The house was a nice space and well kept, and the yard was a super nice large space for the boys to rhomp. They were both really friendly and great with my pup, making my feel as ease to leave him with them. And their pup and mine got along really well, so that was a bonus that he had a buddy for the week! It was also really nice that I got pictures all week of the boys playing and chilling together. About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. I am a teacher and I am looking for summer work. I am free every day until late August. I am willing to walk your dog in your neighborhood or board a dog over night. “I can't say enough good things about Rebecca and her care for Gypsy! Gypsy is a rescue who has severe separation anxiety and this was her first time at a sitter and staying with someone other than my family - who she is around frequently. Rebecca made sure she was settled down a bit and that I was comfortable before leaving for the day. She asked me questions about Gypsy's care and background to make sure she understood her needs and how best to care for her. Gypsy was incredibly skittish at first and I was nervous it was not going to work out. However, Rebecca was up for the challenge and slowly introduced Gypsy to the other dogs so as not to overwhelm her more than she already was, being in a new place, and make sure they all got along well. Throughout the day I received pictures of Gypsy which further reassured me of how well Rebecca worked with her. The pictures made it very obvious that Gypsy had calmed down and was enjoying playing with friends and her stay. Rebecca has a large fenced outdoor space for the pups to run and play, and when I picked Gypsy up that afternoon I could tell she had done quite a bit of that! She came home and was tired out that evening. I am very happy to have found someone that I know I can trust with her care when needed.”
About: Your pets will be well taken care of under my supervision. I love to run and walk so your dog will have lots of exercise. I am willing to give medications if needed, I have experience from working at ASPCA. I also love to groom and give baths so your dog will never come home dirty, and nails can be trimmed as needed. About: I have had many dogs over the years and have trained and cared for all ages and stages. I have experience with reactive dogs, resource guarding, post surgery care, wound care, and medication. I have medic training and am not squeamish when it comes to wounds or illnesses. Public meet ups take place at Ryder park in Dewitt or Canal Landing in Fayetteville. When requesting please provide date and times you are free to meet. I do not offer tours of my home. After a public meet up I can arrange a tour of the yard if needed. This is for safety of dogs and people. Taking a break from the 9-5 job and staying home hanging with the dogs. Have availability to take on a few more dogs due to the passing of my current clients pets. Dogs are unique with their own needs and boundaries. I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs can access using a doggy door. Each dog (or family if siblings want to be together) are booked into their own room that is set up for their specific needs. The dogs gets to decompress and given whatever space they need to be happy and relaxed. I have crates of every size if the dog needs one. I do not crate unless there is a safety concern. Dogs have free reign of the house and yard as long as I am home. If I am not home the dogs are in their rooms which are video monitored (maximum of ~4 hours). The rooms are closed off with gates so dogs have open view of hallways. I use TV or music to create background noise. Dogs do not interact without supervision and any dog introduction is done slowly and never forced. The house is large enough that should a conflict arise the dogs can be placed in separate levels of the house and not interact. When dogs stay with me I see them as my dogs and treat them as family.

Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I've had dogs my whole life. They're such a big part of me and I absolutely love meeting them. I'll follow any specifacation you may have for your dog. I love taking walks and playing with them. I will also feed additional pets that you may have or clean yards if needed. I am currently in college in the afternoon for an few hours on monday through thursday. I can stay at the owner's house if needed. However, I can also do visits to feed and let out if that is more comfortable for the owner. I often like to go on walk with dogs I am taking care of, they are always on the leash on these walks. I also enjoy going out in the yard to play with them. I am not opposed to crates.
About: I’ve had fur babies throughout my entire life growing up. Nine years ago my own fur baby came into my life, Bailey. We love to travel, go to work together and meet new friends. Over the years, I have been the go to family member/friend to pet sit. Which usually entails going for walks, car rides, snuggles, and love. I am available for vet appointments, grooming appointments, so no need to reschedule. I’m a full time employee for the ARC but my position is rather flexible as long as I have enough notice. I update my schedule weekly. When being at my house all babies must be on a leash for everyone’s protection. I do have land behind my house that allows us to run and play. I do have a 9 year old female Lab. She is very friendly with other animals. If owners are more comfortable crating their pets that is no problem.

“Jenna and her husband were great. They worked around my crazy schedule to get my pup out there, and we're more than accommodating when I asked to pick him up early because I missed him! The house was a nice space and well kept, and the yard was a super nice large space for the boys to rhomp. They were both really friendly and great with my pup, making my feel as ease to leave him with them. And their pup and mine got along really well, so that was a bonus that he had a buddy for the week! It was also really nice that I got pictures all week of the boys playing and chilling together. All around excellent experience, I can't say enough good things to say how pleased I was with everything. I would certainly look Jenna up again to sit for my pup! Thank you!!”

“Kara was wonderful and outgoing and did a wonderful job taking care of my 2 dogs for labor day weekend. Especially my older guy (12) who was unexpectedly diagnosed with congestive heart failure about a week before our stay. I was worried she wouldnt want to care for them after that news, but she took it all in stride. Getting him to take his heart meds was difficult to say the least...It appears Kara found a trick he fell for and didn't have trouble getting him to take them, which I still haven't mastered...this took a huge worry and axiety off my chest & mind and allowed me to enjoy the weekend with my oldest friends. The dogs seemed to really enjoy romping around her fenced in yard so t hat waz an added bonus. Thanks Kara for taking good care of my boys!”
