“Kerry is by far the most amazing pet loving and accommodating person out there. We have been repeat customers and our dog Frankie absolutely loves her. (We do too) Our family always feels safe knowing Frankie has a second home to go to. We just finished a two week trip and didn’t worry once about the care of our fur baby. I cannot recommend her enough. She is the best of the best.”

“Abbie experienced another nice visit with Robert and Michelle recently. Abbie loves the ability to play with the other dogs so she gets plenty of exercise. It's obvious that they enjoy animals and we are comfortable leaving Abbie in their care, and will be back again soon!”

“Our dog Ruby had a great time staying with Paula for several days while we went to the coast. Ruby got lots of loves and attention just like she was their own. She was excellent with communication and we got lots of pictures which were wonderful to see while we were gone. Paula took excellent care of our spoiled Ruby girl!”

About: With a sprawling 2-acre yard fully fenced, your dog has a safe haven to romp and play freely. They'll revel in the boundless space, indulging their playful instincts with joy. My schedule is wide open, granting me ample time to devote to your beloved dog. I'm prepared to provide attentive care, ensuring their happiness and well-being. The back of the property is fenced with an additional kennel on the back of the house. The back of the house has a large pet door so pups can go in and out as they please but can be shut in the evening to keep them safe but allow them to use the bathroom whenever they need. I have 1 french bulldog cooper and a cat Maylie they are best friends and love to play with other pets.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 8 years old. Whether bathing or going for a walk I will make their needs my priority. Family members have entrusted me with their pets care for decades. I will do the same for your furry family. We would go for a walk in the morning after breakfast and play fetch after lunch. Potty breaks every 2 hours and scheduled play time. I have 1 friendly dog and 1 loveable cat. We do not have a fenced yard but we have tons of open spaces for running and playing. We would go for a walk in the morning after breakfast and play fetch after lunch. Potty breaks every 2 hours and scheduled play time.
“This was our first time having Susan watch our two goldendoodles. It went very well, and we were very comfortable while we were away knowing our doggies were in good hands. Great communication prior to, during and after the dog sitting. This went so well, we have already booked our next dog sitting with Susan. THANK YOU”

“Denise was super nice to our dogs and treated them very well! She did everything we asked her to do. Her house was really nice and she had a big yard. We had a delay on our flight wich of set everything for picking them up, and Denise was really kind about that and ended up watching them for an extra hour Wich was really really nice of her! The only thing that wasn’t 10/10 was that I had to ask for updates rather than her just sending them. The updates were very short. And the pictures were few. I’m not complaining.. I’m just saying that’s something that could be better! But I would use her again for sure! Her and her kids were all very sweet!”

“I asked Nicole to watch my dog on super short notice and she was super flexible when I needed to adjust my coming and going times. She seemed to really love and care about dogs!”

About: have experience with pet sitting so would love to help you out, im mostly available some weekends im not, have 3 dogs already who are mostly friendly just bark :) i work at my grandmas daycare which is at our house, 6am to 6pm but i have a break between 12:30pm-3:15pm so would play with the pet. my room is not attached to the actual house so its my own area. the pet would be in my room the times i am busy with the daycare but during break i would play with them. i have a 360 camera in my room so i am constantly watching. i would take your pet on a walk during my break or after work. i have a pet stroller for older dogs or cats so they can get fresh air. will take pet every 30mins-1 hour to go potty. during summer daycare kids play outside so would run around with it but wouldnt let kids be around if not kid friendly. also will take on drives, mostly to dog park! (if pet loves being social!)
“Taylor was great! She is a people person and our dog loved her. She was so nice to work with and took time to keep us in the loop a few times a day. We would definitely use her again. Thumbs Up!!”

“Jan was wonderful! She loved and cared for our dog like he was her own. Our dog unexpectedly became ill while we were out of town, and Jan was so good about communication and keeping us updated on his condition. We even FaceTime'd one evening so our dog could see and hear us! She sent daily photos and videos so we could see what he was up to, and even let him sleep on the bed like he does at home. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Marissa did a great job caring for my kitty! I appreciated that she made sure Little Baby felt safe and was entertained. Marissa was communicative and sent lots of pics. Id definitely book with her again. Thanks!”
About: I've taken in and cared for many varieties of pet pets. I love their true nature and genuine attitude, all animals are kind at heart if you give them time and patience. Pet care fits into my daily routine with exercise, socializing and just some relaxing time with a side companion. I am available for outside pet care Fridays-Tuesdays, as well as over nights with enough notice. My baby is a husky/wolf of 15 years, I adopted him at 6 months from a shelter when I was 18. He came to me with trauma and still has his moments, but he is trained and a loving teddybear. 😊
About: I have about ten years plus dog experience I train dogs and am learning how to groom dogs too! I love every furry friend I meet I’m currently doing online school and working from 6:30PM to 5AM but don’t worry when pets are staying there will always be someone home weather it is me or my boyfriend my work schedule is also really flexible so if needed i can stay home I have a decent size yard that is fenced in if any pets that are staying with me there is a separate run for either my dogs or yours to go in to stay separate during potty time
“Rose and her family always take grat care of our Sawyer. She sends daily updates with photos. He always has so much fun and is pooped when he comes home. We are repeat customers and will continue to be.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ontario
Paula has watched my dog, Maia, for me a few times. She is incredibly reliable, flexible, responsible, and helpful. I never have to worry about Maia when I’m gone because I know Paula is taking great care of her. Paula very clearly loves animals and knows what she’s doing. She is also great with communicating, easy to reach at all times and very responsive. If I could give Paula a six star review I would do it!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
