They are beautiful dogs and so protective. I always helped my grandparents all the time with the dogs. We would have 6 or more dogs in the household all at once, so I have experience with having multiple dogs at once. Additionally, I can teach them tricks such as giving paw, sitting, laying, etc. I have experience from puppies to senior dogs as I know they required different type of care. Now, I work for myself from home full-time, nurturing the animals in my care. Quick story: One day, I noticed my mom’s chihuahua-papillon mix, Jacques Cousteau, scrunching his face as he tried to eat crunchy food. I went to PetSmart and brought home the healthiest soft food I could find. When he braced himself to bite into it but didn’t hurt his old teeth, he ran over and jumped onto my lap, licking my whole face until I was laughing, knowing he felt seen. He gained a few pounds over the next few weeks (6 pounds to 9, 50% more!). I was so happy that he could eat again without pain. He lived to be about 15 years old! For a chihuahua, that’s a very long happy life. I will treat your dog like it’s my own. Please share any special care needs with me. I am able to be very attentive. Your dog will be my top priority. I cater to special needs. Happy to send photos throughout the day. We treat them like family and have 4 responsible adults who share the space, all love dogs. Our yard has a 6-ft fence and a very cozy home.

About: I have grown up with many pets so I am used to being around all kinds of animal. My first pet was a Great Dane and my most recent a chihuahua mix so I know how to take care of any sized animal. I’ve had much experience with caring for dogs as I volunteer at the Humane Society of North Central Florida while attending UF. With 4 years of pet sitting experience I hope to provide the best care possible for your fur babies. I am currently a college student at the University of Florida. I have a light schedule so I would be able to care for pets between classes and all day after them! I have watched many different kinds of dogs and I know how each family had different rules regarding their dogs. My dogs utilize the fenced in back yard but I also love a good walk or day trip with them. I am very good at reading the body language of a dog so I can also try to avoid any dangerous situations when walking by myself.

About: I’ve work with dogs and other animals for the last 8 years. From puppies to seniors and everything in between. I’ve also helped train a few service dogs and actively show and compete in sports with my own dog. My life is centered around my dog and I work from home. I can be extremely flexible to fit almost any need or rigorous schedule. I have an apartment by myself, with my 1 dog, with nice trails and fenced in areas to let pets play off leash. About: Throughout the past few years, I've sat for several of my neighbors and friend’s dogs, from yorkies to pit bulls. This includes both walks and visits to provide food, water, and fun. Caring for my own dog, Charlotte, in recent years has given me experience in caring for senior dogs. This includes accommodating for hearing loss, blindness, low energy, and stomach problems. I am a student at UF looking for a fun way to spend my free time. My current schedule somewhat flexible other than my classes. On Monday, Wednesday, Friday, I am free early mornings until 8:00 AM, around noon, and in the evenings. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am available all morning until 11:30 and in the evenings after 5:00 PM. Weekends that are marked as available are flexible. This works around my classes schedule, volunteering, and other obligations. Safety is my number one priority when caring for your best friend(s). When walking dogs in Florida, I have found it extremely important to monitor the weather and your pets breathing. I will always ensure they have access to enough water and food at meal time. And if they’re allowed, I love giving them the occasional treat.
About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have plenty of hands-on experience from caring for my own dog, who is about 100 pounds! Having a large dog has made me very comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also trained her myself, so I have experience with basic commands, routines, leash walking, and being patient and consistent. I’m used to planning my day around my own dog’s needs, so caring for pets is already a normal part of my everyday life. I’m also flexible throughout the week and can work with different schedules depending on what you and your pet need! I always make safety and comfort my top priorities when caring for someone’s pet. I’ll follow any instructions and routines the owner provides, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific rules they have for their pet. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and are never put in an unsafe situation. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’ll also be respectful of their space and make sure everything is kept clean and secure. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, so I’ll always care for them like I would my own!
About: Hi thanks for considering me for the care of your tiny baby! I’ve been pet sitting full time in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Tampa area (I am now in Gainesville, FL) for over 4 years now but in that time I’ve met over a dozen new families! It feels crazy that I've made lifelong connections with something that was just supposed to be part time. (If you can’t tell I LOVE my job and enjoying connecting and caring for every new family.🥰 ) I took about a year off, only pet sitting for my regulars but now that I'm settled into Gainesville I'm opening my schedule for new clients! As far as a daily routine I like to adapt to whatever the dog or cat's schedule is but at the end of the night love ending up on the couch cuddling watching tv! Since I do this full time my schedule is according to my client's pretty simple. On my days off though I still like to keep a routine sleeping until my cat cries for wet food, stretching, and journaling every single morning. Throughout the week I do strength training and am taking an online bookkeeping class. Safety for me and you pet is always going to be number one over everything. If a dog or cat feels unsafe, things can only go down from there. The key is to give a fearful or uncomfortable pet SPACE and let them come to me.

This time is perfect for me to come visit or board a cat at home since I am generally home from 2-3pm until the rest of the day. I live in a cat/kitten proof apartment with a closed patio. There is a lot of toys, and two cat trees. I am very patient with cats and educated on ways to make them as comfortable as possible in a new/ stressful environnement.

They kindly accommodated my requests and instructions, and gave her medications on time. They were incredibly kind, attentive and clearly very loving to her during her stay! The photos and videos Will sent clearly showed how relaxed my cat was during her stay (which is not usually the case when boarded) and that they made her feel at home. Communication was also excellent, with constant updates throughout her stay. Will definitely re-book with them!!”
