About: What sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and responsibility I bring to every pet I look after. I’m also an active person who enjoys long walks, outdoor time, and making sure dogs get the exercise and enrichment they need. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing plenty of affection, updates, and personalized care so owners can feel completely at ease while they’re away. I am a nurse and have lots of days off, right now I work nights so I can always hang out with your pet before or after work, or on one of my many days off! I have 2 dogs myself and a little fluffy cat, so I will treat your pet as if they are my own! I love hanging out with all pets! I love being outside too, so your pup will get lots of outside time. About: I enjoy taking care of all dogs. I got a puppy when i first started college four years ago and she was a handful. I thank her for giving me the patience i need for any type of dog. I’ve been dog sitting most of my life and have yet to find a dog who doesn’t have a good time when hanging with my dog and i! I am currently home for the summer so my availability is almost always! About: I’ve been around animals for most of my life and genuinely enjoy interacting with all kinds of pets. I also have experience volunteering with animal shelters and a Malinois rescue organization, which has given me experience with dogs of different breeds, temperaments, energy levels, and backgrounds. While I definitely consider myself a dog person, I also have experience with cats, horses, chickens, rabbits, and other farm animals. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I’ll treat your pets like I would my own—with patience, affection, attention to their routine, and plenty of love while you’re away. I’m currently working part time. My work schedule varies by week, and I can be available for drop in visits on a case by case basis. During visits, I do my best to keep your pet’s routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely for feeding, fresh water, medications if needed, potty breaks, playtime, and any other parts of their normal routine. I’m also happy to spend time giving lots of pets and attention, or simply keeping them company if they’re a little more reserved.

I am a merchant mariner and work on a boat every other month, so when I’m home I’m able to fully dedicate my time to watch dogs and cater my schedule and needs to my clients. About: I have had animals since I was little and I have been watching my family and friends animals of and on for years. I have had puppies to senior dogs and cats. I'm currently working part time, and a online class. I can work with your animal Thursday after I get done working till Sunday. Maybe other days depending how close you are. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
