About: Hi there! I’m Justine — a super friendly, animal-loving pet sitter with 8 years of veterinary assistant experience. 🐾 I am new to Rover. Just moved here to North Carolina recently! I have a deep passion for caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and ages — from playful puppies to senior companions needing a little extra love. I share my home with 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own, so I truly understand how much your pets mean to you — they’re family, and I’ll treat them like my own. With my vet background, I’m very comfortable giving medications (oral, topical, or injectable), handling special needs pets, and understanding animal behavior. Whether your pet is anxious, high-energy, or shy, I’ll make sure they feel safe and cared for. You can count on me for: ✔️ Reliable, loving care ✔️ A calm, experienced hand for nervous pets ✔️ Updates with photos and messages to give you peace of mind ✔️ Lots of playtime, snuggles, and personalized attention I look forward to meeting your furry family and being someone you can trust again and again! I do currently work full time throughout the week in Huntersville and generally have weekends off. I am off Tuesday’s as well. I am flexible and starting to save for radiology school. When caring for pets in their home, my goal is to keep them feeling safe, loved, and comfortable by maintaining their regular routine as closely as possible. 🦴 For drop-ins, I’ll make sure your pet is fed on schedule, has fresh water, gets a potty break or litter box cleaned, and gets one-on-one attention through play, snuggles, or quiet companionship — whatever they enjoy most. 🐾 For dog walks, I focus on safe, fun, and enriching walks that match your dog’s pace and energy level. I always watch for signs of stress, avoid unsafe areas or encounters, and make sure they come home happy and tired. 🏡 For house sitting, I provide full-time love and supervision, keeping your pet’s day-to-day life as normal as possible — meals, walks, play, medication if needed, and bedtime routines. I also respect and care for your home like it’s my own: clean, secure, and neat when you return. With 8 years of experience as a veterinary assistant, I’m very comfortable with pets of all ages and medical needs, including giving medications and recognizing early signs of illness or stress. I always send regular updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands

About: Dogs aren’t just pets in my home, they’re family. I currently have a chocolate lab, Molly, and a lab mix, Maddie, who are truly like our children. I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and have experience with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. Caring for animals comes naturally to me, and I genuinely love every part of it! From long walks and playtime to quiet cuddle moments. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog as if they were my own, with patience, attention, and lots of love. Whether your pup needs exercise, companionship, or just a little extra care while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home 🐾 I do work full time at but am available full time on the weekends and available in the evenings during the week if you need someone to stop because you aren’t able to get home as soon as you like. I have a large fenced in yard with 2 dogs that are friendly and love to play. Our home is pet friendly & fur baby snuggles ready.

About: @DoggieDayOutNC -Based in Statesville, NC and happily serving surrounding areas. Hey there! I’m Jamie — lifelong animal lover, founder of Infinite Hearts Dog Sanctuary, and full-time dog mama to 8 amazing rescue pups here in Statesville, NC. My life revolves around animals, and nothing makes me happier than helping other pet parents feel confident that their fur babies are in safe, loving hands. I’ve worked with all types of dogs — seniors, anxious pups, special-needs cuties, hyperactive hounds — and I treat every single one like they’re my own. My background in rescue and daily hands-on experience gives me a calm, confident approach to care, whether I’m popping in for a midday walk or hanging out with your pup during a weekend away. 🌟 Right now, I’m focusing mainly on: Drop-in visits for potty breaks, meals, and playtime Dog walking to get out that energy and give your pup some attention while you’re away These services work perfectly with my sanctuary schedule and allow me to give your dog quality time while keeping their routine intact. I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to work around your needs — whether you have a new puppy who needs frequent check-ins or a senior dog who just needs a little company mid-day. 🐶 Need something more? While I’m focusing on walks and drop-ins, I do offer overnight boarding or in-home sitting on a limited basis, especially for repeat clients or special situations. Just send me a message — I’m happy to chat and see if it’s a fit. 🏡 A little about my sanctuary: Three-part fenced yard = safe, structured play space for all sizes Agility equipment for mental and physical enrichment Frequent potty breaks and supervised outdoor time Crate-trained household with safe, structured dog rotations One booking at a time, unless the dogs are from the same home Personalized care in a loving, calm environment I know how hard it is to trust someone with your pets — that’s why I’m all about transparency, communication, and giving updates during every visit or walk. You’ll get peace of mind and your pup will get top-tier care, attention, and love. Let me know how I can support your pet family — I can’t wait to meet your dog! I'm home the whole time. I can be available at any time or most days as needed. I am happy to help with your needs. In my home, I provide a structured, safe, and loving environment tailored to each dog’s needs. My three-part fenced yard allows dogs to run freely in the larger section to burn off energy and use the smaller area for regular potty breaks, which I schedule every three hours. For enrichment, we have agility equipment to keep dogs active and engaged. My own dogs are crate-trained and rotated to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, and your pet will spend the majority of their time out of the crate, enjoying personalized attention and care. If caring for pets in their home, I adhere closely to their established routines, providing companionship, safety, and cleanliness to ensure they feel secure and comfortable while you’re away. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they receive the highest level of love and attention.

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life and have always been picky with who takes care of mine! So I know the ins and outs with walking, feed schedules and potty time! I have dog walked, and I house/pet sit as well! It’s important to have trust worthy people with your babies!!! Every animal should be treated as such 💗 I work part time and in school so it works out perfectly for my schedule and gets my steps in as well and being able to be around more animals is always a plus!!! I make sure the owners write down what they need from me so I have a guide line for each pet! I then offer them if they need to be crated or walked more frequently or are they allowed to have treats and so on! I also give them my number incase they want to call and check on them!

About: I’ve had a dog for 15 years! My first dog died when I was 10 so I helped take care of him. I also have dog sat professionally where I would walk him daily with a fun game of fetch In clients past, I have let out a dachshund on a daily basis. I took him on a walk and then we played a game of fetch every day! I also take care of my 14 year old toy poodle. He is an old man at heart but I love him so much. I have a part time job at a church which is super flexible and would love to hang out with your pup or go in walks throughout the day! I care for pets as I would my own. I do not care for pets in my own home, but would be more than happy to come stay in your home to stay with your pet!

About: For the Love of Dogs Rescue has been taking care of dogs, cats, other assorted animals for 29 years. I train dogs to be Service and Assistance dogs for our veterans and special needs families in our local community. I love all Animals, especially Dogs and Horses. I personally have German Shepherds. I have yet to meet an animal that did not either take a liking to me instantly or come to trust me over time. Some are that broke and have been failed so horribly, my heart weeps for them. I ONLY use fear-free, marker-based positive reinforcement training methods. I am a disabled veteran myself and working with dogs is a labor of love for me. I am professional, polite, patient, and understanding. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s) or other animals and making new friends. Because of COVID and being a disabled vet, I am currently only training dogs, and Horses on special occasions. COVID has made our rescue efforts difficult as my rescue runs on a foster home model. What that means for you is that I have plenty of time to care for your dog(s) and other animals. I do have personal worship time on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings. These can be done anywhere as we are utilizing zoom for our meetings. In your home, I will endeavor to keep their normal routine except adding playtime if it's appropriate for your dog(s), cat or other animals. I am flexible and will always have your animal's best interest at heart. We may even learn a thing or two together. If at my home, your dog will be inside my home with our family. I have a fenced-in yard for outside play and necessities. I have a doggie door (which I can train your dog to use, or we can close it off and utilize your current method for outside necessities). I can crate in XL crates if preferred or medically necessary. Every dog and home is different. When house sitting/dog or animal sitting, I will follow your instructions. If any of these happen to be in opposition to my methods, I will discuss them with you upfront so that we are both in agreement. I love all animals, especially our canine companions of this world. I would be honored to be considered as your dog nanny, caregiver , house sitter, Animal attendant or whatever name you are comfortable with for me to care for your animals while you are away. Feel free to contact me and schedule a meet and greet. I look forward to meeting you and your animal family members. Humans may think my humor is off beat but the animals seem to love it. My rescue efforts have been impacted due to COVID, so I have a lot of extra time to spend focusing on the needs of other animals by offering Animal Nanny services, house sitting, animal sitting, dog walking, horse exercising, drop in visits to ensure fresh food and water is available, maintaince medications are administered, potty breaks are given, etc. Anything that is needed on a drop by visit basis. I offer an exceptional Dog Nanny service or Animal Nanny if you prefer. I strive to provide your furry companions with so much love and attention that they hardly notice that you are away. I love taking client dogs to the "DogWorld dog park" in Kannapolis, NC. DogWorld is a one-of-a-kind dog park!! The 17-acre property features an Olympic size swimming pool, two water slides, an 18-hole obstacle course, natural pond, rolling hills, a beautiful creek, and 12+ acres of fenced-in play space!! It also has a Doggie Concession stand for a Pup Cone (dog appropriate version of ice cream cones) Please visit Dogworld dog park on the web for more details. They offer single day passes, monthly passes and yearly memberships at very reasonable prices. The screening process is easy (every dog is evaluated for their temprement, play style and social skills and assigned a color coded collar band). There are monitors throughout the park to help ensure fun, safe play for everyone. the rest is pure FUN for the dogs. I can also help to get the 1st time evaluation completed if your schedule needs a little help. The park is open year round excluding some holidays. Please refer to their web page for complete details. I treat every animal with kindness, love, compassion and understanding. My approach is always based in science and experience. I have cared for just about every type of dog in a myriad of situations, good and bad. Typically the dogs that already have a loving home are pretty easy to figure out. Their basic needs are usually met so any issues going on are not too hard to figure out. I treat every dog as if it were my own. I am a dog lover and truly enjoy watching, caring for and finding ways to enrich their lives and making things easier for them while their family members are away. It can be stressful on animals when their family members are away. Some notice a 5 minute absence, other maybe a day or so, but all miss their normal routine. I try to provide activities, learning, playing, cuddling, grooming, etc. In an effort to help the animals relax, enjoy their time and make your absence less stressful for your animal. I am retired and most of my extra time involves animals and their care. I am a grandmother and think of the animals much the same as children (just the four legged and furry variety.) I have a fenced in yard with doggie door access. I can teach your dog to use the door at their convenience or I can set structured potty breaks depending on your preferences. I will always try to maintain as much of your normal activities to help minimize your absence and the changes.
