About: I’ve taken care of many animals over the course of my life. I lived nearly two decades on a farm where animals would often get dropped off and I’d care for them for the remainder of their lives. I worked at a veterinary hospital for 3 years and have 4 cats and a dog of my own. I’ve cared for many friend’s pets while they’re out of town, including both cats and dogs with medical needs. I have a passion for helping others and their furry family members! I believe all animals are deserving of our unconditional love and attention. When life calls you away, I’m happy to step in and ensure they get the utmost care. I’m experienced in giving animals medication, including insulin, and have worked with many different types of collars, leashes, and harnesses. I’ll do my absolute best to care for them in the way you prefer them to be cared for and am happy to take time to make a plan for the care that you expect. I’m also aware of signs and symptoms to look for in an emergency situation and have phone numbers and resources on hand to ensure they get the best care, with your permission. I love sending photos to my clients to show them what a great time we’re having together! Having worked full time at a veterinary hospital, care of animals and their owners was a part of my daily life! I try to accommodate all schedules to the best of my ability and am flexible with my schedule. I treat each pet and home as if it were my own. I spoil my pets and would love to do the same for yours. I work individually with you to come up with a visit plan that is tailored to your pet's needs and prioritize communications with you going forward to ensure your expectations are getting met. I relay any immediate concerns that I have during a visit by calling you or directly messaging you. Otherwise, you can expect a summary of the visit, with images, at the end of my visit with your pet(s).

About: I used to work as a certified dog trainer and managed a daycare / boarding facility for 2 years. I was an employee there for longer. 12 hour days every day with dogs of all types. I know how to administer medications, including insulin. I also know how to handle myself in emergency situations, I've learned dog first aid and I've broken up fights in my time that would've been deadly if I wasn't there. I am currently a general contractor making my schedule very open, my wife loves helping with pets of all kinds as well which allows for more care opportunities. The only thing that wouldn't likely work would be multiple days of house sitting IF I am not able to leave for 3-4 hours at a time. I have a hard time spending an extended amount of time not being able to see my infant son! I'll do whatever someone wants for their pet, assuming it's reasonable. I'm okay on multiple large walks, extended play time outside, anything like that is 100% okay. From dogs- cows- fish we would love to help provide dependable care and always ensure your pets are treated with the upmost respect and attention they deserve!

About: I have experience in feeding, grooming, and dog sitting. I am good with connecting with all sorts of dogs no matter the age, size, or personality. I’m patient and will make sure all animals feel safe and comfortable around me and I will make sure to keep the owners updated. I am a student in College student looking for some extra animal experience! I am free every morning, in the earlier afternoons, as well as most evenings! I will try my best to make my schedule work for all types of different schedules! I will schedule my day around feeding, walking, playing, and a plenty of check ins throughout the day to make sure the pets are doing good! I am also up for any cuddle time if that’s something they really enjoy!

About: I’m a current student at ISU pursuing Veterinary Medicine. I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats my entire life and cared for someone else’s for three years in addition to babysitting. I currently have my own friendly Great Pyrenees and Cat and love spending time around furry friends I’m currently working part time and I am out of school very early in the day allowing me to spend my afternoons and nights (and some mornings) caring for your furry friends I have a friendly Great Pyrenees and kitty who love interacting with new friends and if need be I have a way of separating my own from yours with our house set up

About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors dogs since I was 12. I love big dogs and small. I’m very active and love walking and running around with my pets. I’m a college student home for the summer taking remote summer classes so my schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available a majority of the week. I am surrounded by a large open grass yard and plenty of space in my home for inside or outdoor play. I also have a dog bed that I wash between every visit.

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. I am currently a full time college student with a a lot of time on my hands. If I’m not studying I am taking care of your fur babies. I love nature and love company during a nice walk. My apartment complex is very pet friendly! We have a nice little dog park and we also have full access to a great nature trail in the back.

About: I have taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and my brothers do for about 4 years. I also work at a doggy day care and am around all sorts of dogs and understand body language. I work mostly on the weekends. I am most available to spend the most time with your pet during the week. I have school but no more than 4 hours a day. I provide attentive and reliable pet care either in my home or in the client’s home, depending on their preference. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for by giving them plenty of attention and maintaining a clean environment. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and ensure the pet experiences minimal disruption to their normal routine. I am also comfortable administering medications if needed and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.

About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from local rescues. I recently earned a bachelors degree in animal science and currently attend veterinary school at ISU. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! Pet care is built into my schedule and comes as second nature to me now after being immersed in it for so long. On average, a minimum of 3-5 hours of my day are dedicated to my animals. I enjoy taking my dog on multiple walks a day, of varying lengths, to ensure he has enough mental stimulation and exercise to meet his needs. Training is also a constant in my household, whether that be scheduled training sessions, or simply consistent work throughout daily tasks. I find it important to build a bond with my animals as well as those I meet, and training helps strengthen that bond. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) and training exercises are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied and stimulated. I take pride in keeping my environment and my animals’ clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food and water bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.

About: I’ve pet sat since middle school with varying animals including dogs, cats, and even rabbits. I’m a big animal person hoping to ensure that your furry companions are in the hands of someone efficient and careing. I also work part time at a cat cafe in valley junction so I work with cats on a regular basis. With general pet care I am always trying to be as available as I can. Im only unavailable once a week (typically Thursday and Fridays, but it differs). I am always very flexible. I have a fenced in yard and a dog at home that is fairly well behaved around other dogs. I do not have a crate at my home and would prefer to care for your pet in your home.

About: From keeping care of my family pets in the absence of my parents at a young age to spending late nights as a sitter for neighbors’ dogs, I have taken careful care of dogs in all shapes and sizes since I was twelve. I love snuggling and bonding with dogs, and I adore being there for them when their furball parents are unable to be with them. I’m a part-time worker at a hotel on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I work the evening shifts from 3-11pm. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I’m available to spend time with your pups all day! I love walking, and I would love to take your dog on my daily five mile walk with me as a fluffy partner in crime. I strive to create a friendly and loving environment for the doggies I watch. By providing them with quality time such as walking, playing with toys, or simply lying on the couch together, I will give your pup a space of peace and care while you’re away.

About: I have been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2024. I work in the small animal emergency/critical care department. I am RECOVER certified and Fear Free certified. I have been an animal my whole life and am now devoted to taking care and improving their lives. I do have a full time job but I start late in the day. If you need me to walk your dog or check in at your home I can do early mornings to early afternoon. My schedule also changes month to month from week days to weekends so depending on the month I can have more availability during my days off. I always make sure to see the comfort levels of animals before interaction. I bad interaction can break your pets trust. My FEAR FREE training has allowed me to work with patients comfort levels and how to appropriately handle scared animals. My CPR RECOVER training certifies me to be able to perform CPR on your pet effectively.

About: I have been dog sitting for my friends and family for years. I work from home 2 days a week and have a large fenced in backyard. I have a 3 bedroom house located a few block from a bike/walking trail. I would like a dog of my own but my schedule doesn’t allow for that so cuddling and spending time with your dog would be perfect. Your dog will have access to my furniture while I am home. I can maintain a set schedule and provide your dog with love and care while you are away. Your pet would be in a kennel very minimal and have lots of attention. Would just be in a kennel if I need to run errands. I have a large fenced in backyard that your pet will love to run free in. The fence was replaced summer of 2021 after the derecho. I work a hybrid schedule 3 days in an office 2 days at home. My boyfriend is home every Friday, he does not work Fridays. I have a large privacy fenced in yard for your dog to play in. I can kennel or crate your dog at your preference. I have a lock on the inside of my front door incase a dog jumps and opens the door.

About: In addition to having dogs and cats as my childhood pets, I also worked with the Puppy Jake Foundation training service dogs for wounded veterans for two years, and spent a summer interning at Kawa Farms K-9 Training. I have always adored all pets, but dogs and cats have a special place in my heart! I’m spending the summer in Ames and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available for last-minute bookings, frequent walks, overnight care, and lots of attention/playtime. I’m working part-time remotely over the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. I typically work about 4–5 hours on weekdays, leaving me with lots of availability for drop-in visits, walks, boarding, daycare, and overnight sitting. Because I spend most of my time at home, I’m able to give pets lots of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I also have flexibility for early morning, evening, and weekend care, and I’m happy to accommodate pets’ normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for based on their individual routine and needs. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, medication instructions, and any specific preferences owners share with me. In my home, pets would have plenty of attention, supervision, and space to relax indoors. I do have an unfenced yard, so all outdoor time would be supervised and pets would always be kept safely on a leash when outside. In clients’ homes, I do my best to maintain pets’ normal routines to help them feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, updates/photos, and lots of companionship throughout the visit. I also make sure the home stays clean and secure while I’m there.

About: I am a registered veterinary technician that works at an emergency hospital here in Columbus. I have a lot of experience with dogs, large and small, and cats as well. You can feel safe knowing that your fur babies are well taken care of and under great care. With my medical Knowledge, I am a great candidate to take care of any fur baby. While in my care, pets will be monitored closely and given everything they need, as well as endless snuggles. I do currently work 1st shift Sunday-Tuesday every week but I’m always happy to work around my schedule to meet you and your pets needs! I do not do any services inside my home but I am willing to come to yours, where your pet is most comfortable and happy!

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I got my first cat when I was 16 and now have two beautiful cats. Taking care of my cats has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and genuine love. I have also learned a lot about animal behavior from observing my cats and spending the past six years with them. Even though I have cats at home, I’ve also always loved dogs and enjoy spending time with them. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and make them feel comfortable and loved. I am a nursing student at DMACC and have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday available to care for pets! I am available to work anytime between 10AM and 11PM. I make sure I always know where my pets are throughout the day. If they aren’t in their usual spots, I check on them to make sure they’re safe and comfortable. Before leaving the house, I make sure they have fresh water, a clean environment, and that their scheduled meals are served. I also pay attention to their behavior because it tells me a lot about how they are doing.

About: I have had multiple pets from mice to dogs so I'm well rounded in diverse care. I love to play with animals especially dogs theyre just amazing. Weekends, work days, holidays (if needed). I can house for multiple days. I only leave to get groceries or to take my dog to the park. Safe and loving. Will have a great play partner Sammy loves to play he would all day if he could, we go on walks, park trips, sometimes just a drive.
