About: Growing up, I have always looked after dogs of close friends and family, and have studied nutrition and health, which led me to work at a pet hotel for about a year with almost every dog breed. My responsibilities included prepping food, cleaning, 1 on 1 play, and group play. I have been in charge of up to 20 dogs at 1 time. I also co-own a dog named Luna. The other owner and I had Luna since she was a puppy and she is now 5 years old. I teach obedience/behavior training to many dogs and I develop trust with dogs that is unique to my experience with various breeds. It takes patience and consistency to be a great leader for dogs and I wear my heart on my sleeve for every dog I'm caring for; communication with your dog is key. I currently work part time and make Dog care apart of my every day routine, if I'm not with my dog I'm working with other dogs. I have a good size open backyard and toys depending on the play style of your dog; crate training is much appreciated if they are familiar. Walks are frequent, especially for high energy dogs

“We were away for 4 days and did not have to worry about chewie at all. Gina gave us updates plus pictures. Gina is very dependable would recommend her to friends and family. Thank you Gina for taking care of our furbaby.”

Health and Safety Expertise: I’m well-versed in recognizing signs of illness or distress and am trained in basic pet first aid, so you can trust your pet’s health is in good hands. 4. Enrichment and Engagement: I prioritize mental and physical stimulation through interactive play, puzzle toys, and exercise tailored to your pet’s energy level and preferences. 5. Reliable and Trustworthy Service: I treat your home with the utmost respect and maintain open communication, providing updates and photos so you can rest assured your pet is thriving. 6. Genuine Passion for Animals: My dedication goes beyond just a job—I see pet care as a way to build a bond and make a positive impact on their lives. Caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home, requires attentiveness, consistency, and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each animal. Here’s a breakdown of how I approach pet care in both settings: Caring for Pets in My Home: 1. Establishing a Routine: • I create a daily schedule for feeding, exercise, playtime, grooming, and rest, ensuring stability and comfort for my pets. • Meal times are consistent, and fresh water is always available. 2. Creating a Safe and Enriching Environment: • I ensure my home is pet-proofed, with no access to harmful plants, toxic substances, or dangerous objects. • I provide toys, scratching posts, and cozy sleeping areas tailored to their preferences. 3. Health and Hygiene: • I maintain clean litter boxes or outdoor areas for bathroom needs. • Regular grooming, nail trimming, and dental care are part of the routine. • I stay vigilant for signs of illness and keep up with vaccinations, vet checkups, and preventative care. 4. Bonding and Training: • I dedicate time daily for play, affection, and positive reinforcement training to build trust and strengthen our bond. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, as I prioritize the well-being, happiness, and health of the animals I care for. Here’s how it fits into my schedule: in the morning i start off by Feeding: I start the day by preparing fresh meals according to the pet’s specific dietary needs. Hydration: I ensure water bowls or fountains are clean and filled with fresh water. Bathroom Needs: For cats, I scoop litter boxes daily, and for dogs, I schedule morning walks to give them a chance to stretch and relieve themselves. During midday i help them Exercise: I schedule play sessions or walks to keep pets physically active and mentally stimulated. Engagement: This could include interactive toys, training sessions, or just quality time spent bonding with the pet. Cleaning: I tidy up their spaces, such as washing food bowls, refreshing bedding, or cleaning up any messes. In the evening it is Dinner Time: Another feeding session, ensuring pets stick to their routine. Grooming: For long-haired pets or those that shed a lot, I brush their fur. Nail trimming or light cleaning (like wiping paws) happens as needed. And finally Wind-Down: I end the day with calm activities, like cuddling or relaxing together, ensuring they feel secure before bedtime.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in high school for both my family and friends. I’ve fed, washed, and walked dogs for a very long time. Currently, I am working from home and so, my schedule is very open and flexible to accommodate your needs and your dog’s needs. 😊 😊 I have a fenced backyard and my family dog is currently living with my sister. In my house, the living room is divided by a dog gate, allowing dogs to have ample room to play or sleep, and balcony access if they want to sit on the balcony and sunbathe.

About: I have a strong passion for providing attentive and loving care to pets of all kinds. Having grown up around and cared for many animals, I am skilled in offering everything from daily walks and playtime to feeding, grooming, and administering medications when needed. I understand the importance of building trust and ensuring that each pet feels comfortable, safe, and happy in my care. Whether it's providing companionship, exercise, or simply a watchful eye while you're away, I am dedicated to giving your pet the best care possible and ensuring they feel loved and secure at all times. What sets me apart from other sitters is my specialized experience in caring for anxious, sick, and young animals, particularly kittens as young as two weeks old. My background in rescuing and nurturing vulnerable pets has given me a unique skill set in handling animals with specific medical needs or behavioral challenges. I am adept at creating a calm, reassuring environment that helps pets feel safe and secure. Whether it's offering a comforting presence to a nervous pet or supporting a sick animal through their recovery, I provide dedicated, individualized care that ensures your pet’s needs are met with compassion and attention. Disclaimer: I currently have 2 cats, so your pet would have to be gentle towards cats. I work remote from home, so I am home all day. I go out on some weekends for a few hours at a time, but never more than 4 hours. I have a large house and my room is detached from the rest of it, so they would have their own space if need be. I enjoy my daily walks and would love to bring a buddy along! I prioritize safety, trust, and a comforting environment when caring for pets in both my home and my client’s home. In my home, I ensure a pet-friendly space that is secure, clean, and free of hazards, with designated areas for play, rest, and meals. I track their food intake and always keep outtake in mind to catch any problems, if need be. I provide plenty of attention, love, and supervision to make sure pets feel safe and comfortable. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, offering consistent care and maintaining a familiar environment. I always ensure your pet’s safety by keeping their space secure, whether it's limiting access to certain areas or keeping harmful items out of reach. Open communication with pet parents is key, so I regularly update you on how your pet is doing, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. Trust and respect are the foundation of my approach, ensuring that your pet feels as loved and cared for as they would at home.

“Shannon was amazing! I’m from out of town and had to last minute stop through for a funeral. Having Shannon so quickly respond and send me frequent updates on my pup made a tough day so much less stressful. Lincoln came back happy and tired! Thank you, Shannon!”

About: I am a pet owner myself and have been since I was young. I have 3 Shih Tzus, 1 Daschund, 1 Keeshond and 1 cat back in my home country. I try training my dogs basic tricks and so far I'm quite successful with it. I work full time and would like some outlet that would affect my body and mind in a positive way. I work on different shifts and will open my hours I am available may it be morning or afternoon. Our pets are our babies in animal form, and like babies I assure you - I'll take care of them the best I can. They'll be spoiled and pampered!
