“Ashley was a great dog walker! She took our brood of three doodles out on a long walk while we were away for the day. Wrangling three dogs is not an easy task and she made it look effortless. She sent along some videos along the way so we knew all was well! Highly recommend her!!!!”

“Kara was amazing when I needed a last minute dog walker. She came everyday on time and communicated when she picked Moose up and dropped him off. She even wrote notes about the walk! I could not have found a better/sweeter friend for Moose that week! Thank you Kara!”

About: I've have had dogs since I was a child. Most recently, I have retired and have plenty of time to provide care and attention to your pet as well as my 2 year old, Miniature Golden Doodle, Steve. I have a 1200 Sq Ft outdoor play space and an Indoor play space for rainy days. We walk, take adventures out on Leelanau County trails and beaches. Come play with us! I am recently retired. Love to be outdoors, active and full of adventure. I am open to flexible scheduling. I understand the busy pet owner challenges. I have an outdoor and indoor play space. I believe a happy pup is a busy pup. Walk my pet and yours everyday. In addition to my pup, I will only care for one additional pet. This allows me to give all of the love and attention needed for a happy and healthy pet.

About: I cared for my cat for 22 long and precious years, through sickness and old age. I believe my level of care provided that longevity. I clean residential homes during the day, so most days I’m gone for 3-5 hours (starting around 10/11am). My schedule tends to be more flexible in the colder months. I prefer to care for your pets exactly as you would, making their separation from you as painless as possible. I would love detailed/clear instructions.

About: I have had dogs and some cats most of my life...i cannot see my life with out them...I love them all..I will love yours too.. I'm currently working full time but will be able to take care of your pets on the weekends and maybe other days.. We will work it out... I am not going to board right now. I do not have the room or the fenced in back yard or the time since I work full time...

About: I have dog sat for younger, older, and more hyper dogs. I have also done some cat sitting. I have no problem dealing with puppies too. I am out of school for summer so I have a lot of time on my hands. I’m available almost all points in the day. I am capable of keeping a dog on the leash or in a yard. I can also keep a dog in the crate if needed.

About: I’ve owned and cared for my own pets since I was 10. Taking care of animals is my main passion. I used to work at a dog boarding kennel and was in the FFA at the career tech center for a year in high school, where I raised baby sheep and grew chickens. I am currently studying to be a zoologist where I hope to go into a career of taking care of animals! I own many pets myself, so I care for them daily and once a week I do a deep clean of all their cages, tanks and enclosures. Caring for animals is part of my daily life routine. I am attentive and have always been good at understanding what animals need/ want. I will never leave ur pets side unless they want alone time. I can play for hours with your puppy or just sit and cuddle your cat or dog. I really enjoy being around animals so it’s a treat just to meet new furry friends.

About: I'm a college student and I love animals. Throughout all of highschool I volunteered at an animal shelter once a week and volunteer for the summer when I home from college. Volunteering at the animal shelter helped me learn how to read dogs body language and care for dogs of different sizes with different personalities. I enjoy taking care of animals and connecting with dogs. I'm a full time college student during the school year getting my BSN. I’m currently home for the summer and looking for a flexible job. I love spending time with dogs and cats! My priority is the pet's safety and happiness. I have lots of experience working with different animals in shelters and dog siting through friends and family. I would care for the pets by doing whatever the client needed me to do and leaving the house better than I found it.

About: I’ve been dog walking, pet sitting and doing home check ins for friends family and coworkers since I was 10. Love getting out in nature on long walks or checking in on your pets if you have to be away all day! My 3-4 day work week allows me free time on Monday- Wednesdays for walks and check ins. I’m available most mornings! Occasionally available for house sitting or boarding. I have a large, tidy house where your dogs will be able to roam worry free. I live on a quiet street surrounded by woods and a park nearby, perfect for long walks and lots of trees to sniff without having to worry about street traffic.

About: I love dogs! have been dog mama to 3 labs and a little 6 pound rescue guy - currently can’t have my own so would love to fill my heart with your furry pal when you’re away. I’m very active so enjoy walking / hiking / running with a dog. I work very part time - remote- so my schedule is super flexible. Can walk your dog, visit your dog, stay at your home to watch your dog. At this time, I do not have any pets. I would walk / run your dog on leash. Love to take on hikes at the park if they are other dog friendly.

“Jonathan. So professional efficient on time loving and gentle with our Jayda. Jonathan is my Number 1 choice in the future. It was a pleasure and also calming to know Jonathan was taking care of our baby!! He left us notes on their walk and how Jayda enjoyed them! Thank you Jonathan!”

About: I have a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees named Nala, a sweet and loyal guard dog, so I have experience and comfort interacting with all sizes, big and small. I also have two boy cats, Widget and Panko, whom I adopted 8 years ago. I love animals! Over the years, my friends and family have entrusted me with the care of their pets (and home) whenever they're out of town. I work in the field of film, which is typically 3-4 projects a month, so I have pretty open availability for pet care in the days between. I like to ensure that both pets and pet parents feel taken care of, whatever is needed to feel comfort and trust and not have to worry about anything. Beyond the essential needs, I like to go above and beyond by including whatever unique interactions, games, treats, routines, training needs, or other fun things the pet(s) are engaging with at that time.

About: I've had my dog business for 5+ years and I devote my time to special dogs during the day or on weekends. I cared for my two dogs until they passed away. Now I have time to devote to other dogs who need my support. I have time in my life to care for your lovely dogs, walking them during the week and watching them for overnights on the weekends As my yard is not fenced in, I prefer to go to clients home to help out. I have a reliable vehicle and could come and visit

About: Since I was a child, my family has always had pets! I have owned multiple dogs including a border collie, a Pomeranian, a poodle and a bloodhound/ lab mix. I do not currently have any dogs as they have all passed on but I do have cats. I am very comfortable with both and very much enjoy the company of a furry friend! In my neighborhood, my home is known for taking in strays, animals with injuries, or really any other animal need! We have had birds, rabbits, and even a raccoon! My family is also a big supporter of Regina Cat Rescue and I have had many foster kittens throughout the last 10 years, and have adopted out over 100 cats in need of homes. I have experience with big dogs, little dogs and everything in between and have a big heart for animals in need 🐾 I am currently a full-time university student in the faculty of Education and will be working part time in the winter months. Weekdays will be my best availability once the snow falls. I have a fenced yard in my home however we have many animals so I am looking to look after pets in my clients homes mostly. I am more than happy to accommodate for any needs of cats and dogs including medication, walking needs etc

I am available to work afternoon/early evenings and some mornings before and after work. I have a very flexible schedule and open to develop a work schedule that suits all parties. Please reach out with any availability questions. As I’m currently in a veterinary student, I’m used to the quick pace and flexible schedule. My cat travels with me everywhere I go, taking her with me on flights and moving between housing options.

About: I am and always have been an avid pet lover, so I will treat your baby with the love he/she deserves. I’m skilled in bathing dogs if that’s ever needed. I’m respectful of the surroundings of the animal, and I will make sure they are comfortable around me, as well as the human that loves them.

Karen B.
“Karen is one of the only people I trust to take care of my two English bulldogs. Bulldogs are quite sensitive to heat, too much exertion and have many other medical oddities, creams and wipes - and Karen handles all of that in stride, bringing water and really listening to what the dogs need, responding to them in the moment. Whether it’s a quick lunchtime walk that turns in to a play time, Potty breaks or even the more adventurous trail exploration Karen has the stamina, attitude and spirit of adventure- That’s just what any dog needs. She also helps my heart by sending me lots of pictures when she is with my babies and I can’t be!”

Emily M.

“Emily was great! She took such good care of my pup! She was flexible when plans changed and was super responsive.”

Cassie O.
“When I need someone to look after my pets, my first call is always Cassie. She understands that they are not only pets, but members of my family, and in her care, they become members of hers. When I’m away, I can always rest assured that my babies are happy, healthy and in good hands.”

Leanne (Lee) B.
“Lee has looked after my two dogs for the last two years. They are still pups and can be a handful. She is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She shows up always on time and stays until I've asked her to. Lee gives me peace of mind when I have to leave my dogs for an extended period of time.”

Bernice D.
“Hello! I have known Bernice quite literally her whole life, and have always known her to be a pet lover. Her whole family, actually. They have dogs and guinea pigs, a rabbit, a hamster, snakes, lizards, big ole fish, and sugar gliders! Whenever I go out of town for extended periods I leave my pet rats with Bernice, and I don't have to think about their safety or care whatsoever when they are with her. They always come back to me happy and healthy! She is loving, kind, understanding, patient, driven, with not only animals but people as well. I don't think you'd be able to find a better person to help care for pets! I incredibly highly recommend her and have 100% trust and faith in her to take care of these pets as if they were her own.”

GRACE G.
“Grace is very caring and warm to all pets. She has a dog of her own and is very loving. She is college student now but her dog is always so happy to see her when she comes home. She has volunteered at an area pet shelter and is very committed to kindness to pets. She is athletic and strong. She has done pet sitting and is very caring with good attention to detail.”

shannon m.
“My dog Ackee loves her adventures with Shannon! Shannon has looked after Ackee in Santa Barbara, LA and Jackson Hole, WY. Ackee is high-energy and Shannon takes her for long hikes and to parks where Ackee can play with friends. Even while it was winter in Wyoming, Shannon always made sure Ackee got plenty of activity. Shannon gives Ackee constant love and is always looking out for her safety. Ackee notoriously tries to eat random food and items she finds on the ground and Shannon is extra attentive to make sure Ackee doesn't ingest anything she isn't supposed to. Shannon is a trustworthy and loving dog walker and is always prompt with pick ups and drop offs.”

James C.
“This is the sitter you've been looking for full stop. When looking for someone to watch your precious pets, and likely be in your space, you need someone you fully trust. You want someone who is willing to go above and beyond if the need should arise. Fortunately for myself (and YOU), that person is James! James has cared for my 3 cats and German Shepherd dog multiple times. Those periods have been a short as a weekend, and as long as 2 weeks. Every time, not only are the pets happy as can be, but we received updates throughout and he took care to ensure no blemish was left on our house. James is incredibly responsible, a pet owner/lover himself, and has my full trust when taking care of my family. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch pet sitter.”

Lorretta R.
“I can't say enough great things about Lorretta and the care she provides for my dog. Like many pet owners, my dog means the world to me, and it takes a lot for me to trust someone with them. Lorretta cares for my dog as if he were her own. She is extremely professional, responsible, and caring. She is very flexible and reliable and has made my life much easier. It has been very simple to schedule with her, and she provides very personalized care- easy to reach and gives updates after her visits. It has been a pleasure having Lorretta care for our dog, I highly recommend Lorretta to anyone looking for a dog walking service.”

Catherine J.

“Catherine was great. She was responsive and had clear communication about timelines. Brady loved her walks. Would book again!”
