About: I provide attentive, patient, and reliable care that’s tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I have experience caring for both energetic puppies and older pets who need a gentler approach, including maintaining routines, administering basic care, and watching closely for changes in behavior or health. I’m very detail-oriented when it comes to feeding schedules, potty breaks, and exercise, and I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. What sets me apart is my calm demeanor, strong sense of responsibility, and genuine love for animals—I treat every pet as if they were my own. I am available/ on call 24/7. Online Collin College studying sonography, also studying at my own paste. I have a lot of free time throughout the weeks. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I keep a clean, calm environment and make sure pets are never left unattended in unsafe situations. In a client’s home, I respect their space and ensure doors, gates, and crates are properly secured. I monitor pets for any changes in behavior or health and communicate updates promptly. My goal is to create a safe, stress-free environment where pets feel comfortable, secure, and cared for at all times.

“Julie did a great job with communicating and taking pictures of our dog. She was very courteous and kind. I'm not really sure our dog knew we were gone. I will be searching for julie again if we will leave town.”

“I really appreciate all the help that Ashley provided taking care of my cats, she takes the time to meet and play with them and always shares pictures of the cats during her visits to show me how happy they are around her. She’s the best !”

“Shelby was amazing with our girls during the drop in visits at our home! She was patient, caring, attentive to their needs, and followed all of our instructions perfectly. We felt very comfortable leaving them in her care, and the girls were happy and well taken care of. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her!”

“Really appreciate the great work from Julie! I was anxious about leaving my cats for 2 weeks, I'd never been gone that long. But Julie was very nice, handled everything very well even when my boy started hiding in the cupboard.”

About: I was a veterinary technician (4 years) at an emergency clinic and worked at a wildlife sanctuary while I was attending A&M University, so I have experience with many species--furry and scaley I am currently applying for law school at Texas Tech University, so I can swing by almost any time you need someone to come walk, play, or feed your pet I do not offer boarding, but I am more than happy to come over and take care of your fur baby. Of course I am trained and experienced with ensuring that they are safe and well taken care of while you're away.
“Bianca is great! Very polite, professional, and reliable. She takes great care of our pup and fish. We are so thankful for her and how often she helps us take care of our pets. 👍🏼👍🏼”

About: I love pets and I have had many throughout my childhood. I have taken care of animals from dogs all the way to deer and raccoons. I worked at a doggy daycare/boarding place for almost 2 years and got to learn lots more about dogs and their different personalities! I have no problem with dogs or cats I love them both. I am looking for an opportunity to make a little bit more money while staying at home! My boyfriend and I have a 4 year old mix who is 14 pounds and a 3 month old mini schnauzer! I am very flexible and you can reach me from 6am-8pm. I am currently staying at home and have two dogs of my own including a 3 month old puppy! So I’m very used to potty breaks, some accidents, toys everywhere, cuddle/nap times, and keeping a close eye to make sure she’s not getting anything she isn’t supposed to. I am usually awake at 4:30 every morning as well. I also babysit my friends chihuahua during the day while she’s at work and even walk my neighbors two pitties they have during the day. I also pet sit 5 large doodles and a mini schnauzer at someone home twice a week! I have two pups who love other dogs no matter the size! I do have a play pen that they can go into if I ever needed to run an errand real quick. If I’m babysitting at someone else’s home I usually make sure the dogs have potty breaks, play time, cuddles, water/food, and anything else the parents may want or need for them!
“Sierra was Awesome! She fed our 3 pups & did eye drops on our Jack Russell and stayed any played and petted them for an hour to give them interaction while we were gone! We are already thinking about booking her for the future!!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for more than 15 years and have always had a deep love for animals. As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your furry family members. I have experience with dogs of all ages and personalities, including shy and senior pets. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I am patient, attentive, and committed to following your instructions so your pet can maintain their normal routine. I am fluent in English and Spanish, allowing me to communicate easily with a wide range of pet parents. Regular updates and photos are always included! I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide attentive and reliable pet care throughout the week. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting on most weekdays and weekends. I understand how important routine is for pets, so I do my best to accommodate each pet’s schedule and needs while keeping owners updated with messages and photos. As a fellow dog parent, I know how important it is to leave your pets with someone you trust. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, including nervous and shy pups, so I always prioritize patience, safety, and comfort. I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own and keep you updated every step of the way with photos and messages.
About: I've taken care of dogs for 30 years. I have also rescued many dogs and have a few pups of my own. I understand when needing a sitter for your pets, because I'm very picky when it comes to who watches my pets, and I know we all just want someone to treat them like our own. I work a full time job from 8-5, but I go home for lunch to check on my own pets, so any additional pets would not be a problem. I am free all weekend as well. I have a big fenced yard and I have room inside my home to crate your pets if needed or at bedtime. I have little fur babies that would keep your babies company as well. Your fur babies will always be safe and well cared for.
“Kiana did everything I asked of her, and my babies were well taken care of. She sent plenty of pictures, and I highly recommend booking her to watch your pets. I will be hiring Kiana whenever I need to go out of town.”

About: I’ve always had a natural love and care for animals because they are so innocent and I believe they deserve the absolute best out of life. I have 3 dogs and 1 kitten of my own and they’re spoiled rotten. I like to give all the animals I care for the same love and patience I give my own babies. I’ve worked on training 4 puppies at once, caring for senior dogs and timid rescues who simply need extra patience and have received nothing but great outcomes. I feel as though animals naturally gravitate towards me and feel comfortable with me, which allows me to give them the best care possible. I work a full time job Monday through Friday 9-5 so I am free most evenings and weekends to care for your animals in whatever way that may be! I Can offer walks and/or dog park visits for a more free range run. I have a fenced back yard with turf and a kiddie pool for my own 3 dogs to enjoy and keep your fur baby company and entertained. However, they are mostly inside lounging around in the AC. They each have their own feeding areas for safe and comfortable feedings.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life, I grew up around them and caring for them was something I loved to do. I have many animals of my own now of all different species! Aside from my own small farm I’ve been in animal rescue for over 10 years caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and backgrounds. I also foster for one of our local rescue. Every animal I encounter is shown love. I know how scary and stressful it is to leave your pets with someone you don’t know, that’s why I do my best to make you and them both feel at ease so their visits are worry free for everyone! I like to set up meet and greets before actual visits start. This is a free service. I also send daily updates so that you can relax while away. You can find me on FB at Happy Tails where we post more about our visits! I’m currently a stay at home mom that homeschools my two children so we have plenty of time to love on your fur babies and fill whatever service is needed. Walks, potty breaks, playtime we can do it all! When visiting animals in our clients home we like to set up a meet and greet for our new clients. Once that is done and visits are scheduled we like to stay as close to possible to their normal routine. This lessens stress on everyone. We do potty breaks, feed/water, and play. We let the dogs energy lead and do what makes them happy!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Odessa
We are ecstatic to have Kiana sit for us. She has been our fur babies best friend for several years. We recently lost our blind baby’s rock and companion of 11 years, Sophie. Have been hesitant about leaving her for any length of time and would only leave her with Kiana because Piper (blind) knows her voice and touch. Kiana was so wonderful with her this very first trip…the pictures she sent spoke volumes that Piper was happy and comfortable. So grateful to have Kiana, she’s amazing ❤️🐶😍

I’m very protective over my fur baby, so trusting someone else with overnight care honestly makes me nervous, but she went above and beyond in every possible way. 🥹💕 She kept me updated constantly with pictures, videos, and sweet little check ins that made me feel so reassured while I was away. She made sure my dog stayed on schedule with walks, meals, medications, and bedtime routines, and you could tell she genuinely cared about making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My dog can be picky about people sometimes, but they absolutely adored her and looked so happy and relaxed the entire stay. Coming home to a calm, happy dog instead of a stressed one meant everything to me. It’s rare finding someone who treats your pet like family instead of “just another client,” and that’s exactly what she did. I’m so grateful for the love and care she gave my baby, and I genuinely would not hesitate to book with her again. Highly, highly recommend her to any fellow anxious dog parents out there. 🐾

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
