About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I cared for a variety of dogs and cats with different personalities and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and love getting to know each pet and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for! I’m primarily available Thursday through Sunday, with a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and companionship throughout the day, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping them comfortable and maintaining their normal routine. I follow each pet parent’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medication, and any special care needs. I also make sure their environment stays safe and secure while giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and affection.

I reached out to Alison when I was sick and unable to walk my dog, Ace, and she responded right away. She was kind, friendly, and very reliable throughout the booking. Ace absolutely loved her—every time he came back from a walk, he didn't even want to come back inside! It gave me great peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog walker. 🐾💕

About: Hi! I’m Ashley! A loving and dependable pet sitter with almost a year of experience and happy client reviews. I treat every pet like family and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, which means I’m fully available for afternoon and evening walks during the week. I also have open availability on weekends! Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule as I genuinely enjoy spending my free time outdoors and bonding with animals, so being a dog walker is something I look forward to, not just a side gig When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routine closely to help their pet feel safe and comfortable. I make sure to stick to feeding schedules, follow any special instructions, and give them plenty of attention, playtime, or calming care depending on their needs. I respect the space I’m in, keep things tidy, and treat each home and pet with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. Clear communication and trust are super important to me, so I always keep owners updated and in the loop!

And she did not disappoint. Chewy came so happy from his walk and she took the cutest pictures of him for his report card.

About: Hello, and welcome to my profile! My name is Kim, and I’m a proud dog owner to my 3-year-old Goldendoodle, Oliver, who is absolutely my world. I love and care about all kinds of animals, and I have so much love to share with other dogs. Being a dog owner has taught me a great deal of patience and has given me valuable experience in providing proper animal care. Working at a pet store has also helped me expand my knowledge and experience with animals. I currently work as a veterinary assistant, and I previously worked as a dog walker for a private business for four years. I have a special place in my heart for animals because I truly believe they deserve love, care, respect, and compassion, just like we do. It breaks my heart to see animals neglected, and if I had the money and space, I would save every animal I could! I’m excited to meet your furry friends and give them the same love and care I give my own Oliver! 🐾❤️

About: I previously worked as a veterinary technician, which gave me hands on experience caring for animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m very comfortable handling both healthy pets and those that need extra attention or senior care. I’ve also had pets my entire life, so caring for animals is second nature to me. I’m patient, attentive, and able to quickly understand each pet’s unique needs, whether that’s exercise, medication support, or simply making them feel safe and comfortable. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I have three cats and a pitbull at home. I’m flexible and already plan my days around feeding, cleaning, and care. I enjoy making time for walks, visits, and keeping pets comfortable and on schedule. In my home, I care for pets by maintaining a clean, safe, and calm environment, following feeding schedules, and giving consistent attention and affection. I have experience with cats and a pitbull, so I understand different temperaments and energy levels. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
