“Michelle and Robert were wonderful hosts to our beloved Duke! They were very prompt with all communications and provided photos and updates everyday of Duke’s visit. Check in and check out was very easy and professional. We highly recommend Michelle and Robert and will use them again in the future for boarding needs.”

“Grappa LOVED his stay with Kerry and family! He came home happy and exhausted. We had no cell service during our trip away, but we were so delighted to see so many great photos and updates of Grappa when we returned. I would Highly recommend a stay with Kerry, and we will request a booking in the future. On a side note, Kerry's location is excellent for any Idaho raft trips you are not comfortable taking a pup on. We were floating the Middle Fork and her location was excellent for our travel, and there are great tent site/RV parks in close proximity for an easy drop-off and pick-up. Thank you so very much Kerry! Lot's of Love from Grappa”

“Paula has watched my dog, Maia, for me a few times. She is incredibly reliable, flexible, responsible, and helpful. I never have to worry about Maia when I’m gone because I know Paula is taking great care of her. Paula very clearly loves animals and knows what she’s doing. She is also great with communicating, easy to reach at all times and very responsive. If I could give Paula a six star review I would do it!”

“Kayla did a wonderful job watching my pup! I will definitely use her again in the future and highly recommend. She sent updates and pictures every day which I really appreciated. I'm really happy with the level of care and attention he received from her and her family. Thank you Kayla!”

“Tasha and Matt were absolutely amazing! From the meet-and-greet to drop-off and pickup, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel completely at ease. Tasha was prompt, communicative, and kept us updated throughout our dog’s stay with lots of photos and messages. It was clear that our dog was getting plenty of love, attention, and excellent care, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We’ve used several Rover sitters in the past, and this was by far our best experience. Tasha and Matt truly went above and beyond, and we felt confident that our dog was in the best hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and are already looking forward to using them in the future. Highly recommend!”

“John confirmed our booking very fast & updated me every day on how they were doing, what they did for the day & pictures. He really enjoyed my 3 dogs & I will definitely be booking with him again as needed in the future.”

“My dog had so much fun at Nicole’s house while we were out of the town. She took good care of my dog and was very responsive and kind to send me some photos and updates on him. I’d recommend her!! :)”

About: I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my entire life. Since I was a baby, I’ve been around all sorts of animals. My love for animals has only gotten stronger since then. I like to learn all about them, and get better at caring for them. I do not have a job, so I have plenty of free time to take care of your furry companion! I am available almost throughout the entire day! I am able to house smaller animals in my home. Cats and small dogs will do just fine here, my dogs are friendly. If you are uncomfortable with having your small dog or cat near bigger dogs, then I have another place I can watch them at!
“Once again, Haley and Travis were amazing hosts for my Susie girl. I can’t say enough of good things about them. Kept in communication the whole time with pictures and she has a lot of fun playing with their dog Scout. Couldn’t ask for better people.!!”

“Our dogs had a great time staying with Denise and Casey. They hardly wanted to leave. Denise sent us updates to let us know how they were doing and kept them an extra night for us when we had an emergency. We will definitely be returning customers.”

“Jill was amazing with our dog, and she kept us well updated with photos and comments about daily activities. She has a fantastic yard and space for dogs to stretch their legs. We are going to put Jill on speed dial for future needs!”

“Bonnie did SUCH a great job with our dog! He’s a very high energy boy and she kept him entertained and engaged! She also communicated throughout his stay with messages, photos and videos! Couldn’t be happier!”

“Jan is wonderful! She has a large property for the dogs to roam around and play. She sent regular updates to let me know that the dogs were doing well. She took great care of them and it made me feel good to know that they were in good hands with her. I will be booking with her again since I am out of town often.”

“DiDi had a wonderful stay! She kept me updated with lots of photos and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. It was clear that DiDi was happy and well cared for, and he had so much fun playing with Ryder. I would definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Taylor was great! She is a people person and our dog loved her. She was so nice to work with and took time to keep us in the loop a few times a day. We would definitely use her again. Thumbs Up!!”

About: We have loved and cared for dogs nearly all our lives. We don’t just see them as pets; they are family members who deserve all the comfort and attention we can give. We are currently the proud family of Pippie, and we both play an active role in her care. Since I work from home full-time, your dog will never be lonely. Pippie is the best of both worlds - she loves to play and hang out with other dogs, but she also loves to just relax and nap. We know how hard it is to leave your furry friend behind, which is why we’re committed to providing a trustworthy, safe, and loving environment. We’ll treat your dog exactly how we treat our own—with patience, care, and plenty of affection. Because I work from home full-time, I am here to provide constant supervision, mid-day potty breaks, and companionship. Our routine revolves around Pippie's needs—mornings start with playtime and breakfast, followed by several play sessions throughout the day to burn off energy, and she usually naps under my desk as I work. With my husband and daughter coming and going, there is a constant rotation of attention. Someone is always available to care for your pet. Your dog won't just be 'fitting in' to our schedule; they will be part of our family activities, from lounging in my office while I work to evening play in the yard. We treat our guests’ schedules—like specific feeding times or medication needs—with the same priority as our own. In our home, your dog is treated like a member of the family. We have a fully fenced-in backyard, which allows for safe, off-leash playtime. Our care routine is built on consistency and comfort: Feeding & Hydration: We stick to a twice-a-day feeding schedule (or whatever your specific routine requires), and fresh water is always available. Active Supervision: Since I work from home, I provide constant supervision. Your pet will never be left unattended in the yard. Affection: We are a 'cuddle-heavy' household! Whether it’s lounging nearby while I work or getting extra attention from my husband and daughter, your dog will be showered with love. Personalized Care: We understand every dog is different. Whether they need high-energy play in the yard or a quiet spot to nap, we adapt our day to meet their specific personality and needs.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
