About: For many years I have provided compassionate care for dogs, cats, and even farm animals. Having had a rescue farm for 20 years, I have had the privilege of adopting and rescuing dogs, cats, sheep and goats and caring for each of them from homing to crossing the Rainbow Bridge. About: *Recently moved to Yarmouth, Maine and back on Rover - accepting new clients* 🐾 🐾 Rates 🐾 🐾 I am happy to travel but may need to add a mileage fee for bookings outside of my 15 minute radius. All rates are negotiable. *Boarding: I only host 1 family's pets at a time. This provides a safer environment for your pet and an "at home" feel with plenty of attention, especially for reactive or aging dogs. I don't use crates or kennels but if you want to bring yours along that is fine, I also have 1 medium sized crate on hand if needed. I have a very clean home and welcome pets to feel comfortable if they would like to snooze on the sofas, bed, and we have a secure fenced in yard, but I do not leave dogs unattended in the yard. I usually take my dog to the local dog parks and nature trails and would bring yours along too. 🐾 🐾 Basic Info 🐾 🐾 I am an EMT, certified in Pet CPR + First Aid. For the past 25 years, I have been an animal caretaker. My favorite part is getting to know all of the different breeds and personalities. Your pets will be treated with love, and be as comfortable in my home as yours. I always send lots of photos at the end of each day. 🐾 🐾 My daily schedule 🐾 🐾 I work from home as a university professor. My position is remote, so I am able to work anywhere with a wifi connection. I work for rover occasionally and my schedule is typically super organized and flexible. We do at least 2 active hours per day- and we try to squeeze in as many hikes as possible. My boyfriend is also very helpful with the dogs- if they are up for it, he will take them jogging every night.

About: Hello, my name is Vicki and I absolutely love animals. I used to work at a doggie daycare which was amazing. Now I work a Mon-Fri 8am-5pm job which gives me a lot of free time. I am comfortable with all size and shapes of dogs as I own and live with a 125lb rottweiler and 50 hound/pit mix. So if you have a big house horse that needs a strong walker I'm more than comfortable with that. But I also have two cats that are 7 and 9 pounds so I'm very happy with a small cuddle buddy as well. On top of dogs and cats I have taken care of lizards, fish, and a bird. If your baby has a heartbeat and love I can't wait to spend time with them. As stated above I work 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday so I am not out super late or early in the morning. I like to take my own dogs on adventure walks/hikes after I get home and on weekends. As I will be staying in your home I like to come by before the stay so that A: you and your pet can meet me and to B: ask you about the routine in your home. Whether you have rooms, crates, eating schedules, medication etc. I am also more than happy to read any lists or guides that you feel the need to leave as it helps me to make sure nothing is overlooked or forgotten.

About: I have owned my own dogs from puppies to senior dogs. I don’t have any professional pet care experience but I am very compassionate and love spending time with dogs! I am an avid hiker and outdoor lover so dog walking is a perfect opportunity for me. I work full time from Tuesday to Sunday so the Monday and Sunday are best for me. Anytime of day will work! Early morning during the week may also work. I will find safe areas to walk your dog and always clean up after them. I will also bring water and a portable bowl for them to drink from.

About: I've been caring for animals since I was young, pet-sitting for our neighbors. I have experience with all sorts of breeds of dogs of all ages and cats. I have experience with feeding, walking, training, and bathing dogs. I am currently working full-time throughout the weekdays. I would be available for daytime care on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am available throughout the week days after 5 pm. I can take your dogs out for walks around town, the dog park, or your neighborhood. If transporting in the car I have multiple ways to make sure they are safe including harnessing them, crating them, etc. I am also able to bathe the dog if desired.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since 2015, although I’ve always grown up around animals. What started as helping friends and family while they were out of town—sometimes for weeks or even months—quickly became something I truly enjoy and take pride in. I believe that building trust with both pets and their owners is key to providing the best care possible. Before any stay, I like to meet the pet and owner together to get familiar with their routine, any special activities they enjoy, and any health needs I should be aware of. This helps ensure a smooth transition and allows me to care for each pet as if they were my own I recently moved to Maine in May, and I am excited to make this my forever home.
