“Kerry was absolutely amazing with my sweet boy, Roadie! 🐾❤️ She took such great care of him and made me feel completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands. Roadie was happy, comfortable, and clearly well loved while he was with her. I’m extremely grateful she was willing to take care of him, especially on short notice. I would 100% trust Kerry with Roadie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pup like her own. Thank you so much, Kerry!”

“Michelle and Robert were great! they communicated fast, very reliable, caring and sent us updates/pictures of our furbaby. Our poodle seemed super happy to be at their home and to have other friends to play with. We will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to our friends and family!”

“Kayla took such good care of our dogs when we boarded them at her house! She sent photos every day and I got several updates on how they were doing while I was out of town. It made me feel much more comfortable leaving them with her family knowing they were taken care of and loved. We left them with Kayla and it happened to be over Halloween and she even got our little dog a costume and sent pictures (I'm one of those people so I loved it). I would HIGHLY recommend trusting Kayla with your dogs and we will definitely be using her services again!”

“Couldn't have found a better person to watch my boy Cas. Susan took great care of him and gave him lots of attention. Her husband even played ball with him. Will definitely book again!!!!”

“Our dog Ruby had a great time staying with Paula for several days while we went to the coast. Ruby got lots of loves and attention just like she was their own. She was excellent with communication and we got lots of pictures which were wonderful to see while we were gone. Paula took excellent care of our spoiled Ruby girl!”

“I was very comfortable from the start leaving Riley! This was my first time using Rover.com and it couldn’t have been easier. Thank you again for taking care of our pup! 😊”

“Nicole was thoughtful and considerate, understanding the needs and requirements of our senior dog. She sent useful updates to help us know how our family member was adapting to new and unfamiliar surroundings. Would be confident in booking her services again should needs arise.”

“Bonnie and her family were great and very accommodating. They welcomed our two dogs in and made them feel at home. We received lots of updates with pics and videos. I could tell my girls were relaxed and enjoyed their time. Thank you, Bonnie and fam!”

“Denise was absolutely wonderful. She communicated with us almost every day, and sent pictures. It really helped us feel like our pup was being well cared for I have absolutely no complaints at all and will definitely book with them again. Thank you, Denise and Casey.🐾❤️”

“Jill was easy to work with and great to communicate with us. She was very good to our labrador who clearly loved being at her house. I think he's a little depressed and missing Jill and her sweet labs. We will definitely book with Jill again.”

“She and her family took great care of our Daisy! They have a nice home with a fenced yard for playtime. Daisy clearly had the time of her life, and I got at least one picture a day of her antics! Definitely will book again!”

“Alecia and Terry were super awesome! They took wonderful care of our two fur babies, they sent daily updates and photos, which made my day! My two are on special diet which require a little more prep, Alecia did great with providing my two with what they needed, and in giving extra attention too! We will defy look to book with Alecia and Terry again in the future!”

“DiDi had a wonderful stay! She kept me updated with lots of photos and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. It was clear that DiDi was happy and well cared for, and he had so much fun playing with Ryder. I would definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Jan was wonderful! She loved and cared for our dog like he was her own. Our dog unexpectedly became ill while we were out of town, and Jan was so good about communication and keeping us updated on his condition. We even FaceTime'd one evening so our dog could see and hear us! She sent daily photos and videos so we could see what he was up to, and even let him sleep on the bed like he does at home. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Dave and Annie were great. They sent me pictures of Luna while I was gone which made me rest assured she was having a good time. They have a big backyard for the dogs to play in which is exactly what Luna needed. Would definitely recommend Dave.”

“Marissa did a great job caring for my kitty! I appreciated that she made sure Little Baby felt safe and was entertained. Marissa was communicative and sent lots of pics. Id definitely book with her again. Thanks!”

About: have experience with pet sitting so would love to help you out, im mostly available some weekends im not, have 3 dogs already who are mostly friendly just bark :) i work at my grandmas daycare which is at our house, 6am to 6pm but i have a break between 12:30pm-3:15pm so would play with the pet. my room is not attached to the actual house so its my own area. the pet would be in my room the times i am busy with the daycare but during break i would play with them. i have a 360 camera in my room so i am constantly watching. i would take your pet on a walk during my break or after work. i have a pet stroller for older dogs or cats so they can get fresh air. will take pet every 30mins-1 hour to go potty. during summer daycare kids play outside so would run around with it but wouldnt let kids be around if not kid friendly. also will take on drives, mostly to dog park! (if pet loves being social!)

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 70 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Fruitland. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Every sitter has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
Sitters may also include daily walks in the neighborhood during your dog's boarding stay. You can also request photo and message updates throughout so you can see which local landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Fruitland home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Fruitland.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Fruitland sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
