About: I have cared for pets since I was 7 years old! I currently share my home with two kitties and three dogs. I also have some experience with smaller animals, I've had three Syrian hamsters in the past and have cared of guinea pigs and rabbits in a shelter setting. I've even cared for pigs, goats, and horses before! For my professional credentials, I've worked in animal care for a combined five years. I have cared for hundreds of animals in animal shelter and veterinary clinic settings. From shy and fearful dogs to feral cats, to kittens and puppies, to senior animals. I have cared for animals that need medications and/or special diets. I have experience with leash and barrier reactive dogs, exuberant canines, and leash biters. I have completed dog handling in a shelter and feral and fractious cat handling courses through Maddie's University. And I've assisted in moderating 10-15+ dogs in play groups before! Through these experiences I've become proficient in understanding animal body language, able to identify a variety of possible health issues, and learned how to best keep animals safe and happy. All in all I believe my varied experiences with animals professionally and personally will allow me to provide great care to your pet! This is my primary source of income at this time! I also founded and run an animal rescue since 2020. In addition, I spent a year training at a wildlife rehab facility. Essentially, I have devoted my life to making sure animals feel loved and cared for. Your precious baby will be in the best hands! About: I have had and been around dogs since I was a child. Dogs seem to come to me naturally; without fear or hesitation. I honestly believe this is because I approach them with ease and am not forceful. It seemed like a natural step for me to join the Rover community. Ive also been a dog owner and currently have Jazzy who is my beloved Boston Terrier Mix with a big personality and sweet nature. Jazzy and I chose each other and its been an adventure ever since day one! she loves everyone but at times can be a little bossy. I'm well aware of who runs the household! I pride myself on ensuring that Jazzy stays healthy by giving her quality food and treats, Along with that she enjoys her fenced in yard and takes daily walks. We have lots of playtime and cuddles. I'll treat your dog as I would my own. That is my motto as I don't want you to worry or be concerned when you are away from your precious fur baby. I can't replace you, or would never try but rest assured your pet will receive all my tender loving care. I have had the opportunity to care for some dogs on Rover who have become regular clients. The owners have told me that they reach out to me first and hope that I am available. That is a huge compliment and I'm honored that I made such an impact on their four legged friend. All the pets I have met have their own unique personality and what I do as a sitter is simply take them for who they are which includes any little quirks. Canine or human, we all possess them. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is I’ve taken care of pets from 0 years old to 16, multiple pets at a time, from cats to dogs to hamsters, and I love to do so more than anything. If you’re looking for someone to give your loved one some company, tire out an energetic puppy before you get home from work, or just plain old pet care, I’m your guy. I can take care of your pet part time, based on your needs! I can do frequent check ins and walks through out the day, stay for extended periods of time, or even house sit. My only off time is I currently work 11-7 on Saturdays and Sundays. I have a fenced, open yard with plenty of room for your pup to enjoy. I can also offer them enrichment with toys, treats, and another playful, well behaved pup who lives right upstairs.

About: I love to spend time with them , I like to play with them, I like to take them to the park. I will always keep them on a leash. I can teach them some tricks, sit , stay roll over. I can take them out every two hours, to go potty. I can keep them over night. I took care of a one eye cat, I took care of a blind dog. I have had dogs in diapers. I took care of a Yorkshire, who was pregnant, she went into labor at my house, and my mom and I delivered three little babies they came out every forty minutes. About: I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, I recently got a puppy and her training at home has been going great, I’ve taken care of many different breeds and ages, from puppies to senior dogs. I work for family part time and stay at home for the time being, I’m available for walks or potty breaks anytime during the week between 8am and 5pm When dealing with my own dogs potty breaks look like all of us going out at once, I don’t tend to leave dogs unsupervised unless told to do so, I love taking my dogs for walks and playing outside so good long walks are surely in store for your pups as well.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life ranging from fish, amphibians, rodents, birds, cats, and dogs. I love connecting with animals and giving them all the love they deserve! I also am a former vet assistant (I now work at a vet lab) so I have experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and health statuses. My priority is the pets’ safety and comfort, and will work with them to ensure we have a foundation of trust. I also can work enrichment into my visits to get their minds more stimulated or just give them a 15 minute belly rub if that’s more up their alley. I’ve also trained many of my pets so I can help introduce basic commands to puppies or reinforce commands and manners from older pets. I’m available pretty much every day for the summer. Once mid-August comes around, I’ll be available Sunday-Tuesday at all times and Wednesday-Saturday from 9-11 AM I can come in let the pets out, clean up messes from them, feed/water, play enrichment games or work on training, and give them lots of love!

About: I love animals! Sometimes their moms, dads, or owners need a little help to care for their furbabbies and I’m here to provide compassionate care and protection! About: Hi my name is Asia. I’m really excited to have extra income but I’m more in it for the loving animals. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets to care for. I have two bearded dragons, two cats, one dog, and one fish. In the mornings I go to the gym and after I’m pretty much open throughout the day until school starts, which is in the beginning of January. Feeding and watering animals,Playing with them and keeping them company, Walking the dogs, Grooming and brushing the animals' coats, Changing the cat's litter box, Providing health care if necessary. Giving them affection, so they don't feel abandoned after their owner leaves.

I have 10+ years of experience working with dogs, including special needs and senior dogs. I also have 10+ years of working with children. I have a lot of patience. I have 2 dogs., Zoe, a Shih Tzu Maltese and Shuri a Cockapoo. I make sure that I am flexible with the needs of the fur babies I care for. I establish a routine that works well for everyone. While I do work, I am not far away and someone is usually home to give potty breaks mid day. I pride myself on working with families to make sure everyone is happy and ensure that extra snuggles and 1 on 1 is given if I am boarding multiple dogs. I have a secure fenced in backyard to allow your fur baby to get their zoomies out. I know how to properly secure your fur baby within their harness, collar and leash. If there is an animal that requires special needs or care (i.e. needing to be let out or walked alone) I practice proper safety ensuring that no one is hurt. I take the time to get to know each fur baby that comes through my doors ensuring their needs are met. On the occasion that I need to step out I will ensure they are safe in an XXL crate, or the crate you provide. I do NOT provide care to specific breeds, including but not limited to, pit bulls, bullies, Rottweiler, German shepherds, Cane Corsos, Presa Canarios, ASTs, etc. I work a FT teacher but with that comes a teacher schedule! I'm flexible and have several off days, such as holidays, which allows me the flexibility to care for your babies during peak seasons. We have a fenced in yard that is secured by 2 locked gates. I like to go off of a similar, if not the same routine that they are used to. I send lots of pictures and videos and try to have mini photoshoots of your babies if they allow! :). We treat every fur baby as our own so much they never want to leave.

About: Hi my name is Kiera. I am 26 years old and live in Mokena Illinois. I am currently a teacher with my masters in education. I have been active in taking care of dogs for 10 years. For four years i volunteered at NAWS animal shelter in Mokena where i walked and scoialized with both cats and dogs. Also in that time i fostered 4 dogs til they could find proper homes. Therefore i believe i am qualified to take care of your wonderful dog(s). I currently have one golden retriever (Nala) 2 cats (Odin and Mozzie) and a ball python (Snickers). I am really looking forward to meeting all the furry friends in the area and cant wait too meet them. Any dog is my kind of dog. Since I am a teacher I am usually busy during the week. However, I am sometimes available in evenings and mostly available on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard however my dog is picky and prefers walks over being let out into the fenced yard. Therefore she is walked by my family every morning and evening.
