintaining space for them to investigate or interact with me if they choose to. Now with cats that are full of energy and love to play, I will be honored to make sure they get all their energy and playfulness out while I am sitting.

About: I have worked with animals since I was 14, but I was always surrounded with many different animals growing up. My family owns a horse stable and I’ve been able to grow up with my personal horse and also had the opportunity to work as a camp counselor teaching children how to care and ride horses. While I was in highschool I worked at a traditional animal hospital for 2 years as a vet assistant/animal care attendant shift leader, I worked with many different breeds/sizes of dogs & cats and occasionally pigs! I currently work at an animal rehabilitation hospital and as a veterinary assistant. I’m currently a full time college student at Mississippi State University. I usually have 2 classes per day and other than that will be available for your pet! If you message me I will personally let you know my exact class schedule the week or day you need me so you can decide if I’m a good fit for your pet. At my clients home I will follow any house rules and be with your pet at all times to ensure they are happy and properly cared for.

Mia D.
“I hired Mia to watch my cat while we went away on vacation and I was so happy I found her! My cat does not like anyone but my husband or myself so I was a little worried but they got along great! Mia did a great job of cleaning her litter box, making sure she got fed at the right times and that her water was always full. She even updated and sent pics when I asked how it was going. Mia will be the first person I call next time we need a cat sitter. Highly recommend!”
