“JB took amazing care of our two cats when we had to go out of town unexpectedly over Thanksgiving!! She handled their care in the most professional manner, perfectly following the care instructions to make sure both cats got the food and medicine they needed. We especially apprecited the videos and pictures she sent us, it was clear to us that they had a ball with her! We will definitely be re-booking JB in the future and would highly reccomend her for your pet care needs.”

“I’m very satisfied with the job Makala did with my cats and house during her stay. Both cats were very well cared for. Spooky may have even gained a little weight and Camo seems less jumpy and wants more pets. I would definitely call on Makala again when I get another chance to travel. I hope the arrangement worked out well for her also and I wish her all the luck in the world with her new business.”

“Mona did such a wonderful job with our dog while we were gone. She wrote to us every day and sent pictures twice daily. She is positive, very reliable, professional and fun. We returned to a young dog who was calm, secure and well cared for after the longest stretch she had experienced away from her family ever. That is such a wonderful compliment to Mona's care and caring and we thank her so much.”

Any extra care such as meds or specific feeding is no problem!

About: I grew up around a lot of different animals as a family member of mine worked for a rescue clinic. I have always loved animals, especially dogs and cats. I have experience with big dogs as I grew up around Saint Bernards and German Shepherds. I also have experience with high energy dogs as my dog is a pitbull mix. I also have experience volunteering at the Alachua County Humane Society. I am currently working part time. However, I do have availability to do walks and drop ins in the evenings after work, on Fridays, and on the weekends. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs. I believe that pets are a part of the family and should be taken care of just as well as the rest of the family. I would also love to help those high energy dogs get their energy out!

“Susanna took amazing care of my cat and dog while I was away — and she even surprised me with a beautiful drawing of my pet! I got regular updates and adorable photos, and I came home to a clean space and happy animals. Even while feeling under the weather, she still made the effort to check in on them briefly — which was so thoughtful, even though she absolutely deserved to rest. That kind of dedication is rare and so appreciated. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and genuinely caring, Susanna is the one!”

“Kristina was great! Very reliable and sent tons of pictures to give me peace of mind. I had never used Rover before, and she was very reassuring and taught me how it worked when we had a meet and greet. She gave me very descriptive updates of how my cat was doing, including videos of them playing! I would definitely use Kristina again.”

About: Hi there! My name is Marissa, and I am hoping to become a trusted caretaker for you & your fur family within the Gainesville community. My whole life, my family has always had a house full of animals- from dogs and cats to lizards, birds, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Now, as an adult, I have 3 dogs and 3 cats, all with extremely unique and different personalities. I spent 6 years volunteering at my local humane society and have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for all sizes and breeds of dogs! I am very comfortable with any breed of dog and I am also very respectful of cats, I am keen on pets cues for boundaries. I understand all pets are different and I’d be honored to help you and your fur family in your time of need, while on vacation, etc. I’ve used rover in the past as a customer and have had good experiences with the app. I am new to this area but if you give me a chance I promise to take the best care of your pets while building trust in this community. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you! I have open availability at the moment as I am self employed. I’m willing to work my schedule around your schedule! I have no problem waking up very early or stopping by very late and any time in between. I am open to over night stays as well. Every pet is unique and different in their own way. I have had a lot of experience with my own pets and my time volunteering at the humane society - I understand some dogs try to run out every chance they get or some dogs are food aggressive. I typically like to know your routine, with detailed notes/stopping by and introducing myself so you can show me how to properly care for your pet(s) while you are away. Trust is important and I know it can be scary using an app for pet care. Our pets are our family and I hope to start building a reliable reputation within this community.

“Bruny is AMAZING. I am so attached to my cat also knowing that he has cancer and Bruny gave me peace knowing Rory is ok when I went travelling for Spring Break. I didn't have to worry whether if he was OK because Bruny would always send me updates and pictures of how Rory was doing. When we had our meet-up, she showed her knowledge in taking care of Rory and making sure that everything is set and ready to go. SHE IS AMAZINGGGGG! I highly recommend you booking her. Her personality is the best and she genuinely cares about taking care of your pet. My boyfriend and I just also recently rescued a cat (staying at my BF place) and she donated bowls and food for her and it was the most sweetest thing ever. Seriously, you can't go wrong with booking Bruny! I would definitely book her again.”

7. Lindsay P.
“I cannot recommend Lindsay highly enough!! Taking care of my 2 kitties while I was away made me anxious. My older girl has some major breathing issues and my younger kitty is naturally anxious. I get anxious leaving my girls in the hands of someone else because of both of my kitties issues. I was impressed by Lindsay’s thoroughness and love of cats. Lindsay asked detailed questions and made me feel comfortable entrusting my girls with her. Both my girls love attention and loved to be brushed. I thought asking Lindsay to brush my kitties was a weird request but Lindsay enthusiastically agreed and handled my girls with exceptional care and professionalism. My girls love her. During my trips, Lindsay would send daily updates with the cutest pics and videos which gave me such a great peace of mind my girls were in good care. Lindsay is very reliable and passionate about care. I will definitely be using her services again in the future.”

Chloe is completely trustworthy, dependable and I highly recommend her for any dog or dog & house sitting opportunities that may arise.”
