About: Hello! I am home for the summer and looking to spend my time with adorable pets and show them some love! I have been taking care of my two dogs since the 5th grade and I just graduated college. I love going for walks and playing fetch. I’m also content chilling on the couch and watching doggies nap. Most days I don’t have any obligations throughout the whole day and can work my daily tasks and errands around walking or checking on dogs. I always make sure my pets have water available all the time, especially in the summer. My dogs usually go on a leash when they are outside, and I feel most comfortable walking dogs with a leash. My dogs eat at the same time every day and get lots of attention when inside.

About: I am 23 years old and currently am a stay home mom (9 month old son) and have a part time job (1-2 days a week) at a dog kennel as a receptionist/kennel attendant/groomer. I also have 3 pets. My pets include Bentley (12 year old Yorkshire Terrier), Hadley (2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and Jaxon (goldfish). I enjoy spending time with not only my pets but also the ones I pet sit. I love meeting new animals and learning about their personalities. Pet sitting jobs by me can include; going for walks, playing games such as fetch or tug of war, relaxing and getting belly rubs, and updates and or pictures to the owner (if wanted). To me animals are not just pets they are part of the family as well. I’m currently a stay at home mom to the sweetest 9 month old boy (Charlie). So my schedule is very flexible for taking care of your furry family members :) My 9 month old son would be with me for visits/walks. He has been around dogs of many sizes since birth. I have my own 2 small dogs and my mom has a large lab and an elder small dog as well. So, he is very gentle with all pets he meets.

About: I’m a full time certified veterinary technician! So I have experience with all different breeds, ages, and personalities of dogs and cats! Before going to college, I would often pet sit for family and friends when needed. Because of my job, I know how to give medications, injections, trim nails, express anal glands, etc. I have a B.S. in veterinary nursing and recently passed the state board to become certified. I have 3 Australian Cattle Dogs - Bentley, Beau, and Scout. And also 3 cats - Josie, Luca, and Finn! I currently work full time during the week. I have off on Tuesdays and weekends. I could easily stop in after work other days during the week however. I’m more than willing to take the time to leash walk all dogs in the house if you don’t have a fenced in yard. Just let me know what works best for them!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 14; I’ve trained and cared for my golden as well as the four cats in my household. I’ve also started taking on strays! I work full time over the week and I am more than capable making any stops from work or even filling up my weekends taking care of your pet. I am very flexible with instructions if need be. I’ll take care of your dogs or cats with care and diligence. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have a wonderful neighborhood that I can walk your pet in.

About: No discrimination here! I love all sizes, breeds, and ages. With over 20 years of experience, I have grown up with dogs pretty much my entire life. Your dog will be treated as if they were my own. We like to start and end every day with potty breaks along with atleast two walks per day. We allow your children to sit and sleep wherever they like. I am currently working full-time (about 15 minutes away from home), but my boyfriend (also a Rover sitter) works from home and can do daily potty breaks if needed.

About: Going up as a kid I have helped care for multiple animals including dogs that were being pet sitted in our home. I have also cared for my own animals, cats and horses, over the last 23 years. In this time I have worked at a horse boarding facility and have done horse sitting for neighbors while they were on vacation. Currently I have 2 dogs which I watch and walk on a regular basis for friends and this has prompted me to want to do this for others as well. I do have experience caring for wounds and giving oral/topical medication. I have also done insulin shots in the past but it has been a while. I currently work full-time Monday thru Thursday and would have available time Thursday evening thru Sunday evening to perform walks or other pet siting needs. I routinely inspect the home space yours or mine for hazards and cleanliness. I currently have a small fenced area where your dog can easily have free time. I also enjoy visiting dog parks and walking well maintained trails. If pet sitting for a cat litter boxes will be cleaned 2x daily or as requested by client.

About: I’ve taken care of animals pretty much my whole life. I started out walking dogs around the neighborhood and moved my way up to training bullmastiffs with my family. We have had bullmastiffs for a few years now and I absolutely adore big dog breeds! I would love to take care of your animals for you!! I’m currently a student at Virginia tech so I will have free time in between classes and a majority of the day! My schedule is pretty flexible however you may need! I can feed, play with, brush, bathe, walk, run, whatever your pets may need, I can do for them and for you to make your life easier!

About: We love dogs and cats we grew up surrounded by them, we have 2 dogs and 2 cats, I teach my children love and respect for animals We work from home so we can give you time to take them out to the yard to play at home or outdoors. We have Leia (cat), Nexu (cat), Padme (Dog) and Percy (Dog) a beautiful, super-friendly chocolate Lab and Golden retriever who loves to play with other animals. Your pet will always receive love in our house, we will treat them with one more member of our family, with fresh water and food, they will have company to play, you can trust that they will have excellent care In the morning the first thing we do is take them to pee and poop, then we give them food. It usually comes out again 20 or 30 minutes after eating. We work from home so breaks for pee and poo are constant approximately every 1 or 2 hours maximum. I have a beautiful chocolate labrador that can be the perfect company for your pet, I don't have a fence but my neighborhood is safe and my back yard is big to play in we use thelong leachs, we can take him to pee and poop with his dog collar or keep an eye on him if he likes being without a dog collar

About: Hello! My name is Samantha and I am a graduate student who enjoys working out and loves pets. I am looking to earn some extra cash to save up for expenses during physical therapy school while getting in my exercise and spending time with animals. I had to put down my beagle-basset mix around two years ago, so I really miss being around and taking care of a furry friend! I see Rover as a win-win situation--your dog gets the care and exercise they need while I do, too! I have experience taking care of small and medium-sized dogs. I can also walk large dogs, I just have not had the opportunity to. Feel free to message me with any questions. Thank you for reading! I am finished with my internship by 11:00 AM each day. On Tuesdays I have class at 5:00 PM, and Wednesdays I have class until 4:00 PM. Fridays I have completely off, and can usually walk whenever unless I'm traveling. While I don’t take care of pets in my current household, I will thoroughly complete what you need me to do for drop-ins in your own home. I prefer taking dogs for walks through neighborhoods with established sidewalks and typically will cross the street if I see any other dogs coming the direction if they aren't fond of others. I’m not super ecstatic of dog parks, just because I’m not the most knowledgeable person about how your dog reacts with other dogs—this is just a personal safety measure. I would never want anything happening to your best friend! I would take waste bags along with me for the walk, and will always have my phone and keys handy in case of an emergency.

About: i’ve taken care of dogs of pitbulls and smaller breeds since 2017! animals can sense the good energy in people and the animals i have taken care of love being around me. over the summer my availability open more since i take days off work so your pup would have so much fun hanging out with me while getting taken care off! i love nature so i would love to take him around on parks,walks,hikes i also love to take them on a swim and enjoy with them. i love keeping animals company not making them feel lonely or make them nervous to be around me i love to make them feel safe give them love and peace i also love to play with them and if the dog is being taken care off in my home i do have a fence yard so he can run freely

About: I have been dog sitting for the past 7 years. I have experience with dogs of all ages/sizes and own a 3 year old Great Pyrenees myself! I also have experience with senior/special needs dogs. I am also confident in helping you train your new puppy how to walk! My schedule is thankfully super flexible so it’s easy for me to add walks into my days as a fun way to fill my extra time! I'm a per diem registered nurse who works evenings and nights so I have lots of time from morning to afternoon to care for your pet. I generally walk my bulldog daily so I'd love to tire out your fur baby too! I am available Monday to Thursday, preferably 0830-200 (with flexibility) to assist you with your pet needs! I have well trained, loved animals at home. In coming to your home, I hope to continue to love your pet like my own while complying to whatever rules you set for the animal and myself. I believe in teaching dogs to walk well on a leash without being too stringent. Safety is always priority as well as making your cat/dog feel at ease.

About: Hi, my name is Brenda! I have had pets my entire life, and I currently own a Shichon, Golden Doodle and a Shitzu. I have started caring for others in addition to my own! I would love to care for your furry friend! I am very responsible and reliable pet sitter, and will take great care of your pet! I am currently working full-time. After June 5th I will be available during the summer for days and weekends until I go back to work at the school. At that time I will be available evenings and weekends. About: I grew up surrounded by all kinds of different dogs which is where my passion for four-legged animals began. In college, I studied Animal Science where I took classes like animal behavior, animal disease and animal nutrition to become well versed in animal husbandry. I worked as a kennel technician at an animal shelter for 3 years where I was directly involved in the handling, cleaning, enrichment, and vetting of up to 50 dogs daily. I am currently working a part-time job which allows me to have extra time to hang out with some four-legged friends! I can be pretty flexible depending on the day, but have most mornings and evenings available to help you out with your pet care needs! As someone who has worked with and studied the proper techniques, I can ensure that your four-legged friends are in the best of hands.
