“This was our second stay with Jaideep and we’re very happy with the thoughtfulness and care he took of Nova. She seemed very happy and relaxed with her stay. We will use him again for future needs. I highly recommend Jaideep and his wife.”

“Oleg was wonderful to work with. He was responsive and took our dogs last minute when we had to go out of town for a funeral. Our pups had so much fun with his family and his lab. They both came home exhausted from lots of play time! We will definitely use Oleg’s services again.”

“Daisy’s stay with Pam and Mike was perfect! Pam sent us picture and video updates every day and it was clear that Daisy felt right at home with Pam, Mike and their dogs! Would 100% rebook with them. They are truly dog lovers and will treat your dog as their own.”

“Teresa took great care of my fur baby while I was away for 7 days. I missed my puppy so much but Teresa was very good about sending pictures and updates. Would recommend using Teresa, and I will use her again to watch Toula.”

“Deanna and her family made our pup Franco feel right at home. She sent so many updates and pictures - it was nice to know that he was being well taken care of! Franco struggles with separation anxiety and also gets overwhelmed when a lot of going on. Deann and her family over accommodated for him and we cannot thank them enough.”

“Rocky seemed to have a good time there. He got to play with their dogs and everything went well. Steffany was polite and positive. Would definitely use them to sit Rocky again.”

“Anton and his wife were great. They worked around our changing travel plans and took great care of our dog Roxy. They are excellent communicators and send timely updates and photos. I would highly recommend them to watch your pets!”

“Yianna watched our year and a half old lab, Mazzy, who still has tons of puppy energy. She was patient with Mazzy and provided us with updates and pictures. If we come back to the area and need a sitter again, we would happily choose Yianna.”

“Wow Missy is fantastic, she sent me messages before we took our dog over to make sure we were OK with everything. Made sure to introduce the dogs in a safe and controlled manner. Spent time with us settling our 1st time nerves and then sent updates and pictures the whole time Artemis was there. Our dog had a fantastic time and I think given the choice she would have stayed longer. We will definitely be going back and I will look at dropping her off for day care once a month at least to keep the friendship between the dogs going and make sure Artemis is excited to go over. Your dog will be safe and well cared for here.”

“This is the third time we have left our dog with Mandeep. Niko comes home tired and happy every time. They send photos and videos of his stay so we can actually see what he's doing. He's always roaming the yard. There's no one else we can trust more than Mandeep. Thank you!”

“Sandra and Antione were great! Stella seemed happy when we picked her up. Sandro was great about sending regular updates and pictures. I would definitely use them again next time I am traveling out of the Harrisburg area.”

“Celestia and Ryan were absolutely great. They accommodated my last-minute trip and boarded my dog Rocky for two nights and three days. They sent me pictures and videos, which ease my worries. Rocky had the best time. I will definitely be using them again. Thank you so much Celestia and Ryan.”

About: I’ve owned doggies for the last 15 years. Twice did I have two dogs under my care for over a years’ time. I cared for a senior dog, during the last year of his life. I made sure the only things he thought about were loves and snuggles. Dogs are a gift. I work from home 8-4 Tuesday through Friday, with an in office day on Mondays. I can do most of my work from a laptop anywhere that has Wi-Fi. I have a small fenced in back yard that is large enough for 2-3 dogs at once. I live in a quiet neighborhood, right next to a park. Plenty of space for walks and potty breaks.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 9 years old, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I grew up with the sweetest Saint Bernard and have had 5 adorable kitties over the years. I like to call myself a professional cat entertainer. In 2023, I finally got my own fur baby who is spoiled rotten and my favorite thing in the world. I pet and house sit regularly for my friends and neighbors with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even some horses. Sometimes that means staying overnight because one pup has bad separation anxiety, so I’m comfortable giving extra love and attention. Cats might be my favorite to work with but I love all cuties just the same! I’m working full time and right now, I get off work around 2:30pm. I am available for 30 minutes during the work day on my lunch break and during the afternoon/ nights. I have a large back yard and fenced in pool area for dogs with lots of room in the house for laying, playing, or exploring. I currently do not own a dog so any visiting dogs should bring with their favorite toys for extra entertainment. I am not living in a development but have plenty of walking trails in close proximity, including Big Boyd’s Tree Preserve, Front Street, Fort Hunter, and Wildwood Park. There are 3 cats living in the house who have been acclimated to dogs. We have separate rooms for visiting cats to stay with extra litter boxes, scratching posts, an abundance of toys, and a few humans to play with and love on.

“I really can't give a complete review because the Kayla's home is on a military base. The family met me off base. They were very nice and when I picked up my dog, she was happy and seemed fine. I wouldn't hesitate to use Kayla again.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats for 16+ years, my dog for 7 years and counting, and I briefly worked at Canine Clubhouse for almost 2 months. I am available for dog sitting, doggy daycare, and cat sitting since I am a stay at home mom to my 2 amazing boys and I have 1 dog and 2 cats. At home my cats are grazers and eat when they want to and my dog gets fed twice a day with a mix of dry and wet food and has to be let outside on a leash because our backyard is not currently fenced in.
About: I'm more than just a pet sitter—I'm a lifelong pet owner with hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals. I currently own German Shepherds, cats, and parrots, so I understand that every pet has unique needs, personalities, and routines. I have experience with: Large, high-energy breeds like German Shepherds. Cats that need patience, gentle handling, and individualized care. Intelligent birds such as parrots, including providing enrichment, fresh food, and recognizing their unique behaviors. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family, focusing on safety, reliability, and keeping them happy and comfortable while you're away. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, or simply stick to a routine, I'll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. Pet care fits well into my schedule, allowing me to provide dependable and attentive care throughout the day. I have the flexibility to accommodate feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medication administration (if needed), and plenty of one-on-one attention. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I do my best to keep them on their normal routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and stress-free while you're away. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special care or medications they require. I take the time to get to know each pet's personality, whether they enjoy lots of activity or prefer a calm environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they're away. I'm experienced caring for large dogs, cats, and parrots, and I always treat every pet with the same patience, respect, and attention I'd give my own.
“Alexandra has walked my dog for me in the past and just boarded him for the weekend for me too. If I could give her more than five stars- I would. She’s a sweetheart and I know my dog is always safe & entertained with her. She even went above and beyond and came and picked him up for me to make things easier. She sent pictures & videos throughout the whole weekend which we loved! I’d definitely recommend her and will always use her in the future. Thanks again Alex!!! ☺️”
“Jandi was amazing!! She was so flexible with our schedule. She sent pictures and videos of our pup having fun at her home. We will 100% use her again when we come back to Carlisle!”

About: I recently just got a puppy of my own so I am very experience with taking care of puppies! I also had several dogs growing up so I am good with dogs of all ages. Most of my availability will be on the weekends, however I will be available some mornings and most evenings as well if needed. My schedule may differ week to week! I am all about making sure the dog's needs are being met, whether that be long walks or playing with them indoors! Anything that your dog needs I will try my best to provide!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oriental
Kerrie was GREAT! She was so engaged and responsive, and treated my pup just like the rest of her family. I appreciated her specific questions around care and all of the pictures and updates she sent to me. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality sitter. 5 stars.

Kerrie, Oren & the kids are great 👍 I have a Great Dane and 1st impressions are usually "WHOA" but they were very open and welcoming. He enjoyed his stay very much and I think he's missing them a lot. I am definitely going to use Kerrie again as a sitter. Easy going and best boarder I've used in years. Thank you, Kerrie & Oren.

97% of sitters in Oriental can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Oriental.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
