About: I’ve taken care of many animals over the course of my life. I lived nearly two decades on a farm where animals would often get dropped off and I’d care for them for the remainder of their lives. I worked at a veterinary hospital for 3 years and have 4 cats and a dog of my own. I’ve cared for many friend’s pets while they’re out of town, including both cats and dogs with medical needs. I have a passion for helping others and their furry family members! I believe all animals are deserving of our unconditional love and attention. When life calls you away, I’m happy to step in and ensure they get the utmost care. I’m experienced in giving animals medication, including insulin, and have worked with many different types of collars, leashes, and harnesses. I’ll do my absolute best to care for them in the way you prefer them to be cared for and am happy to take time to make a plan for the care that you expect. I’m also aware of signs and symptoms to look for in an emergency situation and have phone numbers and resources on hand to ensure they get the best care, with your permission. I love sending photos to my clients to show them what a great time we’re having together! Having worked full time at a veterinary hospital, care of animals and their owners was a part of my daily life! I try to accommodate all schedules to the best of my ability and am flexible with my schedule. I treat each pet and home as if it were my own. I spoil my pets and would love to do the same for yours. I work individually with you to come up with a visit plan that is tailored to your pet's needs and prioritize communications with you going forward to ensure your expectations are getting met. I relay any immediate concerns that I have during a visit by calling you or directly messaging you. Otherwise, you can expect a summary of the visit, with images, at the end of my visit with your pet(s).

About: Hello, my name is Samantha and since I was little I’ve loved animals. I have 2 cats of my own and a family dog I’ve been taking care of since I was in middle school. I would like to use this app as a way to get my foot in the door for future jobs and I think it’s a great way to also gain experience with animals that don’t know me. I am super excited to see what is in store for me and future clients pet(s)! Currently my work hours have been crazy so I’m only starting with weekends. At my normal job, I work no more than 25 hours a week so sometimes I do have one day during the week that I could pet sit. As a new cat mom of 2 I am pretty strict with them but nothing crazy. I also currently live in a apartment with no yard.

About: I used to work as a certified dog trainer and managed a daycare / boarding facility for 2 years. I was an employee there for longer. 12 hour days every day with dogs of all types. I know how to administer medications, including insulin. I also know how to handle myself in emergency situations, I've learned dog first aid and I've broken up fights in my time that would've been deadly if I wasn't there. I am currently a general contractor making my schedule very open, my wife loves helping with pets of all kinds as well which allows for more care opportunities. The only thing that wouldn't likely work would be multiple days of house sitting IF I am not able to leave for 3-4 hours at a time. I have a hard time spending an extended amount of time not being able to see my infant son! I'll do whatever someone wants for their pet, assuming it's reasonable. I'm okay on multiple large walks, extended play time outside, anything like that is 100% okay. From dogs- cows- fish we would love to help provide dependable care and always ensure your pets are treated with the upmost respect and attention they deserve!

About: I have had pets my entire life and have been working at a veterinary clinic for approximately four years. In this role, I've had extensive experience in animal care, including handling, feeding, bathing, and administering medications to all types of dogs and cats. I currently have one dog and two cats. I feed them both morning and night. I typically take my dog outside 3-4 times a day to go to the bathroom and play. I would treat my client's pets like I would treat my own, with love and care. I try to remain patient and calm, and take it slow if a pet isn't listening. I will always ask the client if the animal has any special needs and ensure those are met. I will also ensure that the animal feels safe and comfortable with me.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My babies aren’t just animals. They truly are family. I currently have two senior rescue chihuahuas. Animals tend to be relaxed around me. I’m older and very responsible. My current work schedule is 100% flexible. I work only when I want to, which means I am available to care for your pets quite often. My girls have the run of the house. I don’t kennel them. I do not have a fenced yard but we play outside together. But, while I have my rules at home, I respect your rules in your home.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors dogs since I was 12. I love big dogs and small. I’m very active and love walking and running around with my pets. I’m a college student home for the summer taking remote summer classes so my schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available a majority of the week. I am surrounded by a large open grass yard and plenty of space in my home for inside or outdoor play. I also have a dog bed that I wash between every visit.

About: I’ve watched many dogs and two cats over the past 4 years usually over family friend vacations. I’ve worked with reactive dogs as well as two young puppies. I spoil my dogs and would be happy to treat your pets with just as much love! I am a part time college student so I have a TON of time to pet sit! As I prepare for dental school in the fall, I will also be free for summer work. I love staying with dogs in either an environment they are used to or my own depending on what the pet parent prefers! There is a fenced in dog park behind my apartment that is never occupied where I run around with dogs. If it is occupied, I would walk around the park nearby with lots to smell on the trail. I also love giving dog baths, so that could totally be included!

About: I have 20+ years of hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with animals of all ages, from young pets needing extra attention to seniors requiring more gentle, specialized care. About: Growing up I have had both cats and dogs as well as spending a few years working on a horse farm, so I have a life time experience taken care of animals. On top of that not only do I love animals but I am also passionate about the work that I do and love to help others where ever I can. I am available most Monday- Friday 8:30am to 4pm. My hrs are flexible if your are looking for something later in the day or it is needed over night or on weekends. I belive that it depends on what the owner of the pet needs, I am flexible to do what ever needs to be done in order for the pet to feel most comfortable keeping to there routine. As for my own dog we feed her twice a day let her run in our fenced in yard multiple times a day and we go for walks once a week.

About: I have grown up and still have cats and dogs of my own. As well as cared for many other peoples cats and dogs so they could be out of town. I ensure you that I am experienced in the pet sitting field and will make your feline and K- Nine as happy as possible. I am currently a student at Iowa State university so my schedule is very flexible. I will be able to take care of all your pets and homes as much as need or as much as you would like me to! I am willing to commute to homes to care for pets and any thing else in your homes that need a little TLC! I am unable to board pets at my own home but am more than willing to come to yours!

About: In addition to having dogs and cats as my childhood pets, I also worked with the Puppy Jake Foundation training service dogs for wounded veterans for two years, and spent a summer interning at Kawa Farms K-9 Training. I have always adored all pets, but dogs and cats have a special place in my heart! I’m spending the summer in Ames and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available for last-minute bookings, frequent walks, overnight care, and lots of attention/playtime. I’m working part-time remotely over the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. I typically work about 4–5 hours on weekdays, leaving me with lots of availability for drop-in visits, walks, boarding, daycare, and overnight sitting. Because I spend most of my time at home, I’m able to give pets lots of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I also have flexibility for early morning, evening, and weekend care, and I’m happy to accommodate pets’ normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for based on their individual routine and needs. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, medication instructions, and any specific preferences owners share with me. In my home, pets would have plenty of attention, supervision, and space to relax indoors. I do have an unfenced yard, so all outdoor time would be supervised and pets would always be kept safely on a leash when outside. In clients’ homes, I do my best to maintain pets’ normal routines to help them feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, updates/photos, and lots of companionship throughout the visit. I also make sure the home stays clean and secure while I’m there.

About: Hi! My name is Allison, and I would love to care for your fur family member! I have grown up around dogs and have been the primary caretaker for our family pets. Not only have I cared for our family dogs (labs & golden retrievers), but I have also dog-sat and walked dogs for other family members and friends since I was 10 years old. About: I have been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2024. I work in the small animal emergency/critical care department. I am RECOVER certified and Fear Free certified. I have been an animal my whole life and am now devoted to taking care and improving their lives. I do have a full time job but I start late in the day. If you need me to walk your dog or check in at your home I can do early mornings to early afternoon. My schedule also changes month to month from week days to weekends so depending on the month I can have more availability during my days off. I always make sure to see the comfort levels of animals before interaction. I bad interaction can break your pets trust. My FEAR FREE training has allowed me to work with patients comfort levels and how to appropriately handle scared animals. My CPR RECOVER training certifies me to be able to perform CPR on your pet effectively.

About: Hi! My name is Liliana, and I am excited to care for your pets like they are my own! During visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, whether that’s going on walks, playing with their favorite toys, or just keeping them company so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience working with dogs and cats of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable handling both high-energy dogs that need lots of activity as well as more relaxed or older dogs who prefer a slower pace. About: I have always been an animal lover. Growing up my parents bred golden retrievers and I currently have a golden that my family and I adore. In high school and college I worked for a local vet as a front desk receptionist and kennel assistant. I have two daughters who also love animals and will always be sure to play and give extra cuddles. Friends and family often rely on us to pet sit. We also volunteer at the animal shelter in town. I am currently working from home part-time and in the office about four hours per day so I will have plenty of time to play with and care for pets. I would care for your pet the same way I do my own - walks, play time, and plenty of cuddles. I live on an acreage, but it is not fenced in. I would keep your dog on a leash outside to because it will not know the boundaries. But we will go for walks and my dog loves other dogs and will be so happy for a visitor.

About: I have 2 years training in working with dogs by helping my close friend and roommate with their dog-sitting business. I am looking to start doing house visits, and dog walking as a second form of income to my current job as a Door dash driver. With door dash I make my own schedule so with at least a week of notice I can schedule just about anything needed in terms of dog care. On any given day there can be between 1-10 dogs that may be staying within my residence, as I live in the same house as a full time dog-sitter. I help to let dogs out everyday and clean up any messes that may occured. I also will occasionally take over for my roommate anytime they have to leave for an extended amount of time. I care for the pets that I am around by making sure they get plenty of attention, water, potty breaks, walks *as requested*, and food at breakfast and dinner when applicable.
