“Kerry is by far the most amazing pet loving and accommodating person out there. We have been repeat customers and our dog Frankie absolutely loves her. (We do too) Our family always feels safe knowing Frankie has a second home to go to. We just finished a two week trip and didn’t worry once about the care of our fur baby. I cannot recommend her enough. She is the best of the best.”

“Abbie experienced another nice visit with Robert and Michelle recently. Abbie loves the ability to play with the other dogs so she gets plenty of exercise. It's obvious that they enjoy animals and we are comfortable leaving Abbie in their care, and will be back again soon!”

“Tasha and Matt were absolutely amazing! From the meet-and-greet to drop-off and pickup, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel completely at ease. Tasha was prompt, communicative, and kept us updated throughout our dog’s stay with lots of photos and messages. It was clear that our dog was getting plenty of love, attention, and excellent care, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We’ve used several Rover sitters in the past, and this was by far our best experience. Tasha and Matt truly went above and beyond, and we felt confident that our dog was in the best hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and are already looking forward to using them in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Our dog Ruby had a great time staying with Paula for several days while we went to the coast. Ruby got lots of loves and attention just like she was their own. She was excellent with communication and we got lots of pictures which were wonderful to see while we were gone. Paula took excellent care of our spoiled Ruby girl!”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 8 years old. Whether bathing or going for a walk I will make their needs my priority. Family members have entrusted me with their pets care for decades. I will do the same for your furry family. We would go for a walk in the morning after breakfast and play fetch after lunch. Potty breaks every 2 hours and scheduled play time. I have 1 friendly dog and 1 loveable cat. We do not have a fenced yard but we have tons of open spaces for running and playing. We would go for a walk in the morning after breakfast and play fetch after lunch. Potty breaks every 2 hours and scheduled play time.
“John and Jessica took fantastic care of Dusty. They sent photos and messages and our whole family agreed that Dusty was smiling in them. We had a flight home get canceled at the last minute and they extended Dusty’s stay in the kindest manner. We’d absolutely recommend you book them and hope to have Dusty stay with John and Jessica again in the future!”

About: With a sprawling 2-acre yard fully fenced, your dog has a safe haven to romp and play freely. They'll revel in the boundless space, indulging their playful instincts with joy. My schedule is wide open, granting me ample time to devote to your beloved dog. I'm prepared to provide attentive care, ensuring their happiness and well-being. The back of the property is fenced with an additional kennel on the back of the house. The back of the house has a large pet door so pups can go in and out as they please but can be shut in the evening to keep them safe but allow them to use the bathroom whenever they need. I have 1 french bulldog cooper and a cat Maylie they are best friends and love to play with other pets.
“This was our first time having Susan watch our two goldendoodles. It went very well, and we were very comfortable while we were away knowing our doggies were in good hands. Great communication prior to, during and after the dog sitting. This went so well, we have already booked our next dog sitting with Susan. THANK YOU”

“We are so happy with our experience using Haley for boarding! She has a cute dog that got along well with ours. She communicated promptly with us and sent lots of pictures.”

“Denise was super nice to our dogs and treated them very well! She did everything we asked her to do. Her house was really nice and she had a big yard. We had a delay on our flight wich of set everything for picking them up, and Denise was really kind about that and ended up watching them for an extra hour Wich was really really nice of her! The only thing that wasn’t 10/10 was that I had to ask for updates rather than her just sending them. The updates were very short. And the pictures were few. I’m not complaining.. I’m just saying that’s something that could be better! But I would use her again for sure! Her and her kids were all very sweet!”

“I asked Nicole to watch my dog on super short notice and she was super flexible when I needed to adjust my coming and going times. She seemed to really love and care about dogs!”

“Jill was easy to work with and great to communicate with us. She was very good to our labrador who clearly loved being at her house. I think he's a little depressed and missing Jill and her sweet labs. We will definitely book with Jill again.”

“I am so thankful to have found Bonnie and her family!! They were wonderful with my huge Goldendoodle, Bentley. She and her family loved on him, played w him and took great care of him! She was great about sending me pictures and updates! Can't say enough good things!!”

“Taylor was great! She is a people person and our dog loved her. She was so nice to work with and took time to keep us in the loop a few times a day. We would definitely use her again. Thumbs Up!!”

About: We have loved and cared for dogs nearly all our lives. We don’t just see them as pets; they are family members who deserve all the comfort and attention we can give. We are currently the proud family of Pippie, and we both play an active role in her care. Since I work from home full-time, your dog will never be lonely. Pippie is the best of both worlds - she loves to play and hang out with other dogs, but she also loves to just relax and nap. We know how hard it is to leave your furry friend behind, which is why we’re committed to providing a trustworthy, safe, and loving environment. We’ll treat your dog exactly how we treat our own—with patience, care, and plenty of affection. Because I work from home full-time, I am here to provide constant supervision, mid-day potty breaks, and companionship. Our routine revolves around Pippie's needs—mornings start with playtime and breakfast, followed by several play sessions throughout the day to burn off energy, and she usually naps under my desk as I work. With my husband and daughter coming and going, there is a constant rotation of attention. Someone is always available to care for your pet. Your dog won't just be 'fitting in' to our schedule; they will be part of our family activities, from lounging in my office while I work to evening play in the yard. We treat our guests’ schedules—like specific feeding times or medication needs—with the same priority as our own. In our home, your dog is treated like a member of the family. We have a fully fenced-in backyard, which allows for safe, off-leash playtime. Our care routine is built on consistency and comfort: Feeding & Hydration: We stick to a twice-a-day feeding schedule (or whatever your specific routine requires), and fresh water is always available. Active Supervision: Since I work from home, I provide constant supervision. Your pet will never be left unattended in the yard. Affection: We are a 'cuddle-heavy' household! Whether it’s lounging nearby while I work or getting extra attention from my husband and daughter, your dog will be showered with love. Personalized Care: We understand every dog is different. Whether they need high-energy play in the yard or a quiet spot to nap, we adapt our day to meet their specific personality and needs.
“Jan was wonderful! She loved and cared for our dog like he was her own. Our dog unexpectedly became ill while we were out of town, and Jan was so good about communication and keeping us updated on his condition. We even FaceTime'd one evening so our dog could see and hear us! She sent daily photos and videos so we could see what he was up to, and even let him sleep on the bed like he does at home. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Nicole and her husband were absolutely amazing! They took in my dog with a moments notice and were happy to do so. Nicole went out of her way to come and pick up my dog as well to save us time so we could get going. This couple loves others animals as if they were their own!! I cant say enough about how at ease i felt leaving my baby with this family! Nicole sent updates, videos and pictures the entire time and I got to see exactly what my dog was doing. I love that Nicole is home with the dogs all day and has a dogie door and a large backyard for the dogs to roam and run around. They have their place all set up for dogs as well with dog beds, water bowls and toys everywhere! Its 100% better than boarding at the vet or a mass boarding place, we will use her from here on out for sure! Thanks Nicole!”

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
