“Jordyn was great with our dogs and was available to take care of them and has offered to take them on walks on a weekly basis too. She is punctual, taking the task in hand seriously while being a great help. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”

About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working as a veterinary assistant in PV. My schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:30/9:00am to 5pm. If your pet is able to be left home while I work then perfect! Otherwise I am fully available for long weekends. :) In my own home I have reptiles and three cats and one older dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. Any opportunity to play and have some fun, we’re doing it! If they’re more laid back and want to snooze next to me, I will relax with them.

“Cynthia took good care of my kitten who alternates between needing play and lap naps. She’s very easy to coordinate with and was flexible in my changing schedule. I have no worry about the pets when I know she’s taking care of them. Thanks Cynthia!”

“This was our first time using a pet sitter, and Rachel set the bar so high! She went out of her way to make sure we could introduce our cats to her before our vacation and provided detailed, timely updates after every visit. Even our more skittish cat warmed up to her after just a few days, and Rachel provided extra support checking on a wound our cat got right before we left. We’re looking forward to rebooking her anytime we need pet care in the future!”

About: I have taken my mother's lab to trips to the groomer as well as getting her to be patient during bath time. I also taught her to wait for her food to be poured before eating, taught her a few tricks such as, sitting, speaking, and how to walk beside me appropriately on a leash without dragging. I only work part-time for the rest of the year, so my schedule is quite available. I have availability Mondays - Thursdays all day. I can also do overnight stays as well! I have my senior cat roam anywhere in the house, he is mainly outside. However, due to his old age, he is fragile and I don't want to change routine too much, he also needs lots of my attention and affection while I am home. I am willing to come to you instead! reducing the hassle of having to drop-off!

About: Offering a safe home away from home, compassionate care, and peace of mind for pet owners is something that all pet sitters should be offering. I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly. I do the same with every animal that I am given care of, gently coaching them to be civil, furry companions while showering them with love. I am currently working from home and set my own schedule. I have a set daily morning and evening walk which your pup(s) will join. During the day, you pup(s) will have company of two dogs, three cats and plenty of pets from me. On weekends we go on adventure hikes. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company during the day. I have crates, leashes, grooming tools and home made dog beds for all pet care needs.

“Nicole took great care of my cats! I asked her to drop in twice per day for cat medication and to refill their automated wet feeders. She stayed and played with them and even helped troubleshoot one of the feeders when it was acting up. This is the second time she's taken care of my cats while I was away and I would definitely ask her to do so again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Ophir Hill Acres
Natalie was super sweet, and though one of our cats took a while to warm up to her (unlike his brother), he came around, as she showed in a pic of him enjoying a head-scratching. I really appreciated the daily photos. She followed the written instructions I left, and any adjustments we had to make to drop-in times were minor. Next time we need her, I think a morning and an early evening drop-in would be more in keeping with the cats' current feeding schedule. I hope we can work that out with her, whenever that happens. Thanks again, Natalie!

We were scrambling last minute due to a medical issue. Paola stepped up quickly—helping us through a challenging time. We arrived back home with two happy kitties waiting for us. Paola was professional, kind, caring and communicative . We are very thankful for her and heartily recommend her to anyone desiring pet care.

Annie is a wonderful pet sitter. My two nervous dogs fell in love with her immediately and she has been a huge help to me in managing their anxiety and training issues. She is flexible, loving, and patient with the dogs and can be firm when she needs to be. Annie has been doing drop-in visits at my house and is punctual, friendly, responsible and professional. I am happy to recommend Annie's services to any other prospective clients - she is a delight to work with!

Cydney was amazing with my puppy! She went above and beyond what I asked or expected, and I am so appreciative! My pup was instantly comfortable with her and in the short span of time that she dropped in, she was able to feed and exercise Pickles so that she got a satisfactory break from her crate. I also made a mistake in the initial booking and Cydney was flexible and worked with me, which I again am so appreciative for. I would recommend booking Cydney for any animal care that you need, she’s awesome!

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
