Leigh was so great with all of our fur babies, and made sure to send us lots of pictures and updates on how they were doing. Our flight home was cancelled at the last minute, and Leigh stepped in to save the day! We highly recommend Leah, and will definitely use her again.”

“Justin has been the au pair for my four dogs and three cats as well as multiple foster dogs of mine for the past eight months. He is amazing with the dogs and cares for them better than I would myself. They get multiple walks and play times based on their needs. I have seniors as well as young dogs. He trains my foster dogs and socializes them. All of the dogs get special outings to various parks and dog friendly locations for fun and socialization. He is an amazing person and is very talented. He even helps me with home improvement projects on the inside and outside of my house. I highly recommend him.”

“Jeff did a terrific job of taking care of our pups. He stayed in our cottage, while watching our dogs (no small feat as they are Great Pyrenees - a 1 and a 2 year old) . Not everyone is up to the task of handling these gentle giants, so kudos to Jeff. He communicated with us daily with pics or a video. He also kept an eye out for deliveries to the residence. We will definitely book with Jeff again.”

About: **Please note I am disabled and hard of hearing. I will always prefer texts over phone calls. **Check out what your babies get up to and the pictures/videos I didn’t end up sending on our Facebook or Instagram page, Zig Zag Wag pet care! I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. (See safety section for further details) I have experience with basic first aid. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)

“I will hire Diana every time I need to leave town. She followed my instructions to the letter. She came back to return my key and my 3 dogs were all happy to see her again. She noticed one of my dogs was needy and she also had to deal with a shelter/adopted German Shepherd that is afraid of everything. She was on time. Stayed through the nights I requested. I love that she loved my babies while I was gone for the weekend.”

Since she was staying at my house this was also very important. When I returned Riley was glad to see me but had been well taken care of. The mail, newspaper, and packages were waiting for me on the kitchen counter. I would hope to have Cadence sit with Riley again in the future.”

About: I had pets of all kind since I was a child, I love all animals. I have five brothers and two sisters. We all had cats and dogs all the time , I had my own family and we had all kinds of pets , Gerbils, lizards, snakes, hamsters ,and many cats and dogs. I am retired and can work whenever needed. I do not mind working weekends or holidays. I have experience bathing pets , giving medicines and giving whatever care advised to.Will take care of your pets as if they were mine. I will follow whatever instructions pet owners give me. I will take pictures or video and send them whenever you would like. I have an I-phone and can do facetime so you may talk to your loved pets.

“Erica was such a blessing for us this week. She stayed with our girls Jersey and Luna and they absolutely loved her. The photos we received every day let us know they were in the absolute best hands. She went above and behind for our girls. We had terrible storms while we were gone and lost power and she made sure they had their thunder shirts on and kept them comfortable until the power came back on. She has a big heart and having her be with our girls while we were gone made us worry free. Our girls have looked for her since we’ve been back, so that’s when you know they loved her being there with them. She will forever be our sitter as long as she will have us ?.”

About: I work as a Kennel Technician taking care and loving the dogs who have been pulled from kill shelters to rehabilitate them, so we are able to relocate them and find them good homes. I also worked with my Uncle on his ranch with his rescue dogs and other farm animals. In the near futuer I will be going back to school to study Zoology. I've been around dogs and cats my entire life. I have a strong love for animals and I'm a very patient person. I know how to treat them the way they should be treated. I'd like to think I'm amazing at what I do and not only am I great with animals but I love working with them. I will love your dogs and take care of them just as I do my own!

I am currently working full time at a doggy daycare ! I just moved back to Statesville after being gone for 4 years! I lived here for almost 15 years haha! About: Let me introduce myself I’m Briana, I’m a 27 year old cow farmer (at least I like to think so) I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed animals of really any breed. Some of my fondest memories is running barefoot on my family’s land full of cattle with my sweet puppies always following me to keep me out of trouble. I truly enjoy animals and love taking care of them. I started this job as a way to spend more time with my future husband. He’s in law enforcement and his schedule is all over the place and we really wanted more time together. With that being said he will be staying with me on overnight trips for safety reasons and just because we enjoy each others company. He’s also a big animal lover and shares my admiration for animals in general. We both see this job as very important considering we have a dog of our own that we love and adore. Her name is June and I base how I’d want someone treating her as to how I treat your animals. I have some experience with medications. Mostly oral and one time with injection for a diabetic cat.
