About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. I know how to administer medications, including insulin. I am currently a general contractor making my schedule very open, my wife loves helping with pets of all kinds as well which allows for more care opportunities. About: Growing up I have had both cats and dogs as well as spending a few years working on a horse farm, so I have a life time experience taken care of animals. On top of that not only do I love animals but I am also passionate about the work that I do and love to help others where ever I can. I am available most Monday- Friday 8:30am to 4pm. My hrs are flexible if your are looking for something later in the day or it is needed over night or on weekends. I belive that it depends on what the owner of the pet needs, I am flexible to do what ever needs to be done in order for the pet to feel most comfortable keeping to there routine. As for my own dog we feed her twice a day let her run in our fenced in yard multiple times a day and we go for walks once a week.
About: I’ve watched many dogs and two cats over the past 4 years usually over family friend vacations. I’ve worked with reactive dogs as well as two young puppies. I spoil my dogs and would be happy to treat your pets with just as much love! I am a part time college student so I have a TON of time to pet sit! As I prepare for dental school in the fall, I will also be free for summer work. I love staying with dogs in either an environment they are used to or my own depending on what the pet parent prefers! There is a fenced in dog park behind my apartment that is never occupied where I run around with dogs. If it is occupied, I would walk around the park nearby with lots to smell on the trail. About: I have always been an animal lover. Growing up my parents bred golden retrievers and I currently have a golden that my family and I adore. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors dogs since I was 12. I love big dogs and small. I’m very active and love walking and running around with my pets. I’m a college student home for the summer taking remote summer classes so my schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available a majority of the week. About: In addition to having dogs and cats as my childhood pets, I also worked with the Puppy Jake Foundation training service dogs for wounded veterans for two years, and spent a summer interning at Kawa Farms K-9 Training. I have always adored all pets, but dogs and cats have a special place in my heart! I’m spending the summer in Ames and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available for last-minute bookings, frequent walks, overnight care, and lots of attention/playtime. I’m working part-time remotely over the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. I typically work about 4–5 hours on weekdays, leaving me with lots of availability for drop-in visits, walks, boarding, daycare, and overnight sitting. Because I spend most of my time at home, I’m able to give pets lots of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I also have flexibility for early morning, evening, and weekend care, and I’m happy to accommodate pets’ normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for based on their individual routine and needs. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, medication instructions, and any specific preferences owners share with me. In my home, pets would have plenty of attention, supervision, and space to relax indoors. I do have an unfenced yard, so all outdoor time would be supervised and pets would always be kept safely on a leash when outside. In clients’ homes, I do my best to maintain pets’ normal routines to help them feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, updates/photos, and lots of companionship throughout the visit. I also make sure the home stays clean and secure while I’m there.
About: I have grown up and still have cats and dogs of my own. As well as cared for many other peoples cats and dogs so they could be out of town. I ensure you that I am experienced in the pet sitting field and will make your feline and K- Nine as happy as possible.
