“Angela was very punctual with her visits. I can’t believe my tortie came out for her! That is no small feat! So happy with her service! Hank (our dog) who we worry about being stressed, was just fine when we came home. So nice to come home to happy animals!”

About: As a certified dog trainer, I provide structured, positive reinforcement-based training tailored to each dog’s needs. I also offer safe and enjoyable walks, ensuring dogs get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I’m skilled at reading canine body language and behavior, which allows me to provide calm, engaging, and stress-free experiences for each dog I work with. Whether it’s training sessions, hikes, walks, or enrichment, I treat every dog with care, understanding, and empathy. My client hours are Mon.-Fri. from 12 to 8 pm (excluding holidays). Saturday hours are available upon request, if I’m able to accommodate. 😊 As a professional dog trainer, I love spending quality time with pets each day. In addition to caring for my own animals (two dogs, a cat, and several chickens!), I work with shelter dogs and training clients, giving me extensive hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I love providing safe, attentive, and empathetic care, whether it’s through training sessions, hikes, walks, or drop-in enrichment activities. I offer in-home training sessions, Adventure Training sessions, hikes including transport, neighborhood walks, and drop-in enrichment activities, always making the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet a priority. All training is based on positive reinforcement (R+) methods, ensuring dogs feel motivated, engaged, and confident while learning. During hikes and walks, I make sure each dog is leashed, closely monitored, and walked in a safe environment. Communication is a top priority—I provide updates on behavior, progress, and next steps, so you can rest assured that your pet is in capable, attentive, and compassionate hands. All hikes and walks include loose-leash reinforcement.
“Jacqueline was awesome! Super responsive and sent great updates. My girl can be a little shy with new people but she took to her instantly and was super comfortable. Made our little get away a lot less stressful knowing Lily was loved and happy. Would definitely recommend her for sure. Thank you!”

“Amy is awesome! My two dogs are really anxious around new people and that makes me anxious, but because of how calm and capable Amy is, everything went really well! She did drop-in visits 4 days in a row while my husband was working and while I was out of town. She sent me TONS of pictures and updates which was great! My dogs warmed up to her very quickly and by the end of the 4 days I think they thought she was a member of the family! When she took them for a walk, one of my dogs got muddy and she cleaned her up for us. I'm so glad we found Amy and I can't wait to use her when we go out of town at the end of this month! :)”

Animals are a passion of mine and through pet sitting I get to meet so many great animals. I have offered a verity of pet sitting services such as dog walking, house sitting and farm sitting. Through the 4 years I have been pet sitting I have watched and cared for both domestic pets, as well as farm animals, and I have a list of references to back up my work. I am also available to watch pets overnight throughout the week and on weekends. I like to visit my clients home, and meet the animals I will be caring for prior to the service to ensure I am equipped to provide excellent care that makes the animal comfortable and healthy, as well as provide the client a piece of mind. I cater to how my clients want their animals cared for and treated, each home is different and I try my best to meet my clients standards.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16 year old. It started with watching my neighbors dogs! I have lots of experience with older dogs and puppies! I also have a 95lbs yellow lab at home that’s my own :) I have a 7am-3pm job Monday-Friday, and I am able to help walk a dog in the early morning time and or an evening walk for the dog! I can even do drop-in care for cats, lizards, ferrets, etc. I take care of dogs by giving them a nice long walk, playing with their dog toys with them, fetch, etc. I think physical activity is so important for dogs! Especially giving them love and attention.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
