About: I have a half acre fenced in yard, a 20x10 run pen, have fostered senior dogs and puppies for the shelter near us, I have worked with trainers before on how to get tips for our own dogs so I can be better equipped to care of others as well. I can also care for almost any animal at my house while you need a sitter. Small to tall! (Sorry I don’t have the set up for horses) Fish to big and small dogs, all the way to reptiles! I have experience with all of them. Daily, your animal will be watched 24/7. I strive to make sure every animal in my care is cared for like my own. So, your animal will never be left for more than a hour or two (the occasional doctors appointment). They will also be taken care of just like my own in they will get PLENTY of exercise! My dogs and dogs I watch are crated when we are not home. (Of course without collars on!) I spend at the very least 2 hours per day exercising with my dogs in the backyard. High energy dogs need outlets! I have experience from Yorkies to Shepherds to Belgians.
About: I’ve loved and have been taken care of animals since I was a kid. Also I am currently attending school to specialize in animals behavior. I am currently working a part time job, so I have more than enough time on my hands to fit pet sitting in my schedule. I am very attentive to the pets at all time. I also make sure that anything that could possibly harm them isn’t in their vicinity.
About: I've cared for my family's six adorable belgian malinois and two funky cats for as long as I can remember! Additionally, being a pre-veterinary student means I've loved on animals of all temperaments (including some parrots and monkeys!) and am completely comfortable with restraint, vaccination, blood draws, and general care! I am currently doing research part-time, so I would love to keep an eye on your fur-babies in the afternoons and evenings, as well as on the weekends! I live in an apartment, but as long as your pet is leash-trained and you are comfortable with it, I am more than happy to tucker them out with an evening walk or run! I am always able to house-sit for a night as well.
“Very pleased with Sara’s care for our senior dog. She was very thoughtful when she did her drop in and got him all set up on the couch with his ramp and some HGTV. Will definitely use Sara again!”

About: Can't imagine life without pets! I've been fortunate to never have a day without at least 1 animal in my life. Have even enjoyed fostering! Currently we have Stella, a Great Dane-Mastiff mix weighing in around 170#; Sadie, another Great Dane mix (or so we were told, adopted her in Puerto Vallarta) weighing 80# and Daisy, our newest rescue though not sure of her mix weighing 45# and a cat, Sylvie. I'm generally available at any point, doing mostly odd jobs here and there. My schedule tends to be wide open so I can easily accommodate last minute calls! Not quite ready for in house pet sittting as it stresses our dogs out when we've fostered in the past. Hopefully we'll build up to that soon!
About: I’ve worked in a vet clinic for 4 years where I have learned how to properly take care of animals. I also dog sit for neighbors and friends which include feeding, bathing, administering medicine, walking and spending the night with their animals. I will be able to stop by between, before or after classes. I will also be able to stop by on weekends or on my lunch break. I do work a part time job and I am a full time student but I will fit this into my schedule between classes or after work. I will build up a trust with your pet and treat them like one of my own. I will either leash walk them to go potty or let them out in a fenced in back yard.
“Britney took very good care of my kitty while I was gone. My cat is very skittish when it comes to new people, so she tends to hide. Britney went the extra mile to make sure she atleast heard her in the house. She also made sure she had food, water and cleaned her kitty box. I would highly recommend her to take care of your pets!”

“Kattie was wonderful! She took great care of my two older dogs & even sent pics during her visit! She even fit us in last minute for the holiday weekend. So grateful for Kattie!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for friends and family since I was 20. I don’t own one currently but I have owned one majority of my life. I currently work full time 8 to 5 but I’m off every weekend. My fiancé works nights and every other weekend so I do have a lot of free time at night and on the weekends. I have taken care of many friends pets in their home and always want to help out if they need me to watch their pets.
About: After having to beg my parents for my first dog growing up, and raising him all on my own, I developed an appreciation for the love and attention raising a pup requires. I look forward to providing the best care for your pets as well. I currently have a very free schedule and have the ability to provide dog sitting/walking services 7 days a week. Can’t wait to provide your pets with the best possible care! Unfortunately I’m unable to offer boarding services; however, whether I’m just taking your pet for a walk or sitting them, I will treat them as if they’re my own.

About: What sets me apart is my 10+ years of personal, hands-on pet ownership combined with professional animal care experience. Over the past decade, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and reptiles (including turtles), giving me a strong understanding of species-specific needs, routines, and behavior. I’m experienced with puppies, including patience, consistency, and reinforcing basic training, as well as senior pets, where I focus on comfort, mobility support, medication schedules, and close health monitoring. My long-term experience with cats includes litter box management, recognizing behavior changes, and providing low-stress care, while my reptile experience has built strong attention to detail with habitat setup, feeding schedules, and environmental health. This blend of real-life ownership and advanced animal knowledge allows me to provide dependable, attentive, and genuinely compassionate care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM, which gives me daytime availability for pet sitting, drop-in visits, feedings, walks, and medication administration. Because my schedule is consistent, I’m able to plan reliable check-ins, maintain routines for pets, and provide attentive care without rushing. This overnight work schedule allows me to be flexible during the day and early evening while ensuring pets receive consistent, dependable attention. I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment for every pet in my care. Whether in my home or a client’s, I ensure the space is secure, clean, and pet-friendly, removing hazards and creating areas where pets can relax comfortably. I follow each pet’s specific routine and instructions, including feeding, medications, exercise, and enrichment, while monitoring behavior and health closely. I build trust through gentle handling, consistent communication, and positive reinforcement, so pets feel safe and cared for. My experience with dogs, cats, and reptiles allows me to adapt to different temperaments and needs, ensuring every animal receives attentive, responsible, and loving care.
About: I am flexible with any care your pet may need. I have a direct line to a vet clinic where I also work at. I also accept pets with prescribed medications or special needs. Exotics are also welcome, and I provide services for large animal such as horses, livestock, and/or farm animals! I try to be as flexible as possible to work around my schedule. I go to school so most visits would be extended afternoon visits, but weekends would be completely open. I require detailed and clear instructions of the exact care you want your pet to have. Such as do they have specific feed or potty times etc. all written on a hard copy. I take your special care needs seriously and like to make sure everything is done correctly; therefore, please be available to answer a text or phone call at any time.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 34 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across West Point. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
