1. Kristopher V.

“Kristopher was kind enough to agree to look after our pup at the last minute. Our pup seemed very comfortable and Kristopher was quite conscientious since we had mentioned Leia had just been spayed and couldn't jump or run around a lot. Really appreciate Kristopher's willingness, communication, and professionalism”

2. Jaclyn N.

“Went up to Acadia for the day and needed somewhere to watch our 3y/o Australian shepherds. Jaclyn was awesome and was an easy drop off on the way up. Looking forward to using again.”

3. Karen S.

“Our dog Bandit seemed to have a good play date with Karen and her family. He came back to us good and tired. Karen is very personable and really cares about the dogs in her care. Everything went smoothly with his pick-up and drop-off. We'll be looking for Karen again on our next trip to Bar Harbor. Thanks Kaen for a great experience!”

4. Danielle K.

“Danielle was wonderful taking care of our dog Uconn. He loves to play and her dog Bruno is so sweet and full of energy. She was very flexible with our schedule for work which was great. We definitely would love to have her watch our pup again.”

5. Joseph S.

“Joseph and his partner were fantastic. Our puppy was shy at the beginning, and they made her so comfortable. We were nervous to leave her, but they sent videos of her happily eating minutes after we left and of her playing with the other dogs soon after. They were also so accommodating. We dropped her off around dinner time to go to a concert in Bangor and picked her up late. When we picked her up, it was clear she had a great time. We would definitely come back!”

6. Robert D.

“They watched my dog all day and i couldn’t be happier. I got pictures all day and updates on how she was doing. She was not super happy to have to go home at the end of the day, and now all she wants to do is sleep! I will definitely be bringing her back! They definitely care about the animals they take in! Thank you so so much”

7. Shmerl B.

“Alice had a great day and I got a few videos thru the day showing her palying. She can't wait to go back and play again with her new friends!!”

8. Patricia M.
“Patricia did a WONDERFUL job! Guillermo & India seemed so HAPPY when we returned home. YAY! In addition to caring for our two dogs, Patricia watched three children, all of whom were well fed, happy and playing upon our return. To boot, our home was neat and tidy. It is very COMFORTING to know everything was taken care of so well especially our babies while we were away. As always Patricia provided 100% ++++ Customer Service. She was conscious of the medical needs of our dogs (very special diet for kidney stones, require ample fresh water and walking). ”

About: I've grown up with all kinds of animals from dogs, cats, lizards, birds, bunnies, all kinds! I'm not the least bit shy around animals, and I actually trained my own dog when he was a puppy! We live in a small home and run a little homestead. My fiance and I care for many animals here so we are well versed in taking care of pets! Your fur baby will have plenty of play mates and two people who will look after your pet with all the care and love it could ask for! I have super loveable dogs, they love animals and people, so they'll keep your fur baby company! Plenty of play time! :) I also have a sweet little black kitty that loves her dog siblings (I think she secretly thinks she's a dog too). I have lots of experience with different dog breeds and animals as a result! We have two large kennels available here at the house in the event that your fur baby needs it. We also have a 100 ft dog run that goes between the house and a large tree, so your pup can have free range of that run!

10. Justin & Eva M.

“This was my first time using Rover. I am so happy I chose Eva and Justin. I was visiting Umaine with my daughter for orientation and needed last minute care for my goldendoodle. Eva and Justin were amazing with communication and taking care of Luna for the day. I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely use them in the future when up in Maine.”

About: I have been looking after animals my whole life. I love them so much I made a career out of it as a Vet Tech and get to comfort and take of them everyday! I am happy to care for anything from puppies to senior dogs and medical case animals. 💖 I currently have a dog of my own. I work part time and am in school the other half. I am free most days and am very flexible with my schedule to accommodate your needs. I have 2 fenced in yards. I have a quite space separate from the household and provide lots of calm positive love for any animals in my care. I'm happy to play and acclimate to each animals needs

14. Rina & Andre P.
About: The last seven years I have worked at a few different doggy daycares in New York City! During that time, I was also petsitting at home for multiple pups. Coming from NYC, I became very good at navigating the crowded streets with a "pack". I moved up to Maine almost six years ago and have been caring for animals of all kinds ever since, but dogs definitely hold a special place in my heart. I opened Rebels Homestead a few years ago (find me on fb) and have an array of animals such as horses, pigs, goats, chickens etc…all of which are a ways away from the house and not reachable by the pups In my home, we have a fenced in yard and 3 acres of open land. I do not allow dogs to be off leash outside of the fenced in backyard. My home is located very close to the Bangor City Forrest and I love to go for long walks there if the weather is nice. I try to keep dogs on the schedule they are used to when they stay with us, i.e feeding, potty breaks, etc... I have a very open schedule being a stay at home mom. Your pup will receive endless attention and lots of love from all of us! We have a secure fenced in yard and do not allow dogs off leash outside of that area. We are extremely good about teaching our son what is appropriate behavior around animals and what is not. He has learned so fast and continues to enjoy all our visitors. (Dogs and baby never left alone)

15. Erin P.
“Erin is one of the only people I trust with my pup. She watches him for me every summer for 10 days when we go camping. We have tried to take him camping with us a few times, it never works out, he hates it! What he doesn't hate is staying with miss Erin. He always comes back from her house a happy pup! She is loving to him and keeps him on his schedule which is important to him. He has some quirks about him that I think would make most pet sitters not want to take him, but she loves him so much she doesn't mind, and she deals with those quirks as well I do. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs her to watch their special fur babies”

16. Natalie I.
“Natalie has grown up in a house with dogs all her life. She has been a trusted, reliable, and loving pet sitter for numerous neighbors and friends for a number of years. She is what I call “dog people”. The dogs (and cats) love her. As we know, dogs are the best judges of character and they (and their pet parents) are beyond happy when Natalie is tasked with caring for them. She would be an excellent addition to Rover. The dogs & cats will be fortunate to be in her care.”
