“"We're so grateful for Tasha! She was absolutely fabulous with our furry friends - our dog loved the extra attention and playtime, and our cat adored the snuggles. The dog walks and fetch sessions were a highlight for our pup, and Tasha even made sure to accommodate our dog's special dietary needs. Professional, trustworthy, and caring - we couldn't ask for more! Highly recommend Tasha to anyone looking for top-notch pet care 😊🐾❤️"”

I bring deep understanding and genuine love to every pet I watch. I know how to read their needs, handle different personalities, and provide a safe, comforting environment. I keep the space safe and clean, follow all care instructions, and make sure pets feel comfortable and loved. My backyard is fully fenced with no other animals, so pets have a secure space to play and relax.

I am patient, attentive, and committed to following your instructions so your pet can maintain their normal routine. I am fluent in English and Spanish, allowing me to communicate easily with a wide range of pet parents. Regular updates and photos are always included! I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide attentive and reliable pet care throughout the week. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting on most weekdays and weekends. I understand how important routine is for pets, so I do my best to accommodate each pet’s schedule and needs while keeping owners updated with messages and photos. As a fellow dog parent, I know how important it is to leave your pets with someone you trust. I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own and keep you updated every step of the way with photos and messages.
About: I've taken care of dogs for 30 years. I have also rescued many dogs and have a few pups of my own. As a bonus my daughter is a vet tech and runs a vet clinic near me. I understand when needing a sitter for your pets, because I'm very picky when it comes to who watches my pets, and I know we all just want someone to treat them like our own. I work a full time job from 8-5, but I go home for lunch to check on my own pets, so any additional pets would not be a problem. Also my daughter is home so they will not be alone. I am free all weekend as well. I have a big fenced yard and I have room inside my home to crate your pets if needed or at bedtime. I have little fur babies that would keep your babies company as well. Your fur babies will always be safe and well cared for.
“Kiana did everything I asked of her, and my babies were well taken care of. She sent plenty of pictures, and I highly recommend booking her to watch your pets. I will be hiring Kiana whenever I need to go out of town.”

“Emily did such an amazing job taking care of my 2 babies! She was always kind and helpful, even when my dogs both ended up getting sick right when we left, she did an amazing job powering through and keeping us updated through her whole stay! Her communication was top tier! I would 1000% book again with Emily and recommend her.”

About: I love pets and I have had many throughout my childhood. I have taken care of animals from dogs all the way to deer and raccoons. I worked at a doggy daycare/boarding place for almost 2 years and got to learn lots more about dogs and their different personalities! I have no problem with dogs or cats I love them both. I am looking for an opportunity to make a little bit more money while staying at home! My boyfriend and I have a 4 year old mix who is 14 pounds and a 3 month old mini schnauzer! I am very flexible and you can reach me from 6am-8pm. I am currently staying at home and have two dogs of my own including a 3 month old puppy! So I’m very used to potty breaks, some accidents, toys everywhere, cuddle/nap times, and keeping a close eye to make sure she’s not getting anything she isn’t supposed to. I am usually awake at 4:30 every morning as well. I also babysit my friends chihuahua during the day while she’s at work and even walk my neighbors two pitties they have during the day. I also pet sit 5 large doodles and a mini schnauzer at someone home twice a week! I have two pups who love other dogs no matter the size! I do have a play pen that they can go into if I ever needed to run an errand real quick. If I’m babysitting at someone else’s home I usually make sure the dogs have potty breaks, play time, cuddles, water/food, and anything else the parents may want or need for them!
About: I own two dogs of my own. I have pet sat for friends and family. I walk my dogs every evening. I also have a teenage brother that likes to play with fur babies as well. Right now I have pretty flexible hours. Once school starts my mornings will be a little tight but I can schedule earlier visits before 7am and evening visits after 4:00pm. I have a fenced yard. 2 friendly pets that will play with yours. Bring your own crates please. If you prefer for yours to play alone we can do that as well.
About: I have an abundance of pet care experience: drop in visits, walking, and overnight care. I have been called back to care for pets multiple times by the same families because of the quality of care provided. I enjoy working with pets of all sizes, shapes, and breeds. I also work with cats. Your pets will be in good hands, especially if they enjoy being active or outdoors. I have a cat named Beans and a Golden Retriever puppy named Ranger! I look forward to getting to know you and your pet(s)! I will have my availability posted and updated as frequently as possible. This should limit any confusion with my availability and schedules! Thank you for your understanding. I love giving dogs lots of cuddles, love, and attention. Depending on the breed, I will provide them with the adequate amount of exercise. I can assure your pets are in good company with me!

Emily did such an amazing job taking care of my 2 babies! She was always kind and helpful, even when my dogs both ended up getting sick right when we left, she did an amazing job powering through and keeping us updated through her whole stay! Her communication was top tier! I would 1000% book again with Emily and recommend her.

I’m very protective over my fur baby, so trusting someone else with overnight care honestly makes me nervous, but she went above and beyond in every possible way. 🥹💕 She kept me updated constantly with pictures, videos, and sweet little check ins that made me feel so reassured while I was away. She made sure my dog stayed on schedule with walks, meals, medications, and bedtime routines, and you could tell she genuinely cared about making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My dog can be picky about people sometimes, but they absolutely adored her and looked so happy and relaxed the entire stay. Coming home to a calm, happy dog instead of a stressed one meant everything to me. It’s rare finding someone who treats your pet like family instead of “just another client,” and that’s exactly what she did. I’m so grateful for the love and care she gave my baby, and I genuinely would not hesitate to book with her again. Highly, highly recommend her to any fellow anxious dog parents out there. 🐾

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
