About: I've owned two dogs and a cat for the past 17 years. Unfortunately we're a pet free family at the moment so we're eager to fill the void while we take our time to find the right dog to add to our family. We do have a small child who will be at home some days and all nights/weekends, but she loves animals and plays very gently. Making sure you feel comfortable while you're away is something I strive for. I can guarantee a picture and status update at least daily so you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands and is living it up! Last thing to note is that I am active and plan on being active with your pet. If your dog likes/needs walks, I'll make sure they get out and about and have plenty of opportunity to burn off some energy. I work from home and have limited engagements during the day, so the majority of the time I'll be here hanging out with your pet. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run and play. I've got a young daughter who may also be around during the day, and will be around in the evenings and on the weekends. Sophia was awesome with our girls! They loved her daily visits and we loved getting her cute little messages sent from the cats’ pov. It’s always hard to leave our girls but it was a great peace of mind knowing that Sophia has fostered and cared for cats previously and treats her own fur baby like the queen she is! Emrick took such good care of our cats while we were away! They are relatively new additions to the household and this was the first time we were going to be gone for an extended period. We were also new to Rover and she took the time to explain how it works, what her process is, and what to expect. Everything was perfect! She kept the litter box tidy, the food bowls filled, and the water refreshed every day while we were gone. She even played with them to make sure they got some exercise and attention.
